I absolutely love my Marley Charley Bear, he is now 4yrs old and brings me so much joy we love to sing together whatever song I make up he is right there to sing back. Our newest song is to the young and the restless theme when it comes on, as soon as he hears it he comes from wherever he is in the house and we sing. I would definitely recommend a Pup from preppy pups, they're the best.

Really cute affordable healthy dogs

We recently adopted a puppy from Preppy Pups. Here are several important points I want to make: 1.) Clean facility 2.) Puppies are well taken care of 3.) Puppies are vet checked 4.) Our guy was off to a great start with socialization 5.) The puppies are happy 6.) Designer breeds that are affordable I would recommend Preppy Pups to anyone looking for a small breed pup. Thank you for a positive experience!

Teddy was on clearance when I purchased him, he was a mess and needed a hair cut and a bath. He are baby now after two years , but he does have allergies, and sometimes I don’t think he hears me, and I think he is still afraid a lot of things.

We love preppy pups and we love our Maggie we purchased in April this year 2020 . Most wonderful loving dog in the universe kisses everyday , almost 1 years old and still a lover and sweetest dog..then we purchased Murphy New Year’s Day 2021 .Black and White Teddybear , very lovable and always happy.

Preppy Pups is the place to go for anyone who's ready to provide a great home to a wonderful puppy. We made two trips to the store this weekend and Sandy was incredibly patient and helpful with my two young daughters and my wife who was fighting allergies. You can tell they really care about their puppies and what homes they end up in. You definitely won't get that feel from any of the big box pet stores. Don't overthink it and just go to Preppy Pups for your next little puppy friend.

I’ll preface thus review by saying, I am not a customer of Preppy pups. My family and I spent over 3 months attempting to purchase a puppy from Terri. The truth is Terri breeds adorable dogs, however her business practices leave little to be desired. Be forewarned that if you are seeking to make an informed decision about your purchase preppy pups is not for you. Recently, she posted “ available” puppies on her website. I attempted to call, email , all to see the next morning the dog being held for someone. When she finally answered an email.. she cut and pasted a canned response telling me about deposits etc. and how to attempt to get a dog. I have never worked so hard to give someone $2200! If you want to be disappointed and literally have a second job of stalking a pet store, calling phone numbers with no VM, and responses as if you are just first calling then this is the place for you. Buying a dog is a huge commitment.. not luck of the draw. The only thing I’ve got for my families investment in time in preppy pups is a sad 11 year old and 8 yr old... thanks Terri! 5/14/21 following day update: While looking for another breeder I came across Terri’s second site on line selling the same dogs set up as a completely separate business. If she has promised you something or says there are dogs available... they are, and you are competing with whomever will give her the $ first.

We have gotten 2 of the sweetest, cutest and fun-loving puppies from Preppy Pups! So worth the money! ❤

The customer service was amazing ..can’t remember the lady’s name.. but she was the best, so knowledgeable and very friendly. She also was very direct and protective of the pups. The store was so clean , the puppies looked so happy . I appreciate that!!!! Thanks for the wonderful experience.

I like this place cause if u looking for a small puppy this is the place u would want to visit.well the one lady I deal with is very friendly and she make u feel well she give u the details about the puppy or puppies u are interested in and the prices is high but to me it’s worth it if they giving them they shots and all that and make sure their health befor u get them then it’s worth it . So like I said if u are looking for another family member to add to your family cause I Really consider my puppy as part of the family.then u might want to check them out and the place is clean and in order

A HUGE thank you to Preppy Pups, and all that you do for your puppies. Tomorrow is our one year anniversary of adopting Penelope, and she is the love of our lives. She is sweet, has a great temperament, and is so incredibly lovable.

I am very happy with the purchase of my puppy! I took him to the Vet and he’s healthy! I would like to thank Terri for being very kind and knowledgeable! We adopted our Sweet little Boris this weekend and it could not have been a smoother experience. If possible, I’d suggest getting there early. There was just one other couple in the store so we were able to play with the puppies and ask questions to see who would be the best fit for our home. Terri was fantastic with answering questions and providing information for our baby boy! Boris is super smart and doing great with his crate and potty training after just a few days. You can tell they care about their pups, and we are so happy ❤️

Preppy Pups was a great place to buy our first puppy! The puppies were very healthy and cared for. Sandy was very helpful and answered all questions we had! These people really want to find the best family for their pets so I definitely recommend them!

My first time here. I enjoyed looking and petting some of the the pups. The gated area in the middle is good for the dogs to run around and throw toys for them to catch. The young woman at the desk is very smart and knows every pups personality

Bought my ShihTzu puppy there on Sat.place was clean girl there was nice and very helpful answered all my questions and this puppy is so smart,well behaved and was very clean.i couldn't be happier! Thank you Preppy Pups!

I bought my teddy bear about a week ago and I cannot express how smoothly , informative and delightful my experience was from beginning to end. The woman working at the store was very pleasant and she made it very clear she wanted to make sure the dogs leave with their right match and vice versa. Unfortunately they do not take deposits over the phone(only in person) so after talking to the woman twice on the phone about this beautiful puppy i decided to leave work early and drive from Lincoln park in Chicago to Milwaukee. I couldn't pass this opportunity up with pricing and opportunity. They even put the dog on hold for me while I made my trip! The puppy was everything I thought she would be; Perfect. Not many places have this tier of personable/knowledgeable customer service anymore so it was a breath of fresh air. I would recommend this place to my friends and family and look forward to coming back in the future for another puppy <3 thank you guys so much for the addition to my family.

Best place for puppies! Very friendly and knowledgeable. They have healthy happy puppies because they care about them. Also better prices than every where we looked!

Simple process, trustworthy breeder, wonderful puppy, fairly priced! Communication could use a slight improvement, but otherwise highly recommended.

First I would like to say that their website is wonderfully done. They have a lot of helpful information and we didn’t have many questions besides being interested in one of the puppies. My mother was emailing “Terri” about the puppy and was told she was still available and that it was hard finding this particular puppy a home because of her size. We would be traveling almost two hours to meet this puppy and potentially adopt her. So we make the trip and go inside where we see the puppy we were so interested in! Immediately the “manager” said that someone was traveling over an hour away to come get her and that she is on hold. My mother said yeah that’s me, I have been in contact with Terri about the puppy. Apparently this “manager” was talking about another woman who was traveling to see her and “was certain she was going to adopt her”. The “manager” said that Terri would have told her if someone was coming in to see a dog but that she had not. My mother said that she could show her the emails and how she has been in contact for over a week prior to us coming up there. This “manager” was walking away and saying that she is the manager and she would have been informed of someone wanting to put a hold on the dog. Now I read another review that said you have to physically come into the facility to put a deposit/hold down on a dog and I highly doubt this woman who was coming in, came in prior to put a hold on the dog. My mother was visibly upset as you could tell she so dearly wanted this puppy, she walked out crying. We were also told that you cannot bring in your dog for a meet and greet but in the email it states that they are very welcome to! So we wait for the woman who is coming to see the puppy and once the family got there the man asked if she had restrooms. The “manager” stated she did but wasn’t allowing anyone to use them because of this virus. He walked out and she said “he is a grown adult he should be able to hold his pee”, mind you there were other people in this facility and I heard her clear as day across the room. I thought that was very rude. She also answered the phone multiple times as it was ringing nonstop but when my mom called all this week it just rang and rang. I also heard her making comments when answering people’s questions about my mom and saying she didn’t want to make anyone else mad today. Again, I thought this was rude as well. The facility says the people match these puppies to potential adopters and I think she was more interested in selling puppies and getting the money than she was matching them. These potential adopters barely interacted with this puppy, the husband most definitely didn’t give her a second look. I overheard the son say he didn’t want to be there. Clearly the woman who came to see her was so back and forth about the dog and couldn’t make up her mind as she kept leaving and coming back so unsure what to do before her husband said just get the dog if you want it, while they were outside. I talked with the potential adopters outside and the woman said she just wants a dog that will stay small. The “manager” was so busy trying to shove puppies down the throats of the other people that she clearly didn’t match this puppy very well. On top of all of that this so called manager told my mother she was mean. We brought our dog and traveled two hours to adopt this puppy that we were under the impression no one was interested in or even have a hold on. This was the worst experience we have ever had. To add, this place was an empty room with folding tables lining the walls of the place with wire cages on top. I would compare it to a garage sale of puppies. The “manager” said that the woman could meet the parents of the puppy but they are more than two hours away. Overall I’m pretty sure this whole facility is a scam to get you into the facility to be told you can’t have the puppy you want but in hopes that you will buy a different one while you’re there. When you know in your gut that something isn’t right, it’s best to leave. Which is exactly what we did. Poor puppies.

Thank you terri for giving us a new fur baby! Terri was very helpful and patient with all of our questions. All pups seem very healthy and well cared for. We love our boy Rockie ❤
