The Golden Bone Pet Resort Pittsburgh, West Virginia

We've been taking our dog to this daycare for over a year. They're always friendly for pickup and dropoff and they really get to know you and your dog. It is family owned and run and you can tell that they care.

The golden pet resort is great! I need to kennel my dogs occasionally to take family trips. One of my dogs has a food allergy and if he doesn't eat the right dog food he has serious intestinal issues for days. The Golden Bone Pet Resort has never messed this up! My dogs come home happy and healthy. I would highly recommend this place for kenneling needs.

My chichuahua needed a particular shot before entry for boarding. Had it on Monday. Somewhat lethargic during the week.Boarded on Friday morning 8a. Seemed like he pepped up over the weekend. Returned for pickup on Monday in excellent spirits. Looking and acting great. Thank you GBPR for such wonderful care on a first visit. We will be returning.????.

For more than about 20 years we’ve boarded dogs at the Golden Bone. These folks are professional, communicative, organized, and committed to the dogs’ well-being. We’ve generally boarded more than one at a time. They are well set up for this. They take the dogs out 4X a day, give them meds if required, and call if they have a question about a dog. Their professionalism makes our travel more pleasant.

Friendly caring staff and nice facility. Were able to care for my cat (including pills!) for a long weekend.

I love taking my fur baby here to be groomed, they take such good care of him and they the staff are amazing.

My dog left boarding with a quarter-sized gouge out of her leg. The staff didn't know how she got it despite being "supervised all day."

I do not suggest leaving your cat here. I left my cat with special food that he is supposed to eat with instructions about the food and they ignored it and claimed they did not know and gave him regular food. I am extremely disappointed by this and they kept telling me before I dropped him that the food situation was not a problem.

The owner treats his employees like family. When the shutdown hit and the dog boarding business evaporated, he drained his retirement fund to avoid laying anyone off. Spend your money here, and you are supporting something good.

Even when we moved north of the city, we still bring Skippy here for day care. Skippy is always excited to see the staff and be there when we walk inside! :)

Everyone was very friendly. An excellent job was done cleaning and grooming dog and she loved the scarf placed around her neck. The cost is really reasonable.

This was our pup's first grooming appointment since we adopted her and she came back happy, clean, and trimmed. Everyone was super friendly and professional, will definitely continue to take her back on the regular.

They have been taking great care of our pets for over 19 years now. Dave and staff are amazing. Would not go anywhere else.

You don't need to worry about your pet when you have to go out of town cause these guys really know how to care for your pup.

We always take the cats here for grooming and boarding. They are great and the people are very caring.

First time there in the last they totally messed up my dog's hair longer on one side than the other did not cut his toenails the haircut was just awful you could see chop marks all through him I will never take him there again and I will never recommend them

The owner of this business truly loves dogs and runs a top notch day care and boarding facility. I highly recommend it.
