From start to finish we had the best communication and adoption! His foster home was very caring and knowlegable of Bear and he has adjusted to his new family and home perfectly! He is such a good boy, and we love him!

I went through Adopt-a-Pet.com which brought me to them. They have a lot of pets and I found a couple I think we can handle. Site was easy to use and more.

The whole process was easy and quick. I like adopting fosters because I know so much ahead of time. I've kept in touch with her foster dad and he's a big help.

All the staff were super helpful during the dog meet and greet event we went too. Very knowledgeable about individual dogs and their behavior/needs/likes/etc.

Lovely experience! Calm and clean, swift process to adopt my new "fuzzy son". Plenty of information on him from before and all contained for easy access. You can tell they care about the dogs that come through there, and the people who are involved as well. If you are looking for a dog, I highly, highly recommend Lucky Mutts!!

I can only speak about what I know, and all I know about them is that they helped us rehome our dog when we became physically unable to care for him any longer. For that alone, I am very grateful.

Good place to get a rescue dog. Loving compassionate group will take in dogs, assess, train, find a good home for them.

I have never been so heartbroken and insulted in my life. Saw this gorgeous girl online that had been in foster care for two months. Saw that they were having a meet and greet and she was one of the dogs you could meet. I went with my family and meet this sweet girl. They tried pushing us away from her saying they have other dogs “like” her. First off we weren’t there to look for a dog like her. I fell in love with this dog and wanted to give her a forever home. The foster mom of the dog arrived to pick her up and all but ripped the leash from my hands. Said she wouldn’t be the right match for us. But the people there said if we are still interested to give ‘Sarah’ a call on Wednesday to see where our application was. I had emailed her which was picked up by the foster mom caring for the dog and she told us again that she wasn’t the right match for my “young family” also went on to say that my dog that I have already rescued was aggressive and we need to take him to behavioral classes and figure out his “issues” before taking in another dog. I’m absolutely bewildered that they are quick to judge a dog that they have never met and never once said he has growled at us or my kids. Come to find out that they may have misunderstood my boyfriend when he was trying to explain that he had trained a dog that was considered aggressive. I tried clearing the air and the foster mom still said I need to figure out my dogs issues and work with my small kids with how to treat a dog. Beg your pardon???? My one year old daughter doesn’t really know any better. We have been working with her on how to pet nicely but she is only one. And my husky has not once growled or bared his teeth at us. He shows no sign of any aggression and have no idea where they are getting this. At this point it’s not about fighting for a dog that a foster seems to not want to give up but fighting for my own dog and sticking up for him. Absolutely disrespectful place!!! Probably won’t try adopting from here again and urge others not to to avoid this heartbreak and disrespect

I approve of this place's adoption process, but the home visit is completely unnecessary.

Our experience with Lucky Mutts was perfect. The staff was amazing, kind and knowledgeable from our very first contact, to the joy of taking home our adopted rescue, Daisy. We've always had dogs, but this was our first rescue. I am certain that they found the best dog in the world for us. We could not be more thrilled. Thank you, Lucky Mutts!♥️

I want to fill out an adoption application.

Three weeks after filling out an application, we received an email confirming they received our application. 6 weeks later still waiting for approval or non approval. This site requires you apply for a specific animal. When I check the sight now, the sweet, precious puppy we really wanted as a family member is no longer on thier site.

Wonderful staff and foster parents, the pups are healthy and well documented on. I love our new addition to our family even after just 24 hours. She doesnt want to leave me or our other baby who is also a rescue. Thank you Lucky Mutts
