Canine Corner Waunakee, Wisconsin

I have had Canine Corner groom my dog Atlas at all three of their locations. They do a fantastic job every time. They are also so good with animals that my dog never hesitates to run right in and get things started and he clearly feels much better after a good bath and brushing!!! I will always go to Canine Corner!

We recently brought our dog here for the first time. He is a terrier mutt and didn't need any sort of specific cut. They did an awesome job and were very affordable. Our pup is loving summer now that he is not super hot. They were also able to grind his nails down a ton, which other groomers haven't done. You can just tell he is so much more comfortable and happy!

I wish there were an option for zero stars because that’s what I would give. My story starts with calling the Waunakee location to discuss the two cuts that were on my dog’s, Sammy, hind leg. After asking for a refund, Anika asked me to bring Sammy in. I told her that I didn’t want to traumatize him by bringing him back to the place that injured him but that I could send photos. She was immediately defensive and denied having anything to do with his injury. The conversation started to spiral out of control by her basically calling me a liar. All I was looking for was a simple apology and a refund. She was so rude and unprofessional, even at one point laughing at our very serious discussion, that I asked to speak with the owner. Once Paula called, she began to make excuses about why they have a hard time refunding customers...she said too many people take advantage of trying to get a free grooming. I assured her I was not one of them. She should not automatically assume that every customer wants a free grooming, but instead treat every customer as having legitimate complaint...such as mine. She further stated that because of our golden retriever’s undercoat, they have to brush that out and what my dog experienced was “brush burn”. However there are two VERY distinctive gashes in Sammy’s hind leg. Regardless of whether they brushed soooo super hard to leave these gashes or nicked it with a razor (in two spots) it is unacceptable and the way I was completely uncalled for. I am getting a refund but believe me it took my dog’s blood, my sweat and tears to get this. Do not take your dog here. If something happens they will deny it and make you feel like your trying to take advantage of a free grooming. Sammy deserves better and so does your pet.

Stopped in to make appointment to get dogs nails done. The girls said come back at 4:30. We brought both our dogs. They cut nails right when we walked in. We had to hold our dogs while she cut the nails. One to short bled, half cut some still long $15.00 for each dog for a bad job. Both my dogs have anxiety so we thought professionals, close to home. Won’t be back. Now we get to spend more money to have someone else finish the job

We had a great experience bringing our newfoundland here. Will definitely be back!
