Dr. Quatman is caring, genuine, kind and the very best veterinarian!!!! We are so thrilled to have incredible expertise and talent in Roanoke. Also Dr. Hickman had to remove some teeth from our German shepherd and she also did a phenomenal job. Thank you for all the hard work you do for the community and for our loving pets.

I have worked at vet clinics and I have taken my pets to a few over the years, but I truly love this clinic! The doctor & staff are amazing. They are very patient and attentive to you pet. They explain and communicate in a way that many people will be able to understand the medical needs and health of their pet! I always suggest them when speaking to owners looking for a place in Roanoke. This is worth the drive from Bedford!

It's very obvious that the entire staff care about our pets. Dr. Hickman takes her time with me and my pup to make sure he is healthy and happy. We love VWCR!

Not cool. Good thing it wasn't an emergency. Reception does not allow humans in the lobby on July 2, 2021! But if you're vaccinated a mask is not required. This does not make any sense. Why should people stay out in the parking lot? A different story if we were informed of this policy. Upon arrival we were told one person allowed in the exam room, and no people allowed in the reception area. Why is Veterinary Wellness Center not with the times? I guess our cat will need to get herself to the vet.

Staff is always friendly and professional. My cat has never been as relaxed at a veterinary clinic before. Her yearly wellness visit has always been very stressful for her, I’m so happy to have found a place close to home where she doesn’t get super worried at. They always do a great job and are very thorough!

Super friendly staff. My little nervous dog did alright. That means a lot. The Veterinarian explained everything well and is trying the less stressful and costly approach first. Gotta love that.

Great bedside manners and great at always explaining to the customer about the diagnosis of everything that cassie has and will always return phone calls. There is no doubt in my mind that cassie would not be doing as well as she is if had not been for the wellness center's great care

Having an emergency with your pet is in no way enjoyable, but I had one of my best vet experiences ever with my dog at VWCR. They were able to fit us into an already packed schedule and persued paperwork that I had already attempted to get to them without luck. That in itself was a huge burden relief. Options, symptoms, and current state were discussed in high detail, which was very helpful with an already scary experience. I felt alot more at ease and like my older pet's health and comfort were always at the front of things, which has not always been the case with past experiences with other practices (not in Roanoke). I feel confident in continuing to bring my pet to VWCR as we get through this, and hopefully will be able to continue with them in the future.

The best vets in Roanoke, hands down! Dr. Hickman is always happy to squeeze my pup in her busy schedule and takes time to talk to me, hear my concerns, and do a thorough exam. The vet techs and office team are also amazing and so friendly. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic!

We are very new to Roanoke and left a great vet behind in Florida. So so happy I found Dr. Hickman and Dr. Quatmann! They are both the most knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarians I’ve encountered. They truly care! Pam at the front desk is also wonderful and a great asset to the practice. I never once felt that our pup Bailey was in the wrong hands. I will be telling everyone I know to bring their fur babies here. Thank you!!

I really cannot say enough positive things about Veterinary Wellness Center. They are busy, but my pet and I are their number one concern as soon as we walk in the door. They are friendly and very flexible, family and pet centered, everyone has outstanding listening skills, and are highly compassionate. I'm so grateful they are here in Roanoke and have been a blessing to my dog. I wish my healthcare was this client centered.

Both Dr. Hickman and Dr. Quatmann are skilled and compassionate veterinarians. We knew both from their previous practices and we're thrilled to have them join forces in the new practice. Our poodle loves seeing them.

I accidentally deleted my first review so here goes number two! This place is 100% amazing. When I first took my dog here we saw Dr Quatmann who is a holistic vet. If I had not seen for myself the results for what she did for my dog I never would have believed it. My dog is bounce-off-the-walls crazy and in minutes she had him calm and relaxed. She actually gave him acupuncture which I would never in a million years believed would work (on anyone!) and for the next two DAYS he was completely calm and stress free. The other vet there, Dr Hickman is just as wonderful. She's a traditional vet and they work beautifully together. The staff is kind and friendly and you can just tell each person there is in this for the right reason. They absolutely love animals. This is the first place my dog actually likes going. I can't say enough good about them. They are completely wonderful in my book.

My beloved, G.R. service dog, Marley, who is almost 11 yrs young, became very sick a few months ago & almost died. I was desperately looking for a holistic vet clinic & found, Dr. Quatman. She is by far & her awesome staff too, the best of the best! Dr. Q, not only helped save my beloved Marley's life but, is continuing to help his healing process, everyday! Dr Hickman and Dr Quatmann are the best!!!

Dr. Quatmann and Dr. Hickman are incredible! They both have cared so well for my dog and his rare/unique muscle disease. Dr. Quatmann has helped him holistically with many natural supplements that have made him much more comfortable and energetic. Dr. Hickman has also provided his dental care including a dental surgery. They both are exceptional and I don't trust my dog with anyone else! They take time and care that I have not seen from any other veterinary practice. I highly recommend their practice!
