I drive almost 2 hours to go to this vet office without hesitation! By far they have a lifetime client with us!!

I have taken my pets to see primarily Larry Evans. He is by far one of the best vets I have ever taken my animals to. He really cares and he listens to our concerns.

Unbelievable care. We were on vacation and our dog’s stomach bloated, which was unbelievably scary. After overnight surgery at an emergency vet the staff at Augusta Valley took incredible care of our boy and went above and beyond caring for him and managing his recovery. He is at home recovering now, and we will be forever grateful to them.

All of our animals go to Augusta. We love Dr. Kelly and all the staff. Everyone treats our animals with care and are great in communicating needs and being compassionate.

We boarded dog with AVAH for 9 nights. The intake process was very thorough, and the staff is very pleasant.

This place does not deserve a star. It is because of their negligence that we had to put down our beautiful 4 year old pitbull. An event took place where our dog ended up with open wounds to her ears. We had to take her to the emergency vet, they cleaned her wounds and placed stitches in her ears. We made an appointment with the vets office the Monday (since they are not open on the weekends). They couldn't see her till Wednesday, even after we told them the severity of the wounds. She ended up with a severe infection. They put a drain tube in her check and sent her home. This infection was so severe that she smelled like death and they STILL sent her home. No test were run to figure out what infection she had. So the antibiotics were generic. She needed close monitoring and constant wound care and they made her next appointment to check on this severe infection for 5 days later! Once home, they did not call to check in on her. They asked for pictures on Friday. We sent them. Which we had to call and ask if they viewed them. "Oops we forgot". With blood and ooze running down her face on both sides and they note that it smelled so bad we gaged, they said she was fine. Saturday she was rushed to the emergency vet because her ear was melting off the side of her head. Her skin was litteraly melting off both sides of her head. Her infection was so bad we had to put her down. I literally would not take an animal to them if their life depended on it. Ours did and she has now dead! They are worthless! Who sends a pet home with serious infections that will kill and needs monitoring!!!! Morons!

Went above and beyond my expectations with a last minute emergency before they closed. They got my cat right in and stayed after to help his needs.

Great first experience for our new puppy. Definitely recommend.

Everyone is so nice, friendly, & Professional. Dr. Carter came out to our car & talked to us, & we just feel comfortable taking Dumplyn to them.

Doc Evans as usual is very professional and caring. Even with present reduced associations the visit went well. Look forward to be able to go inside.

They have been taking great care of my animals for the past 1.5 years. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I will be sad when I move and have to find a new vet. Dr. Robertson is great.

Good visit. Would prefer that we could come in for the visit. My dog is getting older and she is extremely nervous being alone with strangers while having procedures done. Otherwise all went well.

Against my pet plan to keep my pack at two Brittanys, I gave in and picked another Brittany puppy from my friend in London KY. As typical I wanted to get him ("Briar") in for a wellness exam and started on inoculations. I was able to get a timely appointment with Dr Evans, starting Briar on his protective health regimen. Parts of my pet health care plan are premium food and veterinary care.

I have been with Augusta Valley Animal Hospital for about 20 years and they have never disappointed me. I consider them to be the best of the best. Dr. Carter has been a wonderful vet and above all a wonderful person.

They are very professional and friendly. They take such good care of the animals. I take my cat there and they go above and beyond with her.

We were at the end of a 30-day RV trip driving through Staunton when one of our bichons started showing symptoms of an ear infection. We called a couple of animal hospitals that told us they couldn’t see him before calling Augusta Valley Animal Hospital. The receptionist was very kind on the phone and gave us an appointment for 2:40 pm that same day. We pulled into the parking lot in our RV and found ample space to park it. One of the techs came out to get our dog and about 30 minutes later Dr. Robertson came out to speak with us. He explained in detail what he found and the medication he put in our dog’s ear. It was a long lasting medication so that we didn’t have to worry about applying any medication ourselves. He also did a full physical which we appreciated. He was very calm and patiently listened to us. Then they brought our dog out and within a couple of hours all his symptoms had disappeared. We recommend this clinic!

I was visiting the area and called because one of my girls was sick they got her in right away. Everyone I spoke with on the phone and in person was friendly. A day later she's feeling better thanks to Augusta Valley Animal Hospital.

Dr. Kelly not only cares very much, she also communicates well. She made me feel as if we were a “team” by asking many questions and listened carefully to my answers. She also took the time to answer all of my questions and is fully vested in the care of my precious, “Henry the Magnificent”, cat. I know that I won’t have him much longer, but his quality of life is much improved until that day comes. Thank you Dr. Kelly!!

All of the staff are courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. We couldn’t ask for better veterinarian care than what we get here. Dr. Robertson is awfully good about taking his time to explain everything to us in detail about anything that our dogs need or what we can do at home for them.

My first time there and I was very impressed!! Saw Dr Robertson and he was awesome. Explained everything to me and was very thorough. I will definitely be returning
