Our very 1st time we had Sarah for our private lesson and she was amazing!!! She really connected with our pup, and showed us how to help our pup Tootie have the best time!! She helped Tootie get comfortable with the ramp, and let her take her time. Once Tootie figured it out, she had a blast!!! Sarah was so kind and patient, and taught us a few things with our own dog. Would highly recommend!! Thanks so much!

We took our two dogs to try out dock diving. Our 8yo lab really enjoyed swimming and started jumping off the dock while our 6 month old goldendoodle got to try swimming for the first time in a safe and fun pool. It was our first time so had coaching which for the little extra is definitely beneficial as they keep it focused on the dogs having fun. I look forward to taking the dogs back.

Tank: Our dog was hesitant to leave the ramp and go “all in” but our trainer was very patient and had many suggestions to keep him going and start having fun. We look forward to trying again soon with a life vest just to get over the hurdle of sinking feeling. Our dog is a huge swimmer at the lake but the transition may take a couple of times. Worth it to get him in the water and having another way to burn some energy and have fun!

Another great visit to The Dog Tank. Our labrador loves to retrieve and since he can no longer run and jump, he enjoys retrieving his ball in the pool. Friendly staff and a clean environment always make our visits enjoyable.

Love taking my two Goldens to the Tank to swim, and this is the best place in town to do that ! Very well kept and the dogs love it !

I've now had three sessions with my dog at The Dog Tank and each has been exceptional in the attention, encouragement and coaching we have received! Plus, it's a blast to see your dog have so much fun! So happy we found this place!

I have participated taken lessons in barn hunt and dock diving at FTLOD regularly for a year and a half. Teaching is first rate; competent and supportive. I plan to continue on a regular basis

Such a fantastic facility! Clean and organized. Easy to walk in and be ready for our time in the pool.

I started at FTLOD with the Barn Hunt classes, which were wonderful. My dog and I learned the basics in a stress free and fun experience. Now we work in private sessions with our instructor, Gayle. My dog just loves her. She knows exactly how to challenge him, but not frustrate him, so it’s always fun and exciting. This is my dog’s favorite activity.

We took Juniper, 10 month old golden retriever, for her first session. She loved it and we had almost as much fun as she did. Steve gave us very clear instructions and gave Juni lots of praise. In just one 25 minute lesson, he took her from tentatively walking down the ramp to running and jumping off the big dock. Steve was very mindful of Juni’s safety and comfort the entire time we were there. They have a blower to dry off the dogs, but I recommend bringing towels for you and your dog, and a change of clothes for yourself. Even though you don’t go in the pool, you will get very wet. Learn from my mistake and don’t wear sweat pants and fleece-lined boots.

My dog and I went for the first time this week and it was wonderful! Melanie was great, and we are so excited to come back next week. Chorizo can't wait to keep jumping!

We've had one private swim lesson and two private barn hunt lessons so far. Trainers are knowledgeable, patient, and think about what the individual dog needs for success. Facilities are clean. Location is far from us but right off the highway. Highly recommend.

My dog has a new happy place - the pool is amazing, and the people who work there really know how to work with the dogs. We will for certain be back, and may even try dock diving - apparently my pup is a natural! ;)

We have have loved all of our experienced at the Dog Tank! We have taken dock diving lessons with our dog from Steve, Melanie, and Nora-so far! Each of them have incredible qualities and skills to learn from and are great for the beginner dock divers like us! They are friendly, professional, and very respectful. They have a lot of patience with the dogs and treat them with compassion.

So much fun! Our pup Maisel loves running, jumping, swimming and fetch so we had a feeling dock diving might be her thing. She loves it. We just had our second lesson and she graduated from the ramp to the high dock this time. She had an absolute blast. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend doing lessons first as we probably would have got her to the dock sooner, but the staff really recommended building her confidence and strength first and insuring that she had a fun experience.

We brought our 6 month old Springer Spaniel over for her first time swimming. They helped us get her used to the water. She is hesitant, and our private lesson was extremely helpful. We cant wait to go back!

I have visited The Dog Tank/For the LOVE of dogs for both dock diving and barnhunt. Both are dynamite, dynamite. The dock is in excellent shape and the water is clean. I usually go in with my dog. The pool is about below-chest deep (I am 6 ft. tall). If you are taking a class...awesome. If you are renting time, it'll be the funnest 25 min. (or hour) you will have had. I shared with friend in the past, which is great. Barnhunt is equally FANTASTIC. Oh man, We are so hooked! The set-up is great and there is plenty of space to set up your dog. I currently take a class with Tawnya & Paul Riggs and am beyond stoked I found both of them. It's like I get two amazing instructors for the price of one! Both are super, super expert; they know their barnhunt stuff. So, there is really learning happening! Both are so encouraging. Its like you become part of a community of people, who trial together and who have huge fun together with the dogs. Above all, Tawnya and Paul are compassionate and super supportive--and very funny! I am just always bummed the hour is up so fast.

We have had a wonderful experience at FTLOD training in Barn Hunt and playing Rat Games. Everyone is welcoming and willing to share their knowledge. Special shout out to our teachers; Paul and Tawnya.

Our senior dog loves private pool time to play fetch in the pool. Staff is just as welcoming to us as they are to the dogs that are there to practice and train.
