I am impressed beyond words! My dog is EXTREMELY anxious… going to the vet is not pleasant at all. However, the staff members went above and beyond to accommodate my dog and meet us halfway. I cannot recommend them enough!!

I've been taking my pets to this practice for years; I have been very happy for the most part. The vet called me back to tell me she wanted my collie to stay on the rimadyl....saying she's on a low dose which shouldn't cause any issues. I told her that's fine... I let the Client care advocate know I'd need to have a a refill of the rimadyl...she was basically short with me; not allowing me to ask a couple basic questions. I have had this experience with her in the past ...not good customer service on her part

I can't recommend Leesburg Veterinarian Hospital highly enough. Everyone at the practice is professional and responsive! It's clear they care greatly about the care and attention to my pets. Their well being and stress level is at the forefront of everything they do. Awesome veterinarian practice!

I've always been treated with kindness and respect when I have come into the practice ....the doctor and tech absolutely loved my collie while providing me with a description of what the treatment plan was.

We've had our family animals here for 20+ years and have never been disappointed in the care, or service we've gotten. Dr. Strickland has handled our animals himself many times, including taking care of end of life procedures for 3 of them. Most recently he came to our home to handle that himself. In the days afterwards Dr. Strickland took great care in the written note he sent us. We have also seen several other Veterinarian's in the practice. Overall the practice has performed with perfect professionalism and we could not ask for any better care. Thank you LVH & Dr. Strickland!

Failed to listen to me. $400.00 out of pocket no answers. Would not even let me use the restroom

This review is particularly in reference to the behavioral consultation with Dr Sinn. I paid about $400 for a 40 minute session with Dr Sinn and saw Dr Sinn for 5-8 minutes. The rest of the consultation was performed by another vet, a student I believe. The techs who were there threw treats and took notes watching my dog's behavior while we discussed with the other vet. My dog, a chihuahua, is aggressive and growls all the time, threatened or not. At this appointment we were told to respect the growl and let her be. Now we have a 9 lb tyrant running the house and are dishing out more money to get real training. I filled out the incredibly detailed questionnaire and sent videos of my dog's poor behavior. But none of that was referenced in the appointment. It is possible that this system works for some dogs but I was basically told "she's a chihuahua, growling is good because it's a warning". And now we are playing with the idea of whether or not we can keep the dog. Unfortunately this was a complete waste of money and time.

I adopted a puppy recently and they were able to get me an appointment on very short notice for her second round of immunizations. The drop-off/pickup process went very smoothly and I was able to speak with Dr Turner on the recommended procedures, tests, etc. before they were performed.

I have been coming here for 8 or 9 years now. I love it here. I trust them to care for my pups. This has been a bit challenging lately and adjustments have been made (as they have been everywhere) but they were kind enough to come outside to see my very anxious senior dog so she didn’t have to be separated from us. Customer service can be hit or miss lately but I’m just chalking it up to the times. They are a bit pricier than other vets, but I feel it’s worth it. My dogs are family and I feel confident that the vets at Leesburg Vet takes good care of them.

The only veterinarian clinic in the area I truly trust with my dogs. The doctors are excellent, the entire staff is warm and inviting. Keep up the good work!

We had been taking our Golden here for 3 years things went well the first few years and then there was a huge vet turnover and then a shortage of vets making getting an appointment super hard even just getting a tech appointment for shots was becoming a true challenge. We had a very bad situation with Dr. Henley that was never resolved even after reaching out several times so we have loved our dog to another clinic.

I’ve been going to Leesburg Veterinary Hospital a little over a year now with a special needs dog, but have been going to Dr. Nuzzo for years. Dr. Nuzzo is a rare find because she’s in the field because she cares and not in it for the money and it shows with the care she provides. My little guy recently had a back injury on top of his normal issues, and she jumped in to properly access the issues and work on a plan to make him comfortable and recover from it. She never hesitates to do the right thing or even will do follow-ups on her days out of the office. The staff and environment at Leesburg Veterinary Hospital is also very relaxing and nice. The extra drive time is well worth it and I wouldn’t pick another vet.

I had my friend recommend me this place and my dog is sick so I thought let’s give it a try. I called to get info and the lady was rude and hung up on me. My boyfriend called a week later and the same thing! We explained the situation and they did say due to the virus they weren’t accepting new customers and hung up. I am completely fine with that but there is no need to be rude and hang up. Horrible customer service when this is regarding my sick pet.

Took my corgi for the first time. The whole staff was very friendly and caring. Check in progress was painless and the care my dog got was second to none. I did not feel rushed and the vet was actively listening to me. The treatment plan was clear and I left with instructions and next steps. Facility itself is well designed and very inviting.

I don't wish to give a star. DO NOT take your pet here for an emergency, or any care at all. If you like 'ritzy' looking offices this place is for you. We took our 15 year old Chihuahua to have a sore on his toe looked at. The first vet we saw didn't even look at the sore and just put him on an antibiotic. A few days later our dog is whimpering and won't walk. So, we take him back..long story short I left devastated. We were told what he had is more than likely cancerous and for him to STOP meds. That he needed to have surgery. With his high grade heart murmur we were pretty positive he could die from anesthesia so they wanted us to see cardiology and then a surgeon. She stated if he couldn't have the surgery then 'It was time to put BJ down' She then proceeded to let us know 'this was a bad night for animals' as in - she was telling a lot of patients to put their dogs down. We have then switched all 3 of our dogs to a new practice. They took their TIME and LOOKED at BJs foot. The sore is gone after a round of antibiotics. Please be careful where you take your babies.

I been to 3 area vets over the years, never quite happy nor confident with any of them...until now. Leesburg Veterinary Hospital is so different, and that’s a good thing! At the other places there was always something that either didn’t sound/feel right, or they got flat out wrong, unpleasant employees, and over priced services. My experience here has been exactly what I expect every time. Pleasant employees (front desk, techs, and veterinarians), very knowledgeable staff (they take their time to go over every single thing, and have never once been rushed), fair pricing, convenient hours, and beautiful clean environment...I could go on and on. I know what it’s like to search reviews, which makes you more uncertain the more you read. Just stop right here and call this one! I don’t review things very often, but this place is the best all around!

We came to Dr. Strickland out of desperation... seeking another opinion and possible treatment because our toy poodle, “Buddy”, 16 years old was dying a slow death. Buddy was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease and went from 10lbs to 6.3lbs. It was a pitiful sight. He was nothing but bones and could barely hold himself up. It was suggested to start a chemo drug from the previous veterinarian since Buddy was considered a non-responder to the other medications. This is when we decided to get another opinion. Dr. Strickland, with all of his understanding, display of affection, detailed line of compassionate questions decided against chemo and recommended doubling up on Rx Clay, which is basically vitamins and minerals. Immediately Buddy took a turn for the better and started gaining his weight back to 8.9lbs. We highly recommend Dr. Strickland to anyone who wants proper and compassionate care for their fur babies. He saved Buddy’s life. We are forever indebted to Dr. Strickland.
