Our Dog Bodee was operated on at another vet clinic and his cancer came back with in a few months ! We brought him here as we could see the cancer growing back fast ...we wanted to give it one more chance before we would have to decide to put him down” That was not an option in my heart ???? we trusted it would work this time !’ Sure enough the Vet was absolutely amazing with him and she explained it’s not guarantee it will work ! Had to put my cat down and they were awesome. A little pricey but I understand vet care is expensive. Afterwards they sent a nice card with very kind words and his little paw prints which meant the world. Definitely would recommend this place.

Very happy with my experience. I had to wait in my car because of the pandemic but otherwise it was fine. They treated my pet very well. They were very kind to her. The vet explained everything she was going to do before she did it. I felt confident that my pet was in competent hands.

The reason for my visit to Prairie Side was less than ideal but the staff here was amazing.. We unfortunately had to put to rest our 15 year old dog and as hard as that was the staff at Prairie side was extremely supportive and compassionate to the situation.. I would highly recommend them for any of your veterinary needs.

I recently became a dog mom of a lil 3 week old puppy, I was scarred didn’t know what to do called a few vet centers that rubbed me the wrong way I called prairie side they instantly got me in within 2 days of calling treated my puppy with care and love and they also eased my worries on how to keep her thriving to become a healthy happy puppy. Since the visit I have been so at ease my puppy is doing well super feisty but she’s healthy and loved and I am so grateful that this place helped me put my worries to the side great staff and the vet is amazing!!! Took my dog in for rabies shot then they said she needed a physical which they did and charged me for Crazy physical never addressed that my dog had three large bumps on her until I asked. She also has one eye that is an odd blue color which is probably a cataract also never address. They only wanted thousands of dollars to fix her teeth. Not touching my dog if they can’t address the simplest things with her health Would not recommend to any one Very disappointed

They took excellent care of my dog for 10 years and when it was time for her to move on they did it with dignity and care, allowed me all the time I needed alone with her and a very nice card from all the workers and a care package along with the ashes, I highly recommend prairie side veterinary and the doctor

Very kind, caring staff. Dr. Brenda Long is great and discusses treatment options, considering what you can afford. Dr. Ed Susmilch is also really great, and my very shy cat was fine with him, even after she heard a loud, happy Rottweiler barking in the hospital earlier and hid behind the trash can. Nice facility: used to be The Ground Round in the past, and has been remodeled well for veterinary hospital practice. Reasonable prices for pet care. The fact that they are open weekdays M-Th till 6 pm, Fri till 5, Sat 8-12, is extremely helpful for pet care visits after work & on weekends. My cat's first "new pet customer" office visit was $1. Hooray!

I was so silly and mixed the days up of my puppy’s first appointment to get his shots and instead of the 24th I showed up on the 25th and they were kind enough to still squeeze me in at the time. Dr. Long was very informative and the staff were all really sweet.

Polite but tried to sell an operation that another vet not needed. Not happy.

After seeing every doctor at this place fir 5 days my dog passed away because dr Dubiak misdiagnosed. I STRONGLY URGE EVERYBODY NOT TO GO TO PRAIRIE SIDE VET HOSPITAL IN RACINE OR KENOSHA.

The staff are very informative and caring.

The vet staff and veterinarian ate great. They listen, explain, and treat you with respect. They treat your animal with tenderness and care. The best in Racine. They have regular scheduled appointments, were others have walk-in appointments only. They understand financial issues also.

Dr Long takes amazing care of my Frenchies, Pudge and Tinkerbell. They have good rates and the staff is amazing as well. I highly recommend this vet.

Amazing vet! My baby just had surgery on his ACL still recovering at this point but they did a great job so far. Check up after surgery are free. They really care about your fur baby's! Love them!

Dr Long and the entire staff treat my Pudge like he is their own. I'm extremely pleased with that whole group.
