They usually take good care of mr puppers. A country feel to this place. Dogs like it.

We always board our dog here. They are incredibly flexible and always take good care of our high energy Australian shepherd. We often have him groomed at the end of his stay and he always comes home looking awesome!

Best place to take your dogs, by far! Large area for them to run and play. The staff is always very nice as well.

We've never used the salon services, but this is the only place we will ever kennel our pup. The pricing is great and our good boy is absolutely grinning when we drop him off. That says all I need to know about his care while he is there. Thank you, Lazy Dog Ranch, for great pet care while we travel!

Left my dog there for boarding and felt good about her having lots of other dogs and a big yard to play in. When we came back to pick up our dog I received her things and asked where her medication was. At first they didn’t seem to know and then found it. I was told that they never gave her her medication for anxiety even though I had left daily dosing instructions that they apparently didn’t follow. The woman said she didn’t need it. Unfortunately that is a daily med and not optional and it was clearly stated in the paperwork. I asked how she did with the other dogs and they told me she never played with any other dogs. The woman said she had 3- 1 on 1 human times a day which I guess was a walk. I felt so horrible because my dog loves playing with other dogs and generally likes dogs more than people. It leads me to believe she was just in a crate all day and let out 3 times. In the description of boarding it says each dog gets the play yard. The woman told me they had too many dogs and were very busy. Also, my dog smelled so horrible after I got her that I had to bathe her that night. People were friendly enough and my dog was alive and had somewhere to be so that is good. I would have liked her to get her medication and time to play and would prefer a place that could do that in the future.

The staff here are very polite and they had my pooch groomed in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good place to get their dog groomed. Edit: They unfortunately never trim his nails or squeeze his gland properly. I called to ask if they could do these services before I dropped him off and they still didn't get done. Very frustrating.

wow, as a large breed traveling through I didnt expect such awsome companionship and total attention to my needs. Not since my visit to the Tabacon Hot Springs in Costa Rica last week was I pampered as much as I was at the Lazy Dog Ranch. Check them out. Ask for Sandra, she sings accapella during happy hour on Fridays!

Just from the replies you give customers I can tell you’re not very good with customers, I really wouldn’t want to leave my dog with someone like that

I boarded my dog Meo here over the Christmas holiday. I was told she had a blast playing with the other dogs. It really showed bc she was all smiles when I came to pick her up. I'm so glad she had fun. I would definitely board her here again!!

We've been boarding our dogs here for over 15 years. Our lab gets so excited every time we pull up to the front door.

My previous experiences were great, despite a bit of rudeness about how my dog was not neutered at the time. Prices were great and my golden had so much fun, I took him there every time I had a competition out of town. Then last week when I dropped him off the employee was so rude, then when she misheard my number, she told me that I cannot go through my life being so softspoken. This is no way to treat a customer, so I will no longer be taking my dog there. Smells weird too.

I took my 8 week old puppy cinch in today for doggie daycare while I was at work until my boyfriend could pick him up. The people at the front were pretty rude when I dropped him off. Also a long story short my boyfriend went in and told them he was here to pick up cinch. The people at the front argued with him for 20 minutes about not having a black and white puppy named cinch. They went in the back 2 or 3 times to check and came out with no dog. Finally they brought him out. I'm concerned that they didn't even remeber our dog was there. He likely got thrown in a cage and forgotten about, not able to go out and go to the bathroom etc... I would not recommend there services to anyone. I am HIGHLY disappointed.

I've thought long and hard about how to describe my experience with Lazy Dog Ranch in the last few weeks and it is very poor and unsettling to me how dishonest the staff were with my dogs. I've been a weekly customer for about 6 of the 11 months since I started using them and I never heard a bad word about my dogs, but recently it came to my attention through a video of them chasing a horse that there was no one in the immediate area to prevent injury or what to do if my dogs had actually jumped the fence into the pasture which is incredibly unsafe for everyone involved. On top of that when I take my dogs back home my state has a law that you can shoot dogs for chasing livestock so I would never condone this type of prey drive behavior and it is upsetting that they allowed it and labeled it as "play". Now no one had told me once that my dogs weren't allowed in their play groups, and when I asked they told me maybe once a month they get to even see other dogs. That's $32 out of the $128 I spend a month on daycare to actually get what I paid for. Now this review would be completely different and 5 stars like my original review if they had just told me that I needed to find a place that was more equipped to handle my dogs because that's being honest. I think it is incredibly shady and dishonest that they let me believe that I was paying for playgroup when that was far from true. My other complaint is that two weeks ago when my boyfriend picked them up the woman he talked to had no idea who my dogs were, or even where they were and I chalked it up to them being new, but now I'm not so sure. It's really upsetting that this is how my relationship had to end with Lazy Dog Ranch because originally I loved it here and I trusted everyone with my dogs. It's just really sad how much has changed and so I will look for a daycare that can be open and honest and handle my dogs needs. Update: I would just like to say way to edit your review after the initial one blamed me for being rude to a girl that had a hearing impairment, which I never did. I simply took my dogs and said we wouldn't be back. Also the last thing I was ever told about my dogs was that Edie was fine with little dogs and Joey was fine with all dogs. It's funny that you couldn't find playmates for my dogs when they play with dogs at other daycares just fine as well as with the many foster dogs that come through my home. Also commenting on peoples reviews making it seem like they are the bad people when the consistent theme in their reviews is that you are rude and have no idea who their dogs are speaks volumes about your business.

They always take great care of our dog Rufus. When he needed to wear the cone of shame during a visit, they were very accommodating.

This place is open and welcomes new clients every day. Each and every day is a good day at Lazy Dog Ranch. My dogs love to go there. My dogs start howling before we even arrive there in excitement. Each day they go there and play with other dogs in the giant yard. There are birds and squirrels and trees. We use the salon and the two groomers there are very good with all dogs. Over the years there have been a few guest groomers but rest assured they have moved on and won't be back. You can trust these folks. It is a family business and not a franchise. They will get to know your pets and treat them like family. Many area vets use the salon and boarding services and have for many years. Without all the trappings and fancy advertising budget of big box pet places lazy dog ranch has a simple and friendly registration process and you can arrange a check in time that compliments your travel plans. Their daycare has very flexible check in and check out and they offer evening care as well.

We brought our golden retriever here for a puppy cut. As we were new to town, I talked with the owner about what we were looking for and what price we could expect. We dropped off our dog on a Saturday morning and Faith was the groomer on duty. Faith was not very friendly, and had our dog down for the wrong service, but since I had good dialogue with the owner prior to that day we moved forward with the appointment. I left my husband's phone number with Faith, letting her know my phone battery was low. When I got home and plugged in my phone I had 7 text messages from Faith; the first three were asking questions about what I wanted, the last four were telling me to come pick up our dog. My husband had no missed calls. When we picked up our dog, the cut was incredibly poor quality; it was choppy, uneven, and her belly was so short it looked like it was shaved. Faith told me the price of the appointment, which was double what the owner and I discussed. When I told her about my previous conversation with the owner, Faith told me she set her own prices. I contacted the owner about this, and she said I was unclear about what I was looking for. I don't know how "We're looking for a puppy cut for our golden retriever" could possibly be unclear. The owner offered me 10% off a future appointment, but we will not be making a second appointment.

Today my mom and I brought her dog and my puppy in for nail trimmings. My puppy went first and he has now been bleeding for two hours. We took my moms dog in second and we warned them that he was very nervous and hates having his nails trimmed. The lady told my mom to be quiet, as somehow her explaining that he may be scared would scare the dog. They laid him on the floor and held him down. Two nails in we noticed that he was panicking. By the third nail his eyes were bright red and looked like they were about to pop out. My mom asked them to stop as he was clearly traumatized. The lady moved our dog closer to her / further away from my mom and told my mom to be quiet and that he had to learn. They continued trimming two more nails as my mom was continuing to tell them "Stop! We are done. Give me my dog back!" They would not give him back! We had to physically grab him out of their hands. It was insane! I do not understand how they could treat animals in this way and not care about a dogs psychological or physical well being.
