We love OHAH. They take great care of our furry children and take the time to answer any questions we have. The Vets and Vet Techs are all fantastic!

Called because no other place was open scared about my little dog he was not feeling good an she suggested I do some thing to help I gave her the info of what was going o. And she gave me some great advice

We have been going here for the past four years and don't have any complaints. All the staff are nice and thoughtful. The veterinarians are all knowledgeable and explain everything to us. The office is clean. We haven't yet used their emergency care, but it's nice to know that it's there.

Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital let us down when we needed them the most. We have three dogs who are patients at OHAH and have been for several years. We also have a cat who was not a patient at OHAH. Our cat was 16 years old and it was time to have her cross the rainbow bridge. Since she was not a patient they made it next to impossible to get her in to help. They also wanted to charge a small fortune for this difficult choice. We ended up finding another vet clinic that was willing to help. Our dogs won’t be patients much longer as a result of this.

Poor communication on their end on what I'm required to have for my dog. They failed to communicate when vaccinations were due and were more worried about pushing medication onto him that he did not need. I will be going elsewhere.

I completely forgot to leave a review for earlier this year so here it is. Thank you guys so so much for saving my cat, he's doing so well and is back to his normal self. If anyone is looking for a clinic in the Eau Claire area, this is it! I drove two hours to bring Chai down for an emergency visit when everyone else was closed and they took him with no questions asked. The staff was wonderful and very compassionate, they kept me updated at every moment and Dr. Beyer even messaged me throughout my workday instead of calling so I could be updated. Thank you guys so so very much.

Dr. Kevin was so kind and gentle with our lab who recently had a 3 day hospitalization. He called twice daily and updated me, not only on how our dog was doing but also where our bill was at. Very thorough and very much appreciated care!

Just moved to the area, our house was being painted and one of our dogs jumped off the bed onto a heat vent that had been removed for painting.. I called 5 or 6 vets and Noone had emergency appointments. Oakwood did, I drove the 30 minutes there and couldn't have been more please. They got her in right away and had to put her under to remove her nail. They had awesome communication, and were surprisingly affordable. Now my other dog has her annual appointment there. Once you find a place that loves your animals, how do you go anywhere else?!?!

Oakwood Hills saved our Dog Zeus' life! Their emergency program and hospital was excellent!! He was on deaths door and they properly diagnosed him and gave him the proper medicine & the time & attention he needed to come back to us! We love him and we love them for saving our boy Zeus!! Here he is absorbing some sun the day after he got home!!???????????????????? And there he is today! Getting his energy back!

Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital has the *best* trained veterinarians and staff of all the veterinary clinics in the Chippewa Valley! They are the ONLY AAHA-certified clinic in the Chippewa Valley, which is a very strict standard to maintain. Their commitment to the well-being of all animals in their care is the most important and clearly shows. In the past 5 years or so, more veterinarians have joined the practice, and a lot more clients have started using Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital. This has now created a situation where it is difficult to get appointments. Despite this issue, I remain a dedicated Oakwood Hills Animal Hospital client because the veterinarians and staff provide the very best care for my pets.

Great service and personally engaging. Our dog has a tough condition we were looking for a second opinion on and they were very understanding, honest, and mage the personal connection that cannot be missed. Thank you!

I have been taking my dogs here for almost 10 years despite the high price they charge for services I figured it was a nice enough place and they have emergency services. One of my dogs rolled in something dead and a bone impaled his side. I was extremely distraught and called for him to be seen. I was told I had to wait until EMERGENCY HOURS at 830 pm. Which was 5 hours after the incident! What kind of place that boasts they are an emergency vet only has certain hours that emergencies can come in?! I feel sorry for anyone else who’s pet who gets hit by a car or any other emergency and is told they have to wait!? I will be transferring my dogs care to the wonderful people at Chippewa valley veterinary services who understood the emergency and saw me right away and treated me and my scared dog with respect and dignity.

Needed after hours emergency advice and the tech who answered the phone was fantastic. Answered my questions, checked with the in house veterinarian for clarifications and recommendations.....they were incredibly helpful.

It was awful.. the lady would not let me bring the dog in because I didn't want to transfer my records to them, I just wanted a second opinion and they said they don't do that... I highly recommend to not go there.

They didn’t have a spot for a review. Incredible displeased with the serving today. I set up an appointment or my dog who has been seen here before. I made it clear when I set up the appointment I only needed X-rays. Went to pay for the X-rays they told me almost $400.00. Which is just crazy for 2 X-rays. When I asked they why they charged that much they told me it was $90.00 for a consultation and diagnosis, which wasn’t part of my appointment. Then almost an additional $100.00 for medicine I didn’t ask for. The lowest consultation fee they would give me was $72.00. If my vet wasn’t retiring soon and I didn’t need a new vet in the next few year I wouldn’t go back. Extremely ridiculous. End rant about the poor service.

A little pricey but they schedule as soon as possible and are very good at communicating with you on all the things with your pet.

I'm sure there lovely but no availability makes it tough to recommend especially when they want an appt for urgent care (aka an appointment)but charge an extra $180 just to use "urgent care".

I've taken my cat here since I got her, they've always taken great care of us. And durning covid they took so much caution it was very comforting.

very quick and responsive to the point and gave me detailed options for our cat naughty after getting attacked by a pit bull. sqieezed him in without question

Charged 27 bucks to cut my dogs nails got him home they did a slppy job his nails should have been shorter and missed 1 paw all together.
