Not a fan of this veterinarian Hospital. You can only use debit card not cash they kept thinking I was someone else when I wasn't. Told me that his insurance covered everything but the medicine got there and his answers only covers his basic exams and rabies shots and worm medicine nothing outside of that

Always kind and caring to my cat as they check on how she is doing.

If you've got a dog then you'll get pretty excellent care here, if you have a cat however good luck getting them to care AT ALL about them. My cat been in since 8am due to bladder issues which can very quickly turn deadly for cats, after not being able to get a urine sample due to dehydration they, 7 HOURS LATER, had decided that maybe he should be on IV fluids. Nearly a $300 bill for them to hold my cat in an unfamiliar place for a total of 9 hours to do what shouldn't have taken more than 2-3 hours at most. What a joke. Definitely filing a BBB complaint.

Hospital was closed but I was still able to get flea and tick meds for our rescued puppy

When my cat was sick, they were So good with her. I didn't know if she was going to live, but they helped me with what I needed to know to get her healthy again.

I've been taking my babies to Banfield for 10 years only bc their hours work with my schedule. I can't find another vet that is open in the evenings or weekend. That being said I have had issues with the work they have done on my furbabies & I have had issues with certain people that work there. I am looking for a different vet though. I just can't do Banfield anymore. Or maybe i can use 2 vets in case I need one when the other is closed. I don't know. I can deal with banking ours through the week but why can't other vets be opened on the weekends? OMG, I just need a new vet for my furbabies.

Love this vet!! Everyone is always so kind and love my babies just like I do! Very thankful for them

To require masks inside of a store that doesn't require them will have us taking our pets elsewhere.

Both my cats go here, they do a great job.

I go there to get the prescription for the dog food for my West Highland Terrier. My Veterinarian writes the script for the food and I go to the store Vet at PetSmart and get the hard copy so I can purchase the food from any PetSmart that carries this food. Everyone at Banfield is so nice and friendly. If I didn't already have a veterinarian I would definitely take my dogs here.

This was actually a visit to PetSmart where my wife found a treat that allows pills to be hidden inside. Our little Yorkie-poo loves them and it solves our problem of finding foods that she will eat without discarding the pills.

Great staff. My 2 kittens were sick. The assistant and the vet called to see how they were doing. One a couple days after the visit. Another a week later.

I wouldn't let them examine the cricket I feed my pets with.

I've been to plenty of banfield locations, I just recently moved from Tampa, so this is my first in Virginia, but I loved this location. My dog has like PTSD from her surgery, and now hates going, but I felt a lot more comfortable with them after they met her and didn't freak out that she was freaking out...

Banfield really does a good job dealing with the covid issue. they have a system that works as well as to be expected. they have been very innovative by creating waiting stations where you wait with your pet keeping social distancing in play. really well done by Banfield! they deserve recognition! My husband and I recently moved to a new house here in Roanoke. We had two older dogs who we feared would not handle this transition well and unfortunately we were right. My sister highly recommended the Banfield Pet Hospital based on her experiences, even though she lives in SC. I needed an appointment fast and over the weekend. Banfield was one of only a few in Roanoke who could accommodate weekend hours and were one of the only vets in the area that even provided website scheduling. We have continued to use them as our primary vet care. They have done a fantastic job with both our dogs. They treat humans and animals with such grace and respect. I could not have asked for more. BUT as a bonus, we feared the cost of weekend appointments might just break our bank and IT DID NOT! We were shocked at how reasonable their services are and love the fact that we leave the appointment with meds in hand. I literally could not recommend them more.

Brought my recently adopted senior dog here as a new client, and I was impressed by how friendly all of the staff were and how efficient the process was during COVID. You wait outside and call, and the vet and an assistant will come out to meet you, where you can discuss your visit and any needs you have. Dr. Snuffer was so friendly and courteous and was able to address any concern I had while also outlining all my options for continued care. A wellness exam to establish care took around only 10 minutes, and the price was great too.
