I brought my new puppy here for his first checkup. They were very kind and gentle to my pup and gave me a lot of information to help me. I'm happy I took him there. The doctor and staff are wonderful.

Friendly staff and informative doctor. Place was clean and comfortable. Dr took the time to explain and demonstrate things I'm not familiar with, which I am very grateful for.

I love this vet clinic! Staff is so nice and Dr. Dan is always compassionate and knowledgable. Pricing is very fair, wait times are minimal and reasonable. Just can't say enough about the great care they've shown my little Yorkie mix, Chewy. He's had a rough year, and they've helped to make it better! Thank you!

Explained when I made the appointment I did not funds for same day visit. Jackie was very polite and helpful just what I needed and what they thought were on different pages. After exams, blood work, and a host of medicines, I was tole balance of services and medicine. I looked at them stating I needed a budget plan. Was asked if I had money to put down, I told them no I didn't. They explained what I needed was a budget before services were performed. When Jackie read what is in folder I told her I did not want a budget before services but be placed on one once they had a final bill. Over 20 minutes needlessly wasted. The total amount for all meds was over $300 and again asked how I wanted to pay. Problem was not resolved, medication was held back and blood work also held back. Some will not have results until all medicines and services are paid for. Now my cat will suffer 1 because I failed him for poor quality of care 2 unable to pay for meds and services. I sit here crying because my baby may die because of no funds. My stupidity and being poor.

I was happy with this place for a long time. Took my first dog here for 5 years. Always responsive when I called and saw him same day when urgent things came up (kennel cough, pneumonia). Sadly that dog passed away. Took my new puppy there. When my new puppy was 5-1/2 months old, he developed a cough. I figured again, kennel cough. I called as soon as the office opened (Friday a.m.). I was told there were no openings until Monday. Unacceptable. I inquired about the acute visits they hold open. The receptionist gave an excuse that didn’t really hold up. I think she said they were taken already (but office had just opened??). She said she’d ask doctor if he would prescribe antibiotic to get us through to Monday (which I was fine with). 5 minutes later she called back and said no, he would not prescribe anything until he sees him and will not see him until Monday. I told her in that case, we would find a new vet as this isn’t acceptable. I DID find a new vet who had several appointments available on Saturday as well as Sunday. Ultimately he was diagnosed with kennel cough and bronchitis (X-ray confirmed). Don’t get me wrong WAVC is great when they’re “available”. But when you have a situation requiring immediate care and they can’t get you in for 3-4 days. Unacceptable. Had I waited this easily could have turned into pneumonia. Their answer to go to emergency animal hospital isn’t appropriate either (that’s why I have a regular vet, to handle his illnesses as they occur). If it’s a case of not having enough staff, then they should add on as needed.

Took my kitty in for a second opinion. He had a full exam, blood work and x rays dental. My kitty wasn't eating and was throwing up and losing weight. How the hell the doctor missed a huge mass in his stomach is beyond me. If you want to go to a real vet go to Evervet. The doctor there found the huge mass that was smashing my kitties organs. The doctor should have caught this. The receptionists are very rude, the doctor very rushed. All they see I guess is $$$$.$$

So, I though you guys do walk-ins.. But you don't do walk-ins at all. Was really looking forward to bringing my dog in. Since I just moved up here. I was told you guys don't. So now I'm rethinking my thoughts on coming here..

Friendly and polite workers, intuitive and intellectual care for pets. VERY CLEAN. The clinic also displays brochures and informative flipbooks or pictures along front wall near the receptionist station. I really liked the jars set up which had preserved parasites inside which carried disease inside an animal leading to medicine to cure sickness in dogs and cats. A VERY good place, especially if you enjoy learning and understanding importance vs. Priorities when taking care of your own pet at a fair price.

I have been bringing my pets here for many years! Always a good experience and doesn't matter if you haven't been there for a few years they will see your pet the next day if needed, not a month or longer like some vets! Thank you West Allis Veterinary Clinic!

I call to make an appointment for my new puppy. They got me in immediately when all other vets were booked out for months. Very fast and efficient in and out in 15 mins. My puppy was given medication and prescription dog food for her tummy issues. Thank you for your help and quick service:)
