Great vet!!! We spent over a year at another vet trying to figure out our cat's diarrhea. After one trip to see Dr. McDonald at Cream Kitty, we have answers!!! So thankful!!

Adopted a cat, completely free of charge. And this buddy was the best cat I've met to date. He is practically human to me in every way. He makes eye contact. Rubs his face against yours. Expresses various emotions with different tones and meows. Without this clinic I would've never met my best friend, and family member, Punky. He is 5 years old now. I love him as much as I would a brother. Would recommend this place for anything cat related.

I'm repeatedly impressed by the care that Dr. McDonald and the CCKC staff show for their patients. Dr. McDonald is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and down to earth. This is, hands down, the best vet I've ever taken my cats to, which is why I keep coming back. 10/10 recommend!

I am so grateful we found this clinic as we raise our first kitten. You can tell the doctors truly love cats, and are experts in their care. All of the staff is friendly and understanding. Our kitten was continuously vomiting, and Dr. McDonald discovered he had ingested string within minutes, and calmly advised us of the next steps. Even better, I’ve never felt like this clinic is trying to rob me of my money.

I just moved and needed to find a new vet for my kitties. I chose Cream City because of reviews and distance from home. Nice place! Staff was friendly, organized and includes a couple of kitties. My Bella was in for a yearly exam. The vet we saw was awesome! She was so sweet and knowledgeable. She let me make decisions on care, which is refreshing. Bella was very comfortable with her, and it felt like we all became friends. When leaving and paying the bill, I was happily surprised at the cost. So reasonable.

Despite not being able to save my kitty's life, Dr. Jean McDonald was compassionate and caring towards us and our fur baby. We will go back to this clinic when we get another cat in the future.

For many years Dr McDonald has cared for my kitties. She always takes her time and provides a lot of info, rather than a summary. She and the staff are the cat experts and I have ultimate confidence in the care and advice given. I love the resident kitties that cavort around the clinic, sleep on the counter and any chair in sight. This is the best vet around for kitty care.

She truly cares about the cats health and happiness and it shows with not only her treatment of the animals but with her approach with the owners as well. My kitty has always had trouble at the vet as she’s a pretty sassy girl and gets really anxious so taking her to a place with no dogs really helps her. Plus the staff are great at handling her. I’m so happy I moved back to this area so I could start taking her here again.

Happy this Clinic is just to care for cats

I've had two experiences with Cream City Kitty Clinic after our former veterinarian Cat Care Plus on 76th & Beloit closed the business as sadly no one was interested in purchasing it. But we moved to Waukesha a year ago so Cream City is super convenient. I brought in my 14 yo Seal Point Siamese cat Missy on July 28, 2019 to be assessed because she had several symptoms she had never had before. The office staff is SO friendly, helpful and Professional! They gave Missy Princess like attention! Missy was dehydrated and the vet was unsure of exactly what was wrong with her and when I explained I'm on Social Security Disability so have limited income, she offered the most conservative testing options along with subcutaneous hydration. I was also encouraged to try to get Missy to eat wet cat food sent home with us. Missy did a little better that day, but wouldn't eat. Two days later I called for the test results and sadly Missy was in renal failure. I was given some treatment options or euthanasia. While on the phone with the clinic Missy went to the water bowl to try to drink and began crying as she could no longer drink. I knew this was the end for Missy. Unfortunately there weren't any openings to euthanize Missy that day but we got in at 10 am the next morning. While it's SO difficult to watch your kitty family member dying, my husband and I took turns holding vigil over her, putting water on her lips so she could get at least some water, snuggled and slept with her when she wanted and watched her take her last nap in the sun. When we arrived at the clinic to euthanize Missy we were immediately ushered into a treatment room where a blanket was laying on the table. The staff was so sympathetic while I completed the euthanasia paperwork and paid for it before the procedure. The vet asked if we'd ever been present for animal euthanasia and sadly we have for several pets. We then stood over Missy kissing her head, telling her what a wonderful kitty she was while the vet gave her the euthanasia shot and Missy drifted up to kitty heaven to reunite with her other specie friends there. On March 11, 2020 after being sick about a week then stopped eating and drinking, Missy's bff 15 yo Tabby Lexy joined her and their other specie friends in heaven. We had the same euthanasia experience with Lexy. The vets and staff here are amazing, compassionate, caring, sympathetic and professional. And the rates are very reasonable. We love they have several cat "greeters and helpers" roaming the waiting room. It's such a welcoming place for cats! And, the staff sent us sympathy cards for the loss of each of our girls. That meant the world to us! Now we still have 2 1/2 yo Tabby Emily left and plan to adopt a kitty friend for her in the near future. She misses her sisters as much as we do! They took excellent care if my cat, Mabel. She liked them and was happy. If Mabel is happy, and not stressed by going to the vet and getting her nails trimmed, I'm happy.

Great vet. They made my cat feel at ease in minutes and she never takes to people.They spayed her and she wasn't doing great. I called in with my concerns and they got me in the next day. They gave me some antibiotics and painkillers just in case there was something wrong and so far Hazel has been doing better. They even requested I call in a few days just to verify Hazel was doing better. Would definitely recommend them.
