Friendly professional place that loves dogs

So far, my dog seems to enjoy her time at Happy Paws. The staff has been mostly helpful. My critique comes in with the use of the online portal to make reservations and deposits. There seems to be a lag of time between submitting documents and when the business actually receives and processes them. If you need to make a reservation online, you're better off calling the business directly. I've noticed this as the aspect of their day-to-day that could use some attention. It's important that all pieces of the business puzzle are in working condition so everyone can be on the same page, get the reservations made and continue on with the day. Happy Paws is a friendly and fun place for your dog, once you can actually get the dog registered correctly.

Our amstaff Herbie has been going there for a year and he usually comes home tired. They're also 20% cheaper than most places in the mke area. 10/10 would recommend

Took my dog here after the Tosa location was a disappointment. This place was MUCH better! My dog's groom was awesome, she did such a good job, and the staff were super friendly and caring!! Well definitely be coming back here. The play area also looked great so I'll be enrolling my dog in daycare if possible (once he recovers from his surgery).

The owner and employees are always pleasant. They are there greeting each dog with Care. I feel very confident and comfortable that the dogs are all tended to and treated well during the day. There is a really fun outdoor area for them to run and play as well as indoors. Highly recommend this place!

Took our dog for a groom. When we picked her up she was already in her carrier (she’s a small dog), so we paid and took her home. Once we had a good look at her at home, we saw she had a cut on her snout. We called Happy Paws to ask what happened and they said “the groomer didn’t put any notes in the system” so they had no idea. They also stated the groomer had gone home so they couldn’t ask them. Extremely unprofessional, didn’t own up to their mistakes, or offer any remedies for our dog. We understand things happen, dogs move while getting their face trimmed, accidents happen. That wasn’t our issue. It was the lack of knowledge and accountability from this business that disappointed us.

It came highly recommend to me and I would highly recommend it to anyone else! Great staff and an incredible facility, everything from the swimming pool to the local artwork on the walls!

Friendly staff that truly cares about the animals. Has multiple zones so dogs of different sizes and energy levels can stay together for safer play, including outside places if the weather is nice. On site grooming that is well priced and convenient, especially if they're there for the day. Get the group plan, it's worth it and let's you save a little over a while.

We had an urgent situation with our incredibly anxious dog and the Happy Paws crew went OUT OF THEIR WAY to take care of him. They treated him well, made him comfortable and made us comfortable knowing he was in good hands. Everyone working with him truly cared about him and his needs, which was amazing! We would recommend Happy Paws to anyone!!

Took my sister's dog for a groom, the grooming was quick and just what we asked for. Very kind employees! Totally recommend!

Not sure who answered when I called but was calling for information on grooming. Seemed short and annoyed to be answering questions. Not a great first impression.

I have two small dogs, I scheduled one of them earlier in December 2019 with Happy Paws Grooming since her usual groomer was booked up. I got her back and things seemed fine, she had some hairs that were longer than others but I thought no big deal. I scheduled my other dog for 12/28 at 9am. I arrived just before 9 and had to wait a little past 9 for them to open the doors. I left my dog with them and two hours later received a phone call, I assumed it was to pick up my freshly groomed dog. The guy who called me told me it was going to be two more hours because the groomer didn't show up due to an emergency but she was now on her way. I asked where my dog was and why no one contacted me sooner. My dog was in a kennel for the two hours, this frustrated me because I didn't drop her off to be put in a kennel and because it was inconsiderate of them to wait two hours to call me to tell me their groomer wasn't there. I went right away and picked up my dog. I meant to write this review much earlier but life gets in the way. I am writing it now because I dropped my other dog off who was groomed by happy paws, today with her usual groomer. It broke my heart to see that she was shaken and didn't want to be left. She has NEVER acted this way with her groomer. I remembered that the last time she was groomed was with Happy Paws. I don't know what happened with Happy Paws and I hope they treat all dogs with care but seeing my dog like that this morning makes me question what exactly happened at Happy Paws. Based off of my experience with them, I'd recommend taking your dog else where.

HUGE giardia break out at this daycare since about mid January. I was told over 25 dogs have contracted Giardia and/or the antigen. Fecal testing and medication for this is pricey, and the facility won’t even do extra cleaning to get rid of it.

The team members there truly love animals and show them nothing but kindness and love❤ it's not a job to them it's their passion, and it shows

Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a dog daycare or kenneling. Friendly staff, well kept, and tons of indoor and outdoor play areas. I love that I can see my pup playing through my phone. Cute boutique inside and they even offer grooming if needed.

This was my first time taking my dog princess there for a groom and nail trim. She loves car rides but she was really anxious not knowing ware she was going but after her appointment she was so happy that she was groomed and nails trim that she was so calm on the ride home like never before. I'm shure she will want to come back to play some day. Loop po

Our furr babies have stayed for doggy daycare and boarding several times now. We love this paw loving family and staff! We feel our pupps are very well taken care of here and always have a great time with other puppers. It is great to see the same faces remember and greet our dogs when we arrive, even sometimes with several months in between visits. The prices are very reasonable given the great care and services. Nail trim services are convenient and also very well priced. You can also check on your pupps via an app and see them thru the security cameras. Highly recommend!

In anticipation of extensive travel, I purchased a 30 pack of daycare passes. After using one daycare pass, they sent an email stating there was a giardia parasite outbreak. Several days later, a second email was sent stating that all dogs would have to be tested and a negative result produced before they would be allowed back. My dog tested positive. The two tests and treatment cost me $250 dollars and I was unable to utilize the daycare services while I was traveling. I phoned and asked about a refund for my unused 29 daycare passes. The owner stated that they do not give refunds. He went on to say that the dog that started the spread of the parasite was allowed on premise because the dog's owner had presented a forged document from the vet. I find this lack of verification unacceptable. The website does indeed state that packages are not refundable. The website also states that they provide a "safe" environment. Failing to verify the authenticity of a statement of health from of a vet feels to me like gross negligence. They continue to refuse to refund my package and I continue to feel that they are not providing a safe environment for my dog. Zero stars.

Updated Review: Michael gave extra attention to my pups to make sure their stay went well. This included giving my older dog his medication every evening. It’s fun to be able to watch the dogs playing on the cameras. My dogs did get sick after staying but I guess that is the risk you take mixing dogs all together in one enclosed area. They are fortunately doing better now which is what matters to me. Michael was very responsive and Shawn reached out as well to make sure they are doing alright.

They cut my dog on the first visit, and on the second visit they hurt his right back leg.my dog is still walking with a limp and this was three months ago. They knew they hurt him and didn't say a word.but still charged me full price. 06/20/2020. I never missed a appointment but today I was late and the guy that answer the phone was rude he didn’t even want me to come in. He tried to make me wait until September.

First time using this business. Kenneled my dogs for a week. The dogs seem to have a good time there, when I pick them up they were tired. However, it seems their camera systems are experiencing some technical difficulties. As a dog parent, I was a little bit apprehensive not being able to see my dogs. Other than that outstanding service would recommend.
