Dead fish everywhere, the feeder tank literally had 50 dead fish all in a pile, all the tanks had dead fish in them and all were disgusting. This is one of the worst petcos I've been to highly recommend getting your fish somewhere else because the level of neglect here is appalling and no substrate

Ordered 3 pet toys ... went in got my bag. Tossed in car to drive home and once home found only 2 toys. I and my dog were disappointed. I had ordered a sm bear and 2 ducks ... my dog loves his ducks and I am constantly replacing them the monetary loss was small though and I didn't feel the follow up time was would be justified vs the expense, lesson learned ill just pass the info along to others to be aware and not trust that orders are picked correctly at petco.

Petco is The destination for pet supplies of all kinds! Great grooming center for dogs as well with friendly service and reasonable prices.

The helper that assisted us was amazing. I just had surgery and couldn't lift the cat food bags, so he did. Then loaded them In my car for me.

I bought a betta fish from here 2 days ago, yesterday he started acting really weird, now he’s dead. This isn’t my first time with a betta so I know what I am doing. Why would you sell sick fish? I’m so angry and sad.

Really haven't been happy with this store, the last few times I've been in. The price listed on the shelves are always inaccurate. If the tag says $30.99, I expect to pay $30.99 not $40! Please don't tell me I picked it from the wrong spot when EVERY SINGLE BAG IF PRODUCT IN THAT SPOT IS THE SAME!!!!!! There's also several products that have been unavailable for over a year. I get it, times are tough but this is just insane.

I gave a 4. I only gave this score because for 1, the auto doors started to open and jammed part way (I nearly injured myself walking in to it because it didn't open fully when it seemed to be but didn't and I was in full stride..) I LOVE this store. Most of the employees seem to LOVE critters and enjoy their jobs assisting others find what they need for their fur, feather, or scaley babies. This store generally had very clean cages for the critters they sell and fish tanks are always very clean. At this store in Eau Claire I have never seen any sickly critters or dead fish, they always seem very lively and well fed. I enjoy browsing the very neat aisles and find everything I need for each of my critters, I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a milk snake. We are going to be expanding our family with a ferret baby from Petco in Eau Claire WI right after the holidays too ????

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend going here for your pets and pet supplies.

After making an appointment for the groomer, and being told what shots my dog needed ( 9 wk old pup), that he needed his 2nd distemper after arriving. This after a 45 minute drive.

I was impressed by the quality cat kibble found--no junk kibble to be found, so yay! I did feel like the aisles were too close to each other, it felt pretty cramped.

We went to spoil our pups and refill the dog food canister. These guys there need some help big time. They are good people. It's not their fault people don't want to work. So when you go in, have some empathy for others and don't be a jerk. Be patient. Have some understanding. They are doing their best.

If i could give this store 0 stars i would. The employees were extremely unprofessional the entire time me and my friends were there, they had animals out of cages and cages open/easily accessible to children/patrons, birds flying around, guinea pigs in carts with the store manager’s child riding around doing god knows what. I just hope those animals are okay. Someone needs to be fired, absolutely unacceptable behavior endangering animals like that. Disgusting.

Nice place, they have a lot of items considering the COVID SHORTAGE, but kind of expensive. Wally World may have what you need cheaper.

Petco has the worst customer service the cashier lady who was very tall, gray hair, glasses, I didn’t get the chance to catch her name. Was snappy, rude, and didn’t take her time just wanted to get me out. I didn’t feel welcomed at all. I don’t recommend going here except if you just want to peak at the animals real quick and leave.

Great help from cashier locating meds for our pet

Due to an emergency, the groomer cancelled our appointment. They said that the groomer would call you back for rescheduling. I called twice and got the same reply. No one called! I understand that people have emergencies but then the management should take responsbility and solve the problem. When I try to schedule a new appointment, it gives a date for two months later and it is not acceptable to wait for additional two months. So, I will never purchase anything from that store because of their unprofessionalism.

Collars for every size sub, but i just needed clicker for a adult sized cat who was misbehaving, Click, click clickckkidy. Fella who checked me out was wearing a a mask, aswell the employees.

This was my first time here. I found a variety of things I needed for my dog . I like the snack cart where you can mix or match dog treats. They're all natural ingredients and flavors. They have a great selection on Halloween costumes for your pet. Some very neat looking and they come in all sizes. The store was fairly clean. Our cashier was nice. I will stop in again when I am in Eau Claire
