Tami is an AMAZING dog trainer!! I've worked with other trainers before and wasn't seeing any real progress with my dogs bad behavior. I decided to go with the board and train program and it was the BEST decision I made for my dog. I highly recommend American Dog School.

Amazing!!! We're currently in training with our golden doodle puppy and the training he's received has been wonderful. I highly recommend if you want to have the best dog on the block. Spend the money, you won't regret it!!!!!

Tami is amazing, this is our second pup to go through training with her and we have had so much success with her technique!

This place is top notch. My wild malinois Margot was too crazy for me to walk or take anywhere. My husband could barely walk her she dragged us everywhere. We took her here and Tami and her team completely turned her into the best girl. I am mind blown, I couldn't believe it when I took her on a walk for the first time by myself it was so amazing. There is nothing like having your best friend being able to enjoy going out without all the anxiety. Tami said there is much to be done but I am completely satisfied with the work shes already done, I cant wait to see what's next in our training adventures. We are going to be customers for life. We adopted an untrained, one year old rescue dog in January. She quickly proved more than we could manage and a friend recommended American Dog School and Tami Carraso. I am ever grateful for the recommendation. We now have a dog that we enjoy. Our dog is happy, responsive and has a new lease on life. Tami’s individual attention helped us with specific behavioral issues and the group classes taught our dog how to have successful interactions with other dogs and their owners; however, much of her training was really training us. We have also boarded our dog on multiple occasions with Tami and are appreciative of the quality care she provides.

Tami is amazing we took are cane corso to her and also our lab puppy (that has gone on to be a great little hunter) She helped us more than we knew was possible. I couldn’t imagine how our dogs would be this awesome with out her!

Took my dog drax here for board and training for a month and completely different dog. Tami and Amanda are amazing. Sometimes hard to get a hold of but my dog was well kept for and feed his food. We look at the kennels when dropping him off and they were a little small but he had another section he could open up for play/potty. All people talking about animal abuse clearly haven't proved anything, otherwise she wouldn't be in business. She let my dog play and train. Before writing this place off go and visit her and you won't be sorry!

We had met with Tami and Amanda prior to seeing any reviews and I'm so glad we did. We trusted our gut and not the negative people on here. Our 1 year old lab Bailey was a handful prior to taking her to Tami. We just got her back last week and she is a completely different dog. She listens, she's calm with our small children and she's finally the family dog we wanted thanks to Tami and Amanda. When we take Bailey back for follow up she isn't timid at all and if it were a bad place I think she would be. She still enjoys going back to see Tami. I would recommend her and her facility. Her kennels and property are very nice. Our dog was well cared for and came back happy and healthy! Thank you Tami and Amanda for all you did for and with Bailey.

*Update* Owner is saying the bad comments on here aren't real....they certainly are...**I took my dog here for a board and train before I left for a wedding, thinking it would only be a few weeks. By the end of it all they had my dog for 8 weeks!! They kept telling me that she wasn't trained enough and needed longer. When I got my dog back she was still NOT TRAINED AT ALL and (told by a vet) extremely under weight like she hadn't been fed at all or nearly enough (though I left a whole bag of food). It made me cry to see my dog so underweight and sad. Their kennels are horrible and I've gotten a response by a professional that places like this leave your dog in a horrible kennel for all but 20 minutes of the day. please don't take your dog here. There are plenty of places that have your dog outdoors at all times playing with other dogs. Think about your puppy. I still feel sad for mine after sending her here. She has gained back the 10+ pounds she lost while staying here. Please do more research, I wish I had. For our dogs

Tami is the greatest. We have had our two older dogs, and our 20 month old puppy with her for boarding, day care, and much, much training. Couldn't find a better person, dog care giver, and trainer. In case you look further, Tami was charged with Animal cruelty by the Larimer County District Attorney, it went to trial and she was found innocent. The whole trial was a farce, it should have never occurred. Tami would never, ever harm a dog, or knowingly allow harm to befall a dog in her care. Since our children are grown, our doggies are our children, therefore, we trust our children with Tami.

My husband and I have been taking our Boxer to American Dog School since he was a puppy. If you’ve had a Boxer you know they aren’t always easy to train. They have been amazing with him. He is as happy there as he is in our home. I think he may love Tami more than he loves us. We have used them for training, boarding and day care for years. We wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Exceptional care for an unbeatable price. We are customers for life.

My family adopted a rescued Border Collie in August 2012. Had it not been for Tami we would have not been able to keep the dog, due to aggression issues towards other dogs. Tami has given us amazing results in a very short period of time. I have nicknamed her the “dog whisperer” as she is so in-tuned with dogs. Both of our dogs (the new one and our old one) LOVE going to see Tami and work with her. I trust her with my dogs unconditionally, and I am very impressed with her methods and her facility.
