I love my cat more than anything and this is the ONLY place I'd take him. I am very picky about who can even touch him and I trust their nurses to handle him and their doctors to treat him. There are very few places that are not corporate owned these days (even if it seems they aren't corporate owned double check that) but this practice is owned by a private owner. The owner, Laura, is the kind of person who knows everyone by their name and pet's name and genuinely cares about every one. That attitude seems to be passed along to the staff as I have always known kindness from them all. They were with me through the passing of both of my dogs and I am so grateful for that. This is what veterinary medicine should look like.. let's get back to this way everywhere. I am proud to take my kitties here and I don't feel anxiety when they are in MVC's care.

My 16 year old Chihuahua who has a heart murmur needed dental surgery and a growth removal from her leg. Dr. Cole did bloodwork to determine if she was healthy enough for two procedures. My pup passed and surgeries went so well that she can keep up with our Golden Retriever’s now.

When I first met Dr. Cole at PetCentre Animal Hospital, I was immediately impressed with her obvious knowledge. But just as important, she never made me feel rushed, explained in detail what was happening with my dog(s). Some of the detailed information was way over my head, but when I asked questions about what I did not understand, she took a great deal of time to explain things to me in language that made sense to me, that I could understand and learn from. I clicked with Dr. Cole. That was extremely important to me. All the dogs I’ve had through the years have been the most important friends in my life and I cherish every one of them. I had a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Rusty that developed Degenerative Myelopathy. It is a heartbreaking disease as eventually the dog cannot get up and walk. I knew I would have to say goodbye to him but didn’t want a stranger to be part of the process. I asked Dr. Cole to come to my home so that Rusty could be in a familiar place when he crossed the bridge. I have never forgotten the empathy and kindness she showed me. I have followed her from PetCentre Animal Hospital to Marshall Veterinary Clinic. I will continue to follow her wherever she goes. Everyone at Marshall Veterinary Clinic are wonderful people. They truly care about their customers and their pets.

I have been to many veternarian clinics/hospitals as this one was by far my favorite. I was a first time customer with a badly wounded cat that was not a family pet just a homeless cat i had been taking care of since its owner passed. Dr Cole, Julie and all the staff really impressed me. Everyone was kind caring, and efficient. I never once felt like a stranger and my cat was greeted each time like she was a rock star. We had 12 visits and one surgery. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me. On one visit I was not able to attend, my daughter dropped off and picked up the cat and I was allowed to pay on my next visit. The cost and fees were all very reasonable some visits were less than $20. The surgery was explained to me and the cost broke down and presented before the actual surgery. Dr. Cole managed to save all her toes but one and the toes that were saved were done so with natural remedies/treatments. After my experience with Marshall Veterinarian Clinic I will take all my pets there. I had been searching for a place that would treat my cats like one of their own and not look at me like a cash cow because I have their best interest at heart. This is the place!

Little clinic full of great things. The nurse was friendly and very knowledgeable. The doctors provided top notch care. The cost was affordable as well. Will recommend this clinic to everyone based on the level of care.

Couldn't be happier with Laura and her amazing staff. They've always taking great care of our goldens, Charlie and Lily. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone who wants their pets treated like the blessing that they are.

I have been a client at MVC and have been bringing all of my dogs and cats here for nearly 2 years. This morning we called with a puncture wound to one of our dogs’ ears. We were first told by the receptionist that there was evening availability for an appointment, if we were willing to wait, or that there was a 3PM block in their schedule that the receptionist may possibly be able to remove but needed to check with the veterinarian beforehand. The receptionist did not ask our name or the pets name, only if our pet had been seen there before. After waiting on hold, the receptionist came back to tell us that there were suddenly no appointments available for today or even tomorrow after already telling us that there was evening availability and possibly a 3PM slot. After bringing my animals to this clinic on a regular basis for nearly 2 years now, from my point of view, this veterinary clinic just did not want to deal with my animals issue today. Point blank. I will no longer continue to bring any of my animals to this clinic. Had my dog had a severe injury of any kind, I know now that I would not be able to rely or count on this clinic.

This clinic has unfortunately gone down hill, very quickly. It is clear that this clinic is poorly managed. All of the familiar friendly faces are no longer there and we are now greeted with attitude. Front desk reception could care less about your pets, or questions and concerns you may have for your pets. I used to leave this facility feeling like they were part of my pets family, and that they genuinely cared. But this is clearly no longer the case and it is a major disappointment to say the least. I do not reccomend this clinic and strongly encourage others to seek other veterinary services for their pets.

Hands down, after several dogs, the best place for me. Caring, Compassionate, Professional, Ethical and above all, Affordable. I cannot say enough about this small business. They are tops and the best at what they do. I trust them. I recently lost my last dog Charlie and they cared, even after passing. It is beyond words. I take my hat off to them.

I can't say enough good things about the Marshall Veterinary Clinic! Our dog had a large mass on his kidney. His previous vet doesn't do surgery and wanted to send our dog to Northern Virginia for extremely expensive treatment. I searched online and found that Dr. Cole does surgery on kidneys. Dr. Cole and her staff were extremely courteous and conscientious...taking our dog's records, ultrasounds, and x-rays from the other vet and determining that surgery was an option. I received an itemized estimate before the surgery so that I knew what to expect (and it was so much more reasonable than the practice in Northern Virginia). Dr. Cole removed our dog's kidney and the mass...she even came out to our car with us after the surgery to show us how to carefully and properly lift our dog into the car for the ride home. She and her staff provided excellent updates on the day of the surgery and were extremely responsive over the phone when I had questions the day after the surgery. You can tell that Dr. Cole cares deeply about the animals she treats and is extremely knowledgeable. Our dog will be going to the Marshall Veterinary Clinic from now on!
