Bounce Animal Rescue Fort Collins, Wyoming

My experience with Bounce was great. I filled out the adoption application and was approved. I emailed my interest in a puppy, which was put on hold for the upcoming adoption event. At the adoption event I was able to meet the foster parent who was so nice and sweet. She gave me all the information on the puppy, Earl Gray. The foster parent also help me gather supplies around the store that I would need (puppy food, dog collar, leash). She even let my daughter select a sweater for the puppy that she owned. We are very happy with Earl Gray, renamed Pickles.

This is such a fabulous rescue! They do anything for these rescue animals that they need to get them taken care of and evaluated prior to being adopted. They are all spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. Since they are foster based they have information on how they are behaviorally (around kids, other animals, potty training, etc), so can place them in the proper home. They are quick to get back to you and put you in contact with the foster so you can discuss any questions you have. They are such a great rescue to adopt from!

Unfortunately this rescue is not honest about their dogs. I understand that telling potential owners about serious behavioral problems will likely not get a dog adopted, but lying and giving someone an animal with severe behavioral issues that were not disclosed is very unprofessional and not fair to the owners or the dog.

I rescued two dogs Mazie and Olivia. I was told they where house broken and had no behavioral issues. I had let them know I didn't want to work with a dog who had these issues. They where not potty trained and had fear of children. I ended up returning them because my chilren made them uncomfortable (just them playing and not even near the dogs made them shake) and I couldn't leave the house without Mazie soiling the kennel and flinging it. I wasn't able to get my money back. They are kind, but not honest about the dog's behavior or issues to sell the animal.

We've adopted 2 dogs with Bounce and they are the best!!

Great experience. They are very animal focused and committed to pairing the right animal to the right home. They went above and beyond to work with us and to help us find the perfect cat personality to be around our rescue dog.

These guys run a great program! Rescue is the best way to go for a pet and these guys do it right!
