Update: 1/18/22 Our dog was limping and in pain, so we thought the ACL on her left leg needed attention. Cheyenne diagnosis was ACL surgery just like the right leg earlier in the year. She underwent surgery, and the recovery did not go so well as did last ACL surgery. Constant limping, pain and medications. The therapists were giving us conflicting statements as to the therapy, the doctor would say one thing, an assistant says another, and through this all, no clear answers. Our dog is still limping, in pain and has the same symptoms we took her in for, before the surgery on her left leg. Today was the end. More medications, now 6 months to a year for recovery.... This clinic has no integrity for us. What a disappointment. Now our dog is CLEARLY having issues, and all we get is conflicting stories as to why. They were paid a lot of money, and that is probably the bottom line. We are looking for another clinic that can at least be truthful with us. If Cheyenne would have avoided the conflicting statements they made to us, and been truthful, we wouldn't be changing our review. I bet the doctors don't even know what stories the clients are being told. Original review: Our dog suffered an ACL injury. As a matter of fact, it was completely torn. After lots of research, we found Cheyenne Vet Center. Alone from the reviews, we decided to visit them for a consultation. We had several consultations and offered different methods of surgery. Dr. Gross put us at ease and really made us feel confident in this procedure. We thought that if our dog could at least walk again, we would be happy. After the surgery, our dog had therapy with Aaron at Cheyenne. He is great. To make a long story short, not only is our dog walking again, but she is her old self, going through the woods off leash and enjoying her life as before the injury. This we did not expect. We want to thank Dr. Gross, Aaron and the entire professional staff at Cheyenne for giving our dog her life back. They are all terrific. They deserve more than 5 stars!

I choose a vet as if I were choosing a Dr for myself. In my 30 years of owing pets, I have never had a Vet with the most compassionate and truly caring bedside manor as I have with Dr Gross. He fixed both of my Labradors torn acls They are both doing fantastic. Erin in rehab / physical therapy went above and beyond with my dogs as if they were his own. I never felt rushed with my questions I just wish I had known about Cheyenne Vet years ago.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff and doctors are at Cheyenne. Dr Gross, Aaron and the vet techs have all been so great with my boxer mix. They have been able to get him in for appointments when there have been concerns after his surgery. Dr Gross explained the surgery to us and helped to make us feel more comfortable about the surgery. Everyone at the practice has been so kind and practice with my phone calls and questions after the surgery. They truly seem to care about the pets you bring in to see them. I am extremely thankful someone recommended them to me.

Not bad place for pets except if you want somebody to go behind your back and take over an animal that wasn't even that person's pet in the first place

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They were able to accommodate me for a drop in check up for my dog. The office is conveniently located for anyone in the South Hills.

. Everyone here took really good care of my little Fozzy wozzy whenever he broke his leg. I was so worried on the day of the surgery but the doctors kept tabs with me and even sent me a picture of how he was doing. They kept in contact with me throughout the process and even called me whenever it was finished and told me how he did. They are very kind, they listen to your concerns, and they're understanding. You can tell every single person who works here loves animals and I mean truly loves animals. They put extra heart and go above and beyond to make sure that you and your fur baby are happy and taken care of. They also walk you through everything that you need to do so that you you're not worried when you take your baby home. They also encourage calling and asking questions when you need help. I will come here forever. It's worth the 40- plus min drive.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with this veterinary clinic. My pets have always received good care by excellent veterinarians and technicians. They are friendly, compassionate and they listen to our concerns regarding our pets. To he fees are pretty much in line with other clinics, and they are willing to work with you regarding payment for major services.

I love this vet clinic. I take all three of my cats there and they have been great. I've gotten great advice and have been treated very good. I recommend this clinic to anyone who has a pet.

I just moved to Brentwood in April & shortly after my dog started declining mostly due to old age. I found myself at Cheyenne Vet after many recommendations & endless research. Dr. Chisler was the doctor that I was put with & I couldn't be happier with the care provided. Dr. Chisler took the time to answer all of my questions, no matter how big or small. She never once made me feel like an overly worried pet parent & seemed to take all of my questions to great concern. Dr. Chisler & the staff at Cheyenne Vet are very welcoming & knowledgeable & I am glad my dog Wishbone found his new doctor & I look forward to her being my cat Roxy's new vet as well. Dr. Chisler had taken blood work/stool samples & by the next day she had called to let me know the results as promised. Good vets can be hard to find. Thank you, Cheyenne vet!

Wanted a second opinion on our retriever's broken leg and ligaments. Got more attention & quality information in 15 minutes than 4 visits to emergency clinic & regular vet. He recommended no surgery. Entire staff was friendly, concerned, & helpful.
