Great staff, very friendly and very knowledgeable. Will definitely go back. We are dog sitting and the poor girl is arthritic and has other problems and they were very good with her.

They where able to fit my pet in and help him the same day, due to someone canceling their appointment. Friendly staff, helpful and knowledgeable. My dog was very comfortable.

Dr. Billett and everyone at Peninsula Vet is great. We love the care and compassion they have for our fur babies.

The Dr. And staff were very gracious, accomodating, and responsive in our time of need. They also sent us a card with our family dog's paw print on it and personal messages. Very touching. We appreciate everything they did for us.

very bulldog had an emergency, she was bleeding from her mouth and I did not know the severity of her injury and they WOULD NOT see her, told me to go to Green Bay to the 24/7 emergency vet....that they were by APPOINTMENT ONLY....

We first used Pen Vet when we moved to Sturgeon Bay in 2006. We keep going there, because we are so pleased with the staff and their excellent and compassionate care for our cats and dogs - and for us, when it came time for some of our furry friends to be released from their ills. We wholeheartedly recommend these fine people and their facilities for anyone who loves their pet.

We are so happy to have found Dr. Sherry and her amazing staff! Our pets are treated with great affection (on our first visit Dr. Sherry gave our puppy a big kiss on the head and we knew we had found our vet!) and high quality care. It’s a pleasure to visit and even the dogs know they’re in for a treat(literally) but even more importantly, she’s an amazing vet who is quick to catch and resolve health issues or give referrals when necessary. I might add she continues as your advocate with referrals as well. And the staff! Amazing. I think I can sum it up with how they answer the phone—“This is ___. How can I help?” And they mean it. Ten stars!

We are visiting from out of town and noticed some discoloration in our dog's stool. Like any concerned dog owner we called the vet to schedule an appointment for some testing. The person who answered the phone was so rude that my fiancé was sobbing by the time she hung-up. Having a sick pup is difficult enough, some empathy goes a long way. Definitely wouldn't trust this clinic to take care of my dog. We were able to contact another vet about the same distance away who was extremely kind and helpful, plus it was half the price. "Edited 3/10/21" You realize you were on speaker and I heard the whole thing right? Please see the comment that the owner attached to the review. Great example of the condescending attitude of the folks who run this clinic. Clearly not a customer service oriented organization. Owner responds to a complaint by attacking someone's personal life and their mental and emotional state. Clearly no empathy from the owner. I've also added screenshots of the many other aggressive responses to bad reviews where they continue to attack people who are dissatisfied. Calling people horrible pet owners and attacking them personally. I'd stay away from this one, but by all means find out for yourself.

I brought my dog here when she was having stomach problems, and the vet was amazing! She helped me with a clear plan of action to figure out what was going on with my baby girl, and we got her all sorted out!

Dr. Billet and her staff are simply AMAZING! Our story started with adopting a dog from a humane society right before the Covid-19 was a concern. Shortly after when our dog was due to be seen it was nearly impossible for a new patient that wasn't emergent to be seen at the vet that was recommended by a friend. We waited nearly 2 months to be seen. When I took her there they said she tested positive for heart worms. I asked about the treatment and cost and they were unsure about either. I wanted a second opinion and called Peninsula Veterinary and when I spoke to the receptionist she asked to call me back. A few minutes later Dr. Billet herself called me back and we had a very informative conversation. I scheduled an appointment for the next week. Our dog was re-tested (positive) and had a full work up. The vet the previous week had not even looked at her ears. Dr. Billet and her staff fully cleaned them and said there was no way the vet even looked in them. When I picked up our dog Dr. Billet had said it would take her a few hours to write up a full treatment plan. When I received it a few hours later it was EXTREMELY detailed and informative. I would NEVER take an animal or recommend any where else but Dr. Billet. She has shown tremendous care for our dog and has even e-mailed after hours to make sure that we had all of the information needed and our concerns answered. She truly cares about the animals that are in her care and is very passionate. Bonus: her pricing is reasonable. Thank you Dr. Billet and staff!

We are very happy with the care our dog has received. He had a wound that needed to be looked at and they were able to get him in promptly the next day and scheduled a follow-up in a week. Its the first time my dog wore a cone and was happy about it!

These folks did a fantastic job spaying my little princess cat. The price was substantial but I asked why and was given a transparent, honest answer - with animal care you get what you pay for, and the quality of her surgery was excellent. The incision healed fine, she expressed no discomfort, and Dr. Billet was kind to my baby girl. 10/10 would gladly take my babies here again.

Just beginning to take our pups to Dr. Billet, but found in initial conversations that this is a vet that we are looking for - very much looks at our pups holistically, and her theories definitely line up with ours. I am positive the practice will be a great place for us in Sturgeon Bay.

Awesome, incredible place. They took us in last minute to look at our dogs ears. They could have charged an arm and a leg but they didn't. They were super friendly and compassionate.

These folks are FANTASTIC!!! We were on vacation and our senior cat was experiencing health issues. The Vet was very accommodating. Despite having three emergencies and a very hectic day they squeezed us in. Once there we found everyone to be compassionate, patient, knowledgeable and understanding. Dr. Sherry Billett spent a remarkable amount of time with us examining our cat Chester and explaining our options. She was the most thorough Vet I have ever visited. The following morning I received a phone call to check on Chester who seems to be responding well to his medications. Everyone in this office was kind, friendly and professional. We could not be more pleased with our visit to the Peninsula Veterinary Service. They treated us like royalty! When we move here for a permanent residence, these folks will definitely be our Veterinary service!!!

Thank you Dr. Billett and your wonderful staff. We were without a vet in Sturgeon Bay because only here part time, but had a very sick dog who needed treatment. The Peninsula Veterinary Clinic bent over backwards to fit him in between other patients, diagnosed his illlness and provided caring treatment. I'd highly recommend this clinic and doctor.

Peninsula has been our primary veterinary provider for the past five years, ever since our dog was a pup. He is a wonderful but high maintenance dog with food allergies, a tendency to eat bad things (dead stuff, goose poop and the like--he's a dog) and problems inherent in his breed and size. We have been very impressed by the care we receive at Peninsula. Everybody wants their pets to be admired and certainly Peninsula appreciates our dog. But it's more than that--they make room for us when we need help right away, they provide education and information on various problems, they sometimes suggest "low tech" answers that don't require prescription medication, they offer reassurance and they are highly organized and efficient. Cost of services is competitive. But most of all, they love animals and it shows in the care they deliver. We have another veterinary service we sometimes have to use when we are not in Door County and the difference in care is quite pronounced. We love PVS and the staff, all of whom work together to make a trip to the vet a five-star experience.

Really like the vet & vet tech. Friendly, kind, helpful. Blonde receptionist was a snob, not the twin blondes.

We spend the summers in Door Co and were looking for a local vet to take our dog and we were very pleased with the service we received from the entire staff at Peninsula Veterinary Service. Danielle at the reception desk was especially courteous and helpful, as was the vet tech that assisted us while we were there. Dr Sherry went out of her way to speak to our previous vet about our dog's condition, and she was considerate of both our dog's health, and our time. Overall a great experience, and we will be happy to bring our dog Jack back there anytime a vet is needed. Thanks again!
