My husband and I just drove up here over the weekend for work and unfortunately my dog has been experiencing some discomfort/ pain the past day an a half. Online it says they open at 7:30am M-F and that you have to have a appointment for weekends. That being said it would seem that they would take walk ins when they open. But apparently they do not, they don’t even have a vet available till afternoon. I completely understand that there are surgeries booked and those come first but why even open the doors to the public if they can’t even see you? I drove 30 mins to see them because of the information provided on their website and reading the reviews here. Bad experience with these guys. So if your looking to use them as a quick walk in to have your animals checked out you might find a back up or just go somewhere else. Iv been to a lot of vets in my day, my sister in law is even a vet back home and this experience is just unprofessional. They should update their times to when they are actually available to take a walk in or even have another vet for that purpose. Onto the next vet in this town…

They have always done such a great job with my pup. They got him in quickly when I had health concerns for him. They have always been kind to both of us during visits. I appreciate having such a great vet to rely on.

Recently moved to the area and hadn't gotten around to setting up a new vet quite yet, until my golden needed an appointment for his eye. I did a quick Google search and marshfield vet had the best reviews so I started my search here. I placed a call and they had an opening 2 hours later and I was so thankful theu squeezed us in. Things have been different since covid, but the service was fast and friendly and they called several times while he was inside to let me know what they found, what was going on, and plan of care. They even followed up the next day with a phone call to see how he was doing. They were affordable and very professional. Will definitely be back and take my other animals here

We love MVS! we moved to the area just a little over 2 years ago and took our dog here and have been going back ever since! Dr Sam McDonald and team are fantastic! Always greeted at the door and everyone is so friendly through the whole visit. My dog actually likes going to the vet and doesn’t get scared here at all. She loves all the staff. We will be getting a new dog soon and will be bringing her in for a visit! We highly recommend MVS!

When ever our fur baby needs them they are there for him. They always answer our questions and address our concerns. Very friendly and caring staff.

We got a new puppy in July. She's been to Marshfield veterinary clinic multiple times now including for spay surgery and I couldn't recommend them more so far. I called around for surgery pricing at other vets and they were lower than the others in town and got our pup through surgery and home to us the same day with no complications!

I have two munchkin cats that are like my babies, so finding a vet I trust was very important to me. I am so happy I chose to come here for my cat's vet needs. It is normally very rare for a pet to love going to the vet but taking them here, that is not so rare. Dr. Samantha McDonald and her team do such a great job trying to keep your pet happy while also performing whatever exams, or procedures need to get done during the appointment. Lots of treats, pets, and patience is provided at every visit. We recently moved out of state this past year and are very sad to have to try and find a new vet office that reaches Marshfield Veterinary Service's standards of care. Even after moving, they are still extremely helpful in providing me and our future vet with whatever records they may need.

We just started coming here with our new puppy. They are so friendly and genuinely care about my pet. The prices are also very reasonable compared to other vets in the area.

We love these guys. Great Dr.'s and staff. You can just tell that they love and care for animals. we have two dogs and just moved here from Arizonal last aug.. We knew right away they would be are pups people! We've had to go there 3 times already and have known each time our pups were in good hands. We won't go anywhere else! Dr Sam knew exactly how to work with our dog. We went through 3 vets before we found marshfield vet. She made our experience so calm and relaxing and she's very knowledgeable. Our dog had a rough start and we are trying to make sure we have a great team to help us make her a happy healthy confident dog. She is absolutely going to be on our team.

I have been going to see Dr Sam at marshfield vet for 8 years now I think and she and the staff are awesome with my babies. They are so gentle and caring about the care of my precious girls. I lost my little girl Razzi back on may 1st , 2019 and the support I got was nothing short of amazing. I now have 2 other babies that I will always take to see them at Marshfield vet. Thanks to them I am able to know that my babies will always be healthy and well taken care of to the fullest extent of their ability. Thank you

Dr. John is a wonderful veterinarian. His quiet demeanor and gentleness with my cats is appreciated. He discusses any concerns and is very knowledgeable and professional. April, the vet tech is professional, friendly, and kind.
