Everyone I have spoken with was very nice and helpful. Dr. McLaughlin was very informative and sweet. My two children had to come with me because of it being a snow day. She included them in the visit by asking questions and talking with them. It was so sweet and appreciated! Our kitten was treated like family and overall it was a wonderful first time visit!

Professional, thorough, friendly, and responsible is how I would describe this business. They are operating with everyone's safety in mind in regards to COVID measures, which is very reassuring. Our dog had a reaction to her vaccine, not anyone's fault, but they gave her an immediate exam and free medicine to help her feel better. A++

We had the most wonderful experience with Big Lick Vet. Our dog needed a tooth removed and they were able to get her in for an appointment within a day. Pixie loved the vet tech immediately and felt super comfortable going right in by herself (due to COVID we waited in our car), which was exciting because she usually has a lot of separation anxiety. The tech and even the vet came out and spoke to us, taking plenty of time to explain the next steps of the procedure. They didn't mind that Pixie is a very talkative girl. The veterinarian was willing to do a much less invasive procedure than we were expecting, showing that they care more about the health of the animal than the price tag of the treatment. They were even kind enough to trim her nails while she was there! And it was wonderfully affordable. We are customers for life! I can't emphasize enough how relieved and grateful I am for the smoothness of our visit. Edit: We've now been with Big Lick Vet for about a year and are still extremely happy. They have taken excellent care of our girl!

Today was our first visit at Big Lick Vet with the newest member of our family. The staff there couldn’t have been more welcoming. They doted on our sweet puppy and made us feel like we’d been coming there for years. Dr. McLaughlin spent a lot of time talking to us and answering questions. We look forward to Sunny’s next visit.

Great place for your pets everyone was super nice. They got me in the same day I called, Even though I had never had my dog there. My dog was really loved on and looked like he felt right at home. Definitely going to make this my new vet. Thank you for all love that you showed to my dog it made me feel better having him there. Would recommend this vet to anyone.

This place is amazing! My dog loves this place better than anywhere he’s been in the past 4 years. Natalie gives upfront and solid advice, and the staff is super friendly. I’ve already referred two people! Highly recommended!

My cat Flea, had been sneezing, coughing, and throwing up. Called today and got right in at 3 today! All good. Very prompt service and great Dr’s there. My other cat Willow goes there as well. Had severe itching and loss of hair. Found out she was highly allergic to flea’s and needless to say they gave her a shot and special flea treatment for us to use at home. Love all of the people that work there. Everyone is so nice. Love Big Lick veterans. I would not take my cats any where else ever. PS: I Have had 7 Cats all together.

I felt very comfortable bringing my older cat here! Very, very kind and thoughtful staff work here and you can tell that they are very good at what they do. They were very gentle toward my nervous cat and made her as comfortable as she could be.

Hands down the best at CUSTOMER SERVICE (Lyndsey) which is essentially extinct these days. All of the Doc's and staff have had the pleasure of helping my 2 elderly pups and ALL have been more than helpful ????. We found Dr. Sheppard, Dr. Amos and one of the most caring vet techs (Jacob) I know at a critical time and I believe their attentiveness saved my dogs lives.Highly recommend Big Lick Veterinary services!!

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. McLaughlin and Big Lick! You can tell they truly care about your pets and are a great value. This is the only vet I will ever take my sweet fur babies to!

Dr. Amos and Dr. McLaughlin were absolutely incredible to our boy and out family through months of chemo. They would fit him into their schedule at the drop of a hat and helped us in emergencies outside of office hours. When our boy, Bolt, passed they went above and beyond to comfort our family. We are so grateful for everyone at Big Lick Vet!

Everyone that we have been in contact with at Big Lick Vet has been AMAZING. Our dogs typically see Dr. Amos and Dr. McLaughlin and they absolutely love them. You know you’ve found a great vet when all three of our pups get excited when we pull into the parking lot! Highly recommend.

I am really grateful for the excellent care my dog and I receive at Big Lick Vet. We saw Dr. Nelson today for my dog’s annual exam and vaccines as well as addressing my dog’s seasonal allergies. As always, Dr. Nelson reviewed our options explaining everything very clearly. The support staff was also very kind and helpful. I appreciate Big Lick Vet very much and would highly recommend them.

Lana (sweet pitbull) and I saw Dr. McLaughlin this afternoon and I could not be more pleased with the service we received. The doctor and the technician assisting showed Lana the same amount of love I do! She was welcomed by every staff member we encountered with sweet words, pets, and treats. The doctor took the time to explain every vaccine Lana was receiving and why, as well as put my mind to rest about a bump on my sweet girls shoulder. Lana, who is usually very timid, was giving everyone kisses and left with her tail wagging. We will definitely be returning to Big Lick and I highly recommend Dr. McLaughlin.
