Belle City Veterinary Hospital Sc Racine, Wisconsin

Called to get more of Belle City's prescription specialized Food for my Elderly Dad's 2 cats. The Rep on the phone scolded me stating that, "He was told he needed to bring the cats in for an Exam before we could give him more food." I explained I am not bonded with the pair enough to entrap them right now and my Dad is having Health Issues. She replied, "Well we told him in Sept and December." I explained I understood, I just needed more time. So now the cat's food has been switched at the drop of a hat, I tried to get the closest I could to it and they aren't eating very much. Not only are these cats traumatized having a their favorite person down, but also having me there and their food changed. These are sad times, apparently more than a decade's worth of loyalty and compassion means nothing to this office.

Absolutely the finest veterinarian care in the greater Racine area. We have two dogs, each with unique needs. No matter who the provider is at Belle City on the day we visit, we leave with a clear understanding of our pets' health and an actionable plan to support them. My understanding is that it has been the same owners at this particular practice for many years. It is clear that they have excellent standards for themselves and their employees, and the level of care that they provide for our pets is immeasurable.

I have taken my pets to Belle City for years but over the past couple years, I feel the quality of care and compassion has decreased immensely. The staff are not friendly, the doctors seem rushed, and no one really seems like they care, just want to get you in/out as fast as possible. Recently my dog passed away several hours after being seen in the clinic. My dog had an obstruction but Belle City told me he had a "tumor" they sent me home with meds and told me to watch him. I had to take him to an emergency vet not even an hour later who explained my dog had a much more serious condition than the "tumor" Belle City claimed he had. In addition to giving me an incorrect diagnosis and unnecessary meds/fluids in the clinic, there was absolutely zero condolences when I interacted with the clinic, several times after my dog passed. I would caution anyone seeking care at this facility that you can expect to encounter unfriendly assistants, feel rushed and unable to get concerns addressed, and hopefully not, but the chance of misdiagnosis like me.

We have been going to Belle City for more years that I can count. We always had professional, caring, knowledgeable vets. We especially like Dr Livingston. Really though all the Vets, assistants, and staff ate excellent. We recommend this clinic. I especially like the new appt only status. You don't have to wait and checkout goes a lot smoother.

Eric, the vet tech, was awesome at addressing some behavioral issues we were having with our new kitten. His advice has already started to help.

Won't be going back. First they misdiagnosed the tapeworm in my dog's stool as "negative" in an email to me when I made sure there was plenty of tapeworm in the stool. A few days later they called back and said to pick up the meds and that she did have worms. And then, my poodle looking dog got labeled as a chihuahua mix on my invoice. Not sure what's happening there but we won't be returning. We appreciate the meds that cleared her up though so thank you for doing that for us!

I LOVE this clinic!! The staff are so friendly & take such great care especially with my crazy dramatic husky! Quick response times for urgent needs, high quality care, easy to make appointments& all the staff/ doctors take time with you & your pet! Highly recommend this place!!

Affordable, knowledgeable, and caring!! My cat loves it at Belle City. They've even performed a life-saving operation on my dad's dog, and because he is a disabled veteran and couldn't afford it, they did it FOR FREE!!!! Can't say enough amazing things about Belle City!

Couldn’t have picked a better vet in racine! To start off our puppy was 7 months old and had broken 1 of her adult teeth we were really concerned and wanted to get it fixed asap so we called a few vets around town asking for estimates. I was really happy out of all the places i took my dog here to get an exam with a quote which was so good i was instantly relieved. With luna being my first dog i didnt know what to expect so the fact that we got such a good price with really caring staff i knew this is where i would be bringing my dog forever! My sister recently got a puppy and started bringing her to belle city and has nothing but good things to say. Their pet desk app is so handy i can request appointments plus keep track of what vaccines or checkups my dog needs next. I am grateful with how much belle city cares about their customers.

Amazing! Our service dogs suddenly seemed ill and when nobody else could get us in ASAP, they did!! The veterinarian who saw us was sweet, caring and thorough! I will definitely return to her! Not a brand new facility but clean. Our dogs are feeling back to normal. Price point was very reasonable.
