Had dogs nails cut good job

One of my dogs was trained here and did very well, so we decided to bring our dogs here for the weekend while we were away. They came home exhausted, and injured from walking on gravel. One of the dogs hasn't eaten at all since getting back, and we noticed some blood in her mouth. The dogs have raw, red paws from the gravel, are limping, and just aren't acting like themselves. You need to keep a better eye on the dogs.

Just about every single week i hear new and horrible things about this place! From dogs dieing in their care to them being such a dirty facility that people's pets come home with giardia, fleas, injuries, etc. AVOID this place at all cost! Honestly don't know how this place hasn't been shut down!

My pup loves going to doggy daycare!! He loves all of the staff. He always comes home tired out from all of the playing and socializing he does!

The training class with Pat was exceptional- value, results, fun! The return on time invested is immeasurable. Pat is an expert. He is entertaining, informative, and engaging- just a complete pro. We got our 8 month old Beagle-jack russell terrier mix from a re home. She has alot of issues with seperation anxiety and mouthing. We started taking her to day care at Pet U and this has helped her confidence alot. Thank you staff

We checked PetU's Facebook page everyday we were away and saw great pictures of our dog❤ to reassure us that he was happy and being taken care of.

My grandparents and I have our fox red lab in training here. Pat, the trainer, is very friendly and helpful. Gunner - the puppy - has gotten so much better in the past few weeks with weekly training session. He is now much more attentive to us, walks very nicely on a leash, does "down", and we are currently working on "stay" which is already starting to come along after just the first time doing it in class. Pat is very helpful and gives you helpful criticism which works wonderfully. He explains everything so that you understand why you are doing something instead of just telling you what to do. I highly recommend PetU if you are looking to get your dog well-trained at a quality place. We haven't used their other services, but everything seems wonderful and the employees are very friendly. We love it!

Highly recommend one-on-one training with Pat. He has an amazing understanding of the psychology of dogs. He was able to show us great training techniques, along with providing insight on how to properly work with our pup. With patience and practice, we have seen a huge change in only a matter of weeks. Worth the time and effort!!

The people at Pet U are amazing. I have lived in many cities and Pet U is by far the best place I have ever taken my dog. They are detailed, caring, attentive and I could go on and on. This is a 2nd home for Benny and we simply love Pet U and the staff.

I used Pet U for training my adult dog Finn. We rescued him at age 3. He’s a 65 lb shepherd mix. He was destructive and pulled like crazy on leash. Pat is an amazing trainer and because no one else signed up for their adult dog training class, we got one on one training! Pat was very thorough and patient with me as I learned along with Finn. After 6 weeks of training, Finn is a whole new dog. He comes when called, does not pull on leash and actually listens to me. I just adopted another adult dog and Pet U is my first stop for training!

Love them and they love my dogs. Wouldn't take my pups anywhere else.

Always take such great care of my dog!

I boarded my miniature golden-doodle for the weekend with PetU. We had an emergency and our normal place was full. As soon as we walked in to drop him off we noticed the stench. When we picked him up a day and a half later he reeked and had poop everywhere. He was so dirty it felt like he had oil in his hair and looked so depressed I wanted to cry. Never again!

The people at PetU really love dogs! They take great care of our German Shepherd when we board him there. The training is awesome and works! Pat (the trainer) uses corrections (using a training/pinch collar is recommended) to make the dogs understand what you want them to do and it works great.

My dog cannot get in the door fast enough each morning! He loves his playtime!

Utilized their doggy daycare service for around a week while work was being done on my home, the lack of a commitment and utilization requirement made it easy to have them watch her only as much as I needed. She genuinely enjoyed her experience and always seemed happy to go back. Staff was courteous and friendly, they remembered and recognized my dog and I, and I feel like the price was a good value. Facility seemed to be clean and run well, and they were honest about my dog's behavior. I'll certainly be using them in the future if I need daycare services/boarding, and may have to bring her back from time to time to help with her socialization.

I took my dog there for training and it was the best thing I did for him. Great place and the staff is very friendly.

Our youngest dog just completed the board and train program. We are thrilled with her results. Hannah and the entire staff was great to work with. I really appreciated the staff's patience with my daily calls. We look forward to taking our 2 youngest to the MKE location for daycare starting this week. Thanks PETU!

My dog, Sasha, loves this place for Doggie Day Care. Each time I ask her do you want to go to Doggie Day Care to play with the other dogs, she is excited. It is a safe play environment for dogs, that is very reasonable. A 4 1/2 day package is only $56.

Update 2: After being called a liar by Norka who is supposedly an employee of Pet-U due to expressing my experience with Pet-U on facebook, I felt an update was necessary. In the end we did not utilize Pet-U for the training of our dog and we decided to no longer board him at Pet-U. Our decision behind this was due to the attitude of the general staff we had encountered and the information that hit the local news regarding a dog that was attacked and died while in the care of Pet-U. While we have full confidence in Dennis, the reality is there was no way that he could be there 24/7 to supervise the staff. Now having been attacked by Norka and her numerous libelous statements, I feel that our decision not to utilize Pet-U has only further been supported as the best choice we could have made for our pet. I would advise anyone considering Pet-U to do so with extreme caution. Update 1: Received a call from Dennis (the owner) who was very sincere and apologetic for what we had experienced so far. It was very evident that he really cared about making things right and would do what he could to correct the situation. It is understandable that oversights can happen and I truly appreciate Dennis's desire to correct the disappointments we had experienced. We were able to schedule a training evaluation with him directly and are looking forward to seeing what they can do for our dog. Original: Very unhappy with Pet-U at the moment. I called the Milwaukee location on 11/27 and set up an appointment to have our dog evaluated for a board and train session on 12/18. The male employee I spoke with took my credit card number over the phone as you have to pay in advance and told me everything was all set and that they would have a receipt for me on the day of the appointment. Went there today for the appointment and was told by a female employee that they had nothing scheduled for us and no record of an appointment ever being made. This is after I called last week to confirm the appointment and was told by a male employee that everything was set and good to go. The female employee today offered no apology, no explanation, nothing, and I was spoken to like my being there I was an inconvenience to her. I requested that the employee have the owner call me personally within the next 48 hours as I am very unhappy with our experience and how we were treated. Should he do so and offer an acceptable apology and solution for what has happened I will be more than happy to write and updated review. Until then I am now left to call my bank and cancel the card number I originally gave them as I have concerns about their employee taking my card number and not processing it for the training appointment as they stated they would.

My experience with Pet U was amazing. I rescued a 2 year old pit with a lot of anxiety and aggression towards other dogs and would bare teeth at any person that seemed a threat to him. I picked him up the other day and he is a changed dog! The staff is so friendly and make you feel like your dog is being loved and given just as much attention than at home. Its hard to leave your dog for three weeks at an unknown place, but I couldn't be happier with the results. I recommend!! I couldn't have kept my pup without the help of Pet U! So happy!
