We are so grateful to have found Vinton Veterinary!

Some of the cheapest and best care that we have gotten for our dog daisy(black mouth cur). If it wouldn't have been for the Vinton Veterniary Hospital we would have had to pay double in Texas to repair my dog's leg (she was shot). Not only that, but we have had daisy boarded there and they have staff that are there 24/7. Would recommend Dr. Brucia and Dr. Appleton. They have both worked hard to make sure our dog got the best care she could. She just had surgery (1/12/2022). I will be editing this review as this has made me rethink my position on Dr. Appleton. Also, I'm editing this review to update on my dog daisy's status and how she progresses.

They have a good system there, all the parking spots are numbered. I called to let them know I was there, they came and got my cat. Everything was handled professionally.

The vet was thorough, compassionate, gentle, and professional. Staff were kind.

A little pricey I was wondering if you have pet insurance?

You all have always done a great job to ensure the wellbeing of our pets. We highly recommend you often to all our fur family friends.

I wouldnt trust my fur babies to anyone but Dr. Wiegard. She and her team rock!

Dr Gallagher is excellent. He is was caring, kind compassionate with Lilly. He listened to my concerns and wants. I trust him with my precious Lilly!

Love Dr Curbow and staff at Vinton Vet. The office is hard to get a hold of via phone and that can be fustrating but their attention and care of my pet is really all that matters.

They truly care about your fur babies, and are very respectful all around. I really have nothing bad to say

The staff were friendly and efficient and Dr. Courtney Wiegard was great! I’m a first time pet owner and new to the area and I felt supported and informed for my entire visit. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Best Veterinary services in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas! Always responsive, always make suggestions, always listen to your concerns,, whether they be yours pets prognosis, alternative treatments, or financial issues. Just A-One service overall.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, understanding, caring, and extremely passionate about what they do. They take their time to make sure you have the understanding of any procedures that your fur baby needs done and after surgery care. Moving my fur babies to Vinton Vet. was the best decision I could have ever done for them.

On 8/21/21 I took my baby in because when I got up that morning she could not stand on her back legs and she was to week to raise her head. Just happened overnight. After multiple tests I was told she had early onset of kidney disease and that with her age she was just ready to die. Totally unacceptable. No follow up appointments recommended to see how it was progressing. I toile my baby to another vet yesterday who ran the same tests and they were much worse. Because there was no follow up from Vinton vet her kidney levels were much higher. Lucky is now on a kidney disease diet and taking medications. She will pass one day but not today thanks to a different vet who actually cared.

My cat suffered a very serious injury from a fall and we were worked in immediately for care. Everyone was so concerned and caring. They treated her like she was their pet. My girl is home now recovering thanks to great treatment.

I've been taking my dog to Vinton Vet for a year now. From his puppy vaccines to neutering, they've been great every time we had a visit.

Very nice staff and very thoughtful.

Everyone is very nice and helpful just outrageously expensive. 1 shot each and a quick exam for 2 cats was $200.

Dr. Gallagher was amazing with my pet parrot! He took gentle care of him and explained everything clearly to us. Thanks so much!

Dr. Ramanathan and the staff and Vinton vet are awesome ????. We've bounced around between vets for years because we couldn't find one we were truly satisfied with. Won't be bouncing around anymore! I will say that the wait times are long, but due to COVID-19 procedures. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, as is Dr. Ramanathan. In our experience, he is very proactive - we rarely have to ask questions because he is very thorough and explains things very simply. Just seems like a really nice dude who genuinely likes and wants to help animals. Also, our dog is pretty much terrified of the vet (has been for years) and they are so kind to and patient with her. Definitely recommend! Update: Dr. Ramanathan moved so is no longer at Vinton Vet, but Drs. Wiegarg, Curbow, and Gallagher are just as fantastic. We've had a few different issues with a doggo since my original post and they have been so thorough, patient, and kind with us!

Dr. Wiegard and team are the absolute best. I never worry about my pets when they are in their hands. Thank you Vinton Vets! We appreciate you!!
