Love this place for my dogs. The only issue I have is getting appointments fast. They allow people who are not apart of the banfield plan to be seen here and I think banfield plan members should have first dibs on appointments.

We noticed that our Maltipoo had been losing weight back in September/October. I took her to Banfield who only does drop off appointments due to Covid. We have been with Banfield for years with very little issue. However, I will never take any of my furry friend to Banfield again. First of all, over this 2 month endeavor every time I called I was immediately place on a 20-30 minute hold. When I finally.got an appointment and took her in they informed me the weight loss was due to my dog's teeth being slightly loose and possible dental disease. We scheduled a teeth cleaning the following week. When the appointment came, I dropped off my baby and they later called me and informed me they could not perform the procedure because they checked her heart and she had a class 3 heart murmur. I was confused why they didn't listen to her heart when I first brought her in, but shook it off and scheduled an echocardiogram. This took two more weeks of waiting due to no specialists on site except certain days. In the meantime my pup was continuing the lose weight. She began throwing up bile about twice a day and had no appetite. Banfield had given me an appetite stimulant to try to get her to eat but it wasn't working well. After the echocardiogram, they informed me that her heart wasn't as bad as they had originally thought and she did not require medication. I was confused as to why she was still losing weight and not eating, in which they said it was probably the heart murmur and possibly her teeth. They wanted to schedule another cleaning appointment but I knew my pup was too weak for anesthesia even if they didn't seem to understand. By this time my once vibrant little girl had gone from 9.5 lbs to 7lbs. I have since moved vets to one in Alexandria (long drive but worth it) who immediately suspected cancer and were appalled that Banfield would even think such weight loss was due to a heart murmur or bad teeth. I believe their exact words were that it was "laughable". We have since found that my pup has a cancerous tumor. We would have never found it if we had stayed with Banfield.

All the staff are friendly and happy to help. They take good care of my Duke when he's there. No matter what the reason ????

I always take my fur baby here. Although they were a little understaffed, and I had to wait 3 1/2 hours, they have always taken great care of my Riley and that's all that really matters at the end of the day. I am grateful for them always! Prices can be expensive without a wellness plan, or if you don't have care credit to use upfront.

Had the puppy plan and that's all I wanted after the year was up I didn't come back. They called to make appt I told them I wasn't using them then the charged me. A little time goes by they call again to make appt told them I'm not using them said they would make a note. Today I look and bam I'm charged again. Called the number on Bank statement guy said he wouldn't cancel it but cannot refund me the money. Took money for nothing and wouldn't give it back.

They always try to make you feel like an awfully person if you aren't buying all their unnecessary add-ons or question them upselling you. Came in and the bill was 100 more than we agreed to and when Isaid no they acted like I was being the rudest person on the world when I simply refused to pay for something I didn't ask for. Basically it boils down to awful customer service at the front desk which seems to be a

Great experience today! The Morales family highly recommend Dr. Tarahl Satalino! Dr. Satalino took time to speak with us about our ???? and exceeded our needs and requests! Always a great experience with Dr. Satalino! Thank you much Dr. Satalino! Also, the receptionist was very helpful, efficient, and we thank her as well. ???? The hospital was very clean, provided hand sanitizer, and paper towels. Our ???? was given back to us wagging his tail.

They mis-diagnosed our cat. They didn’t do any blood work. The result was a loss of life when a blood test could have said what was wrong. But was passed off as an infection. They also took forever getting back to us on the phone. All of these things and our cat might still be alive and well with blood work.

Even though they were very busy, the staff and Dr.s were helpful and kind. They even called me to check on my pet! Much better than the veterinarians I went to

I dont understand where all these negative reviews are coming from. I've have nothing but the utmost respect for this clinic. and the folks that work there. The vets are really caring for the animals and the owners and are willing to go that extra mile if need be and have no problem working with you when money is tight. I will definitely recommend thos place to all my friends and family. GREAT PLACE AND VERY FRIENDLY

Everyone is always so helpful. Our dog loves it here and doesn't want to leave. That's something to be said. We went on the year payment plan for all his shots and neutering. It is worth it!

When we got a puppy last year they were recommended to us since the wellness plan covers spay/neuter, office visits are waived, and they get two physicals per year. This vet has been the absolute worst. Sure the wellness plan is a good buy but you definitely give up quality. All they care about is money. I can't tell you how many times I've had to argue for a "sick" appointment only to see them take walk in's who sign up for a wellness plan right away. All appointments are still drop off only due to Covid-19. I understand that, however, they end up keeping your pet for 4+ hours every single time. What's even better is then they will charge you for having to clean up any accidents your pet has while they are kept in tiny kennels for hours on end. Every staff member with the exception of ONE has been extremely rude. The vet opens up before the store and I've been told they weren't going to see my pet because I was late. However, I was standing out side with my pet 10 minutes prior to my appointment ringing the door bell. A store employee finally opened the door and told me the vet employees could hear the bell but argued it wasn't "their job" to open the door! I recently placed a pharmacy order through my Banfield homepage to refill heartworm medication. It took 8 days and 7 phone calls to have them approve the order. IT SHOULD NOT BE THIS HARD! It shouldn't take constant fights to get them to do the right thing. I'm sure I'll get the generic response of "oh we're so sorry you've had this experience, we strive to provide quality pet care..." Save it! If you're sorry then fix the issue, change staff, change your attitudes, change your policies, close the hell down. Do something because our pets deserve better!

The front desk team is awful! Unbelievably rude and aggressive, they will even resort to bullying their customers in order to shield themselves from any perceived criticism. The front desk completely ruined every experience (this makes the fourth) we have had at this Banfield, despite the fact that the doctors were lovely and took good care of my dog. The service is so bad that we are now driving an extra 40 minutes to go to a different one. STAY AWAY!

On one of the hardest days of my life, I am so grateful to Dr Tammy and her staff for the care and guidance they delivered. I appreciate all of you. Thank you!

If you want a vet that truly cares about your animal, do not choose this vet. They only care about profit, not quality of care given. When my oldest dog was sick and needed an appointment, which is "covered" under the wellness plan, they told me they had no availabilities and that I'd have to go somewhere else. But I call in later with a new puppy that needed to be signed up for the wellness plan and they have an opening within 2 days. After I schedule that appointment two weeks out, I was told two days prior to the appointment that it would be a drop off. When asked how long he would have to be there for, considering he is 10 weeks old, they informed me that it would "only" be 2 hours because they have 10 animals scheduled before him. His appointment was at 9:45 and they open at 9. How can they provide quality care when they schedule less than 5 minutes per animal? Definitely reconsider your choice if you want quality care and don't want your animal in a cage unnecessarily for two hours.

I was talked into one of their wellness plans, which may have been fine when my dog was a puppy but I've tried multiple times to call and cancel and have never been successful in getting a human on the phone to process the cancellation. They're now only accepting drop off appointments scheduled more than a month out. I don't have the time or money to make the 1.5 hour round trip twice a day for a drop off appointment that I don't really want to pay for anyway, just because I can't get them to cancel the wellness plan.

My pup has had stomach issues off and on for the last year and anytime I call them for an urgent appointment they do their best to make it work and are always very kind and caring. 100% Recommend.

I love this clinic! Such a positive atmosphere. Front desk girls are very nice. They seem to handle the Covid chaos pretty well. I've never seen them busier. The techs and Drs love my girls and are so good with them! The wellness plans are so worth it.

We have been loyal Banfield Wellness Plan members for the past 15 years. We have seen many doctors come and go...and notice the good ones always end up leaving. This says much about the employment practices of corporate Banfield. Doctor Nelson is the only remaining vet worth seeing, which probably means she will not be there for long. Our last visit was with Doctor ‘Joe’, which was hands down the worst experience we’ve ever had. Loyalty can only go so far, especially when it’s one sided. Joe did not listen, did not review our dogs history, which resulted in a medication being prescribed that has not proved effected in the past. When we realized the medication was not being effective in fully clearing the issue, we realized Joe prescribed a medication he thought best, and not the most recently prescribed medication we asked for, after explaining its what has proved most effective. When we brought this to his attention, he required addition testing fees. What kind of scam is being run at Banfield? Or is it just Joe running the scam to up his sales? It’s honestly disgusting, especially when it affects the health of an animal. Come to find out that Joe is the chief of staff at Gainesville? Wow, I hope the animals under his care at that facility are not subjected to the same scam he seems to be running at Winchester. Our dog has been with Banfield since we got her at 5 weeks old. Now that she is 11 years old, the last thing we want to do is find another vet, but it seems like we will have no other choice.

This Banfield has became a big, big, disappointment, we purchased and have been paying 50.00 a month for a wellness plan and every time we schedule an appointment it is supposedly covered in the plan but once we get there something has changed and it is not covered after they have done part of the work and then they tell u that they can’t do what is scheduled because they have found something else and that needs to be further evaluated. Called to seep with the manager about the changes and I have yet to hear from anyone. The website says they are open until 5:00 pm but the phone just keeps ringing. We are done with going here. Customer service does not mean what it use to for a lot of businesses anymore. This being one of those.
