We took our beloved Jack in on very early Monday morning to be put down. The staff was caring and compassionate. It was a very sad and difficult day, but they made it so much easier.

I brought my cat in last night feeling *extremely* anxious and worried about visiting an emergency center for the first time. I arrived 20 minutes early to my appointment and the receptionist still got me in early as soon as I arrived! The nurse and doctor could not have been any kinder to me and my cat. My cat was distressed, of course, because he despises the vet’s office and any car ride. Through out the visit they took time to comfort my cat with pets and made sure to be very gentle when handling him (which I appreciated beyond belief!). Everyone working was so friendly, prompt, and helpful. This was my first positive experience at a vet clinic which had me driving home with a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I can not recommend this place enough. They will take care of you and your loved one and make sure you are both comfortable in the process. Thank you WVRC!!!!❤️

While visiting family at home in WI our poor corgi puppy became sick and we couldn't have asked for kinder people to take care of her. They were able to diagnose her, explain it well to us and our next steps. The following few days we still had some issues and questions pop up. I was able to give them a call on 2 separate occasions, get answers from the Vet and know to continue to treat our little puppy at no extra cost. I only wish they were in our home state. I felt they went above and beyond to take care of our puppy when she was sick and miserable and greatly appreciate all they did. I cannot say enough good things. While I hope we do not have to return next time we are home but if another problem arises I know who I will be calling.

I called tonight for my dog to be seen, my dog was bit by another dog and was bleeding quite profusely. I was told to bring her in with my dog at 9 I got there one of the nurses took her into the building said they would call in a Couple mins. Well an hour passes still no call so I went in they said they would call and I should wait... TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATER I went in just so they could tell me they were just watching over my dog and she wasn't an emergency!!!.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!! Apparently a dog who is bleeding very badly isn't an emergency!

There aren't enough words of gratitude for me to express the care my cat received at WVRC Grafton. She came in very unexpectedly and after very thorough testing and walking me through all options we proceeded to get treatment for her. The vet techs here didn't just put her in a cage and forget about her, they checked on her and gave her chin scratches to keep her calm and made sure she was comfortable. This was the hardest part with not being able to go in but I was very comforted in knowing she was in great hands. Unfortunately we ended up having to come back in for end of life care but I can say that even this process was as peaceful as it could be. Each step was explained to me and the doctor was so compassionate for my loss. If I ever have any other emergency veterinary needs, I will most certainly be coming back to WVRC Grafton. Thank you everyone on staff.

A little over 2 weeks ago I had to take my cat in due to UTI issues and the staff was so amazing from getting him in right away and just so helpful! I meant to leave a review when I picked him up but forget. Two weeks later after he went to his regular vet and had surgery then after hours I’m freaking out due to not knowing if somethings normal. I called WVRC and Alyssa right away answered all my questions and made me feel so heard! I can’t thank you all enough for just being so kind and great at your jobs!

One star is a gift. I made a phone call on Tuesday to bring in my golden retriever because he had something going on with his neck. Not really sure what. Hair was missing, drainage, blood you name it. I told them that I would be there around 5pm. I get there and of course so do three other cars. Two hours later I am still in the lot with my dog. I call and ask after 2.5 hours and get told that my dog isn't an emergency enough patient to be seen. Places like this should be closed! How dare you tell me that! My dog went to the vet on Wednesday morning and is still there due to a raging infection and yes I let everyone know that this is YOUR FAULT!

Many thanks to Dr. Jochman for her kindness and empathy when she told us about our cat’s terminal cancer. She made a terrible situation bearable.

Had a very bad experience after having our puppy spayed. We took every per-caution, cone of shame on, no steps, jumping, outside leash, etc. Our puppy was always on my lap and would have her walk for exercise in house. One night we were sitting there and my puppy was on my lap and started freaking out! Picked her up and looked at incision area and noticed her small intestines were exposed!!!! Called WVRC, amazing care they have given her.. needless to say less than 24 hrs later she’s at home and recovering again with another cone of shame, sitting on my lap. I want to thank you STAFF and Doctors for everything you have done! Keeping myself ,husband and family calm. Taking the time for our puppy and keeping us informed in a calming tone when talked to and release information with the Veterinary Technicians for the proper Home Care. You are all amazing and keep up the great work you do for our family members.. Outstanding medical care and the entire staff showed empathy and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Thank you again.

I needed to bring my dog in on a Sunday. He had a cut that required stitches. This took several hours and he ended up with 7 staples. I was then told I could bring him back to have them removed. Well, I tried calling over the weekend but they were busy the whole time and I couldn't justify having him sit in the car for two hours to have them removed. I totally understand that emergencies take precedence. Today is now Tuesday and when I called I was told they are closed to emergencies during the day except weekends and Holidays and open at 6:00 p.m. So when am I supposed to have his staples removed? I told the receptionist I would prefer someone telling me from the beginning he would need to go to his regular vet to have this done. We were very disappointed several years ago when we had to bring our dog here and I am disappointed to find things have not changed. The receptionist said everything is due to Covid???

I called after my cat had something happen that she passed from within minutes. I was totally hysterical and they told me to come in. While I realized she was likely gone, I had to bring her to have the piece of mind that there was nothing I could do. They looked at her and confirmed she was gone and even provided me a box and put her in it for me as well. They were so kind and didn't charge me despite their efforts. Very nice people.

These folks quite literally saved my sweet little dog's life! Long story short, they found out she was having pancreas and gallbladder issues. She received excellent care and they got her back into excellent health, and she has more energy now than ever with her new diet and medications!

Dr Quigley and staff were so compassionate and kind. I felt that they all very much cared about my dog. Dr Quigely spent a lot of time discussing testing and treatment options and made sure I understood everything before leaving the room, I never felt rushed and felt very supported. Thank you all so much for taking good care of my dog!

We recently had a terrible accident (that too on a Saturday) with our pup which required him to be hospitalized for a couple nights. I immediately called WVRC (my go to) and they guided me through the process. They were some of the worst and most anxious days I’ve had knowing my baby was sick but the staff at the clinic really made me feel at ease and took care him like family. They even let me FaceTime my pup a couple times a day because we couldn’t visit due to Covid. I also thank you guys for putting up with my constant calls to get updates. The doctor even called me every day personally to give me status reports. Special shout out to Libbey and Dr. Carlson - you were truly amazing with Milo and I couldn’t be more grateful for you and your wonderful staff.

They took the time to listen to me, then took the time to exam my dog. The did not do any unnecessary procedures that would cost more! The place is reasonable in price! I recommend WBRC highly! P.s. I never write a review- but this place deserve it. Thank you so much for caring for Kora. She is doing well.

We are first time dog owners and this was our first experience with an emergency vet. The whole staff was incredibly kind and accommodating from the minute we walked in until we left. They even called a few days later to see how our buddy was doing. We are so thankful for them and god forbid we need another emergency vet visit we will definitely return here.

Wonderful, thorough, well communicated care. So grateful this clinic was there during our dog’s late night anaphylactic reaction. They also performed a TPLO surgery on our pup that she sailed through without complication.

Dr Quigley was wonderful. Brought our dog in on a Sat evening for what we thought was an intestinal obstruction (ate wax) and the Dr thought outside the box and really took the time to evaluate our dog. Turns out it was a back problem. Was very nice and explained everything. Also very affordable for an emergency vet. Definitely recommend.

I cannot say enough about the kindness and compassion of the staff at WVRC. I came in with my dying foster kitten in my arms. Both of us were treated with such love. WVRC took what could have been a horrific experience and made it the best it could be. Thank you for being there for us.
