Community Care Veterinary Clinic Madison, Wisconsin

This was my vet for a couple of years before switching for a few years and finally returning today. The service was inconsiderate and unprofessional. When I called last night with a sick cat and was told to bring him in first thing in the AM, nothing was communicated about how they are handling visits with covid. Instead, I stood outside the clinic in freezing temperatures with a cat while they shuffled around inside deciding who was going to come out and do my intake form (with no one in masks in the office). After taking in my cat, they called very quickly after to let me know he needed to be seen by an emergency vet as soon as possible and that I needed to pick him up ASAP to avoid further complications. I was rushing calling ER vet clinics--and was interrupted THREE TIMES with calls from Community Care. First seeking my cc info and again when they ran the card info incorrectly. I had to put the emergency vet clinic on hold because Community Care would not release my cat before paying the bill in full. The only redeeming experience was once I dropped him off, it took them under a half hour to perform an x-ray and call me with instructions. Seriously cannot wait to never use this vet again or recommend to friends.

I’ve been taking my cat Buddy here for several years and have received excellent care. Plus I like that they are located close to my home. Dr Deb is the best and so are the vet techs.

Amazing team. They helped me out with my new rescue pup when I had questions and they went above and beyond with service. Every single person there was friendly and responsive and great at communicating with me. I had been going to a different vet in town for my other dog but chose this one because they were closer to my house and I thought I was just choosing convenience until I had such a great experience on top of the convenient location.

Although I wasn't able to go inside because of these continued ridiculous covid restrictions, I am happy with the care provided. I got there ahead of schedule and was seen within minutes. The vet tech that came out to get my cat was very nice and knowledgeable. After a short wait, the Doctor called me with a diagnosis and asked how I wanted to proceed. They didn't try to sell me on anything that wasn't needed. I will definitely go back if any issues arise.

The staff here is very helpful. I took my cat in for a bladder infection and they were quick to help her. I'm grateful for their care!

Very helpful to our “cat sitter “ while we were traveling.

When others refuse to see my paco. This place saw him without hesitation. They fixed him up and on his way. I am very happy that they for to treat make my baby get better. This will be the only place I will go for bow on. Thank you for taking the time to see my firbaby. Meana alot.

I can't say enough good things about this clinic. Dr. Deb and her team have been providing excellent care to my pets for years now and I am so happy to have found them. She always takes the time to answer any and all questions I have and has had the best suggestions for any issues. My dog is weird, but they seem to "get" her here. Very happy here!

This is an incredible place. My girlfriend set an appointment for my dog there as my vet was doing the very minimum at looking for his concerns. CCV was very prompt and called me within a few hours figuring out what might be the problem. Just waiting on tests to return to find out his diagnosis. I cannot ask for better service and great care they have given him.

I have been taking my cat to Dr. Deb for several years and appreciate the care that I receive. I get sound advice and it isn't too expensive. It's also very close to my home so it's less stressful on my cat. The only negative thing that happened was that once they set an appointment for me and when I got there they weren't there. Odd. They took something off my bill as compensation for the inconvenience.

Our dog loves going to see Dr. Deb and staff! They take great care of all of our pets and take the time to get to know them and answer all of our questions.

I love this vet clinic! I didn't realize how badly I was getting ripped off at our old small-town vet until I started coming here. Much more reasonable prices for the same procedures like vaccinations, exams, etc. Plus, the old place was always "doom and gloom." I don't think the old vet ever told me my cat is healthy, they would say "no issues BUT-" but he's getting old so you need to buy this food from us, but he got outside once so you need these extra vaccines. I try really hard to research food for my cat, I spend a lot on the good stuff, he has a water fountain so he stays hydrated, I care for his teeth and claws. He's 11 and looks the same as he did at 5, so I was elated when we brought him to CCVC and they raved over how healthy he is- his coat, his teeth, his weight. We love Noodle and we try hard to do right by him, and I'm so glad we finally have a vet who validates that instead of angling for an up-sell.

The staff is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. It is a small clinic so I have never had to wait long to be seen by anyone, which I appreciate. Thanks for the wonderful service!

Dr. Schroeder and the rest of the staff are so wonderful! They are extremely knowledgeable and take the time to answer each and every question that we have. We also love that Dr. Schroeder is the only vet at the clinic and so our fur baby sees her every time he has to go in. Highly recommend CCVC!

Great response to my cat's problem during a pandemic as a new patient. Dr. Deb was wonderful about explaining the course of treatment based on the outcome of bloodwork and exam. Felt very confident about her treatment plan, but I do have a relative who is an out-of-town Vet and who would turn down a second opinion if given the option -- I ran her diagnosis by him which he agreed with wholeheartedly. I also felt the charges were reasonable. Am really glad to have been referred to Community Care Clinic by my son and daughter-in-law who have been using their serves for a few years now. Highly Recommend!

They have been very helpful with our dog. We have called for minor symptoms and they have been able to provide help over the phone. They have been great.

Dr Deb takes great care of our 3 dogs and 2 cats. She is also experienced with greyhounds!

I absolutely love this clinic and I am so confident in the knowledge and care my cat received from this vet. I have had multiple vets for my cat in the past, and I have never had as positive of an experience as Community Care Vet Clinic. My cat is finally the healthiest she can be thanks to Dr. Schroeder - only after speaking with her did I realize I did not get the best advice for my cat's care/health issues from past vet clinics. I could not be more grateful I discovered this vet - Dr. Schroeder and the staff are truly patient, understanding, kind, and caring. After my first appointment with her, I was instantly elated that I was finally getting the best care I could get for my cat. This is also one of the few clinics I could find in Madison willing to take on new patients during the pandemic (besides emergency pet hospitals), which I am eternally grateful for! I am also extremely appreciative of all the precautionary measures they take during the pandemic to ensure the safety of everyone (pets, owners, and employees). I definitely recommend this clinic!

All of our animals are truly loved when we bring them into your clinic. Inspector is a unique cat and I am glad everyone sees him that way too. But I love the staff at Community Care Veterinary Clinic and would not take my babies to another Vet. Thank you for your caring and understanding!
