Always nice and have what I need

I've been using Friends of Nature for my primary source of food for my dogs for some time now. I'm sad to write this review because I gave this store a lot of chances and wanted to write off the bad experiences I continued to have here. But in my time coming here my orders were constantly misplaced, nobody ever really seemed to know what was going on or even how much to charge me for my product, the staff aren't very friendly (and I say this is consistent with my multiple experiences, not just a bad day sort of situation) and when there were issues I wasn't given solutions to the problems. I don't really like writing bad reviews like this but I hope this either helps the store to improve their customer experiences for the future or make positive changes.

The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful with any needs. The owner is VERY knowledgeable and never hesitates to stop what she's doing to help answer questions that are a bit more advanced. Everyone is fantastic and I refuse to shop anywhere else since I walked in their door. Highly recommend. *My puppy Cruze gives all paws up and says they have they best treats!*

If you don't want to wear a mask as employers- at this point I really don't even care. But if you're going to be clearly rude and snotty towards the PAYING customers you have coming into your store because they're wearing a mask is gross to me. Glad they didn't have what I needed, know for the future not to return. ????

This store has permanently lost my business with their unwillingness to wear masks.

Wisconsin has a mask mandate and it is common courtesy to abide by it, but unfortunately this store does not do so. I used to shop here often. I will take my business to a pet store that shows humanity toward others.

Store is clean. Dog food selection is fine. Ordinarily I would rate this store higher. My complaint is that now (Jan, 2021) with all we know about the pandemic, the clerks refuse to wear masks around customers. When I asked why, I was told by the 30 some year old clerk, "We choose freedom." I told her I choose not to be on a respirator or in a body bag. I'm in my 70s. She couldn't have cared less. If they won't wear a mask at work, they probably are going to bars & parties too. For my safety, I'm not going back. If you're concerned, avoid this store.

BEST small pet store!! Quality pet products from A to Z! I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years and truly appreciate their staff and their knowledge base. Always friendly, helpful, and courteous! Kaye- the manager is always available to answer any questions you have and her knowledge and advice on dog food/supplements is extensive! I like supporting local small businesses v.s big chain stores!

The only place I go for all my puppy’s needs! Everyone there is so helpful and knowledgeable also super friendly! It’s so nice to see their smiling faces every time we come in! It’s run by an excellent manager and we wouldn’t shop anywhere else!

They are always very accommodating in special ordering my cat food.

Their prices are very good even compared to online retailers, the variety is good (especially when it comes to freeze dried and raw), and they support dog sports like weight pull. They welcome our club every year and it's much appreciated. Edited to add: One year later, still the same. They carry the premium brands and are still comparable to the bigger online retailers. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We shop there almost exclusively for our pet care needs even though it's about a 35 minute drive for us.

Great place! People and pet friendly. All the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. They care alot about the work they do and providing the best customer service possible. Management does a great job of keeping everything needed for a pet in stock. You wont find any gimmick products and unhealthly food or treats for your pet. It's so nice knowing that when I go there some great people with common sense are there to help me!

Found the staff to be rude, snotty and not helpful. I definitely felt like they did not have time for me. Even though the store was empty. When asking about, or for, a product, staff just pointed and said it is over there. No specific questions about what I needed. Not helpful with bringing a heavy load to the car, just "it helps of you pop a wheelie" as you push the cart out of the store since the entrance isn't flush and there is a bump. Reward program is offered, save $20 after you spend over $450.00. Why bother?

Love this pet store! Super friendly employees every time I go in. They give me advice when needed and point out the new items. Ive been going there for years! My dog loves coming in and picking out toys and treats!

This is a casual family owned pet store with everything from wild bird feed to horse feed and barn supplies. They specialize is high quality pet foods for dogs and cats and ate very knowledgeable.

I get my birdseed there. They are friendly, good people and will even load your purchases it into your car for you.

Very friendly service and lots of good products for an honest price.
