It was a good visit. The tech assistant and the vet were thorough. The immediate treatment helped my dog breathe better. If on a weekend and you need to take your pet I recommend their services.

The guys in the office were friendly, professional, and seemed concerned. They ran blood work, diagnosed our cat's condition, and gave us specific directions as to what to do for him. All in all, we had a positive experience, and Moe is doing much better today.

So, I read multiple reviews of this office some or most might be true. But, for me and my dog who decided to eat an entire thing of grapes, this office saved him. We arrived and was quickly brought to the back and were given the medication to start the vomiting process. We stayed for about 3 hrs, 20 episodes of vomiting and then given the green light to go home. It didn't cost an arm and a leg.

About a year ago my chihuahua, Blacky, was attacked by two huskys. They pretty much ripped him in half, there was no chance he was gonna make it. I got really paranoid when this happened I didnt want to lose him. I had Blacky for 13 years. So when that happened I took Blacky to this emergency vet and they were charging me $1,500 up front to attend my dog or they was not going to attend him at all. Everyone there knew that my dog wasn’t gonna make it. I was so paranoid I wasn’t thinking straight so I paid them the $1,500. They took him in and literally like 5 min later they call me that he didn’t make it no refund or nothing. I dont care about the money but how they charged so much for something like that. All they care is about the money for real.

My dog died over the weekend, I called and informed them I wanted her cremated. This lady was straight rude and inconsiderate of the situation. Was acting like I was interrupting her at her job. Learn how to train your staff. The tone of this woman was astonishing.

Thank you! Woodrow F. Call the Bassett hound had a close call with bones in belly. Being the weekend Woodrow's Vet was not available. Thank you all for saving his life.

The staff was very rude and did not even remove bandage completely before writing a bill $400 more than what we eventually paid in Winchester. We felt so uncomfortable we left and drove another hour north.

I put my review on here 2 years ago and now it's not showing up. Dr. Salem is a poor excuse of a pretend to be vet.do not go there . Check his history and ask any vet from here to Maryland about him.i will never forget what he did to my 6 week old puppy.

Called because I was worried that my cat ingested some of my medication and was asking for advice on what to do because I was very worried. Receptionist placed me on hold for over 10 minutes so I called again saying I needed help because I know the medication is toxic to cats & just wanted to know if I should attempt to induce vomiting or WHAT I should do in this situation. Receptionist proceeded to say that they were busy and just couldn’t help me. Absolutely terrible customer service.

Never spoke to an actual veterinarian. Their only concern was getting my money and not answering my questions about a sick dog. Reception was clearly new, or stoned. We quickly removed our dog from their care when it was apparent they were only after the money and little to no compassion. They stated one ridiculous price for pretty much nothing but an exam and some meds, but they overcharged me significantly and refuse to explain the charges. Garbage clinic. Go elsewhere.

Let's clarify something first, "Miss Addison" isnt just a dog!! If she was just a dog, she wouldn't have gotten the treatment she did receive. Granted we picked the wrong emergency vet, your reviews speak for themselves. Secondly if Addison was just a dog, we would've left her and her puppies in your care to "DIE". 3rd we never step foot in the back not even when we watched one of the puppies almost fall from a table that your tech walked off from, leaving wiggling puppies unattended.. "I about had a heart attack" I offered the young girl a hand which she declined. We we're finally invited back to see the nightmare you had created. Addison bleeding from her surgical area and puppies about frozen to death on a cold floor. 4th we didn't remove Addison at this point, if you remember "correctly" We had to leave to go get rice bags and blankets to warm puppies up with.. 5th when we returned nothing had changed and puppies were so cold they we're stiff. Did we panic ? "absolutely" ..Lastly if your gonna tell it, tell it right! we picked Miss Addison up she was never dragged and She was carefully carried to the car out the "backdoor" with your tech. Even that man agreed she needed better care & he works beside you.. LETS NOT FORGET THE LIFE YOU LEFT INSIDE HER TO ROT. Im sure its just a puppy for you but that was a life you stole from Miss Addison. She did receive amazing vet care but not from this poorly run facility. Yes we did turn you in to the board you left a puppy inside her!!! In all my years I've never seen such poor vet care. HOW DO YOU MISS A GREAT DANE PUPPY? You have yet to even acknowledge the life you let "DIE" our complaint is on point and you not acknowledging the mistakes you made in your response says it all. YOU MADE A MISTAKE, OWN IT!!! You never once called to check on her. we called you and you wouldn't even acknowledge that she was even seen by you. PUPPIES we're hospitalized along with Addison..Puppies had fluid in lungs very cold & stiff.. puppies improved after receiving excellent vet care at another vet.. Addison however had to deliver a rotten dead pup 3 days later.. which caused her an infection & could've killed her. Once again If she was just a dog why is she alive and healthy ? I'll tell you why because she is "Miss Addison" she is apart of this family.. We will make sure she gets what she needs, unfortunately we failed her when we picked you. But nevertheless, shes still with us happy & healthy.. We are grateful to the other 2 vets that worked together to clean up your mess. No need to reply to this review!! We can disagree all day long but you know you made the mistake, not us. We did right by Miss Addison by removing her from your morgue.

Took a stray cat to get checked for a microchip. They wanted to charge $75 for it…it’s ridiculous! Most places do this for free. Drove 20 minutes away and got it checked by another emergency clinic for free.

I’m deeply thankful for these guys—they likely saved my dog’s life. I returned from a weeklong trip and after we got home from the boarder’s discovered my dog had the most severe ear infection I’ve ever seen—and he’s a lab. I rushed to the emergency vet so fast I forgot my wallet. They let my partner text them a photo of my ID and got to work (while also dealing with 3 other pets including one that had gotten hit by a car). One week later, he’s recovered. It was expensive but not much more than a previous infection. Obviously worth it. One thing that really helped was how even-keel and communicative the tech and doctor were. I’m so grateful!

I took my cat to this place and I have to agree with the other one star reviews. The vet was not friendly (to me or my cat) and didn’t even bother to know if my cat was a male/female. He would come in and run tests on my cat in front of me without saying a word or explaining the purpose of the test. $400+ later I still took my cat to my vet the next day who did not run any of the tests he did and gave me totally different medicine to treat him. Not to mention I noticed the emergency vet did not sanitize any of the tools he used after he was done using them on my cat. Did I mention they ask for your SSN on the registration form? Shady! When i asked why they needed that information they said I didn’t have to fill that in. Uhm yea I wasn’t going to anyway. But I wonder how many others blindly fill it out and what they do with that info? DO NOT GO HERE. Total rip off-don’t even give the proper treatment plan and just overall rude. Not sure why he became a vet-he doesn’t seem to like animals at all.

This vet needs shut DOWN! I’m reporting them to the state vet board for performing a c-section on a Great Dane, almost killing all the puppies by not rendering proper care to the newborns (no heat, no suction) just letting them lay on the floor lifeless!! Then almost killed momma!!! BUT to top it off more…. This Dam then went on days later to delivery a rotten puppy!!! Days later after her c-section performed here!!!! How do you miss a whole puppy while performing a c-section? Did you even clean and flush momma out?

This is a place to avoid at all costs. My cat had to be put to sleep after going through what they did him. They take advantage of those that are vulnerable and desperate in need of emergency care. They lied about him getting better by purposefully omitting information to try and steal more money from me. My cat goes from being slow from old age, but still happy and playful, to 1 day later gasping for air and in such agony that he needed to be put down. The doctor has had his license suspended and been on probation multiple times, even losing a lawsuit regarding not disclosing fees.

It was Sunday 6-27-21 when our one and half year old cat busted her stitches from being spayed. The staff was very kind and helpful when I called about her around 8pm. After getting cat into the carrier and the drive. We arrived at around 9pm. The staff were quick to exam our cat, make an assessment and give us her options. We chose to try whatever needed to be done to give her a chance. We were fully aware of all possibilities and costs up front. Yes, at first the amount it may seem pricey. But for the care, concern the veterinarian and staff gave. It would have been 5x the price for a human with insurance. But, my wife and I are most thankful for care given to our cat. All focus was on her survival and comfort. Unfortunately, between fluid loss and anesthesia she did not make it. But I am quite confident all was done that could be done. Even in death she was treated with great care and empathy. I am glad they were there and highly recommend.

If you want you loved pet to live do not take them here. Staff were rude and cold, vet gave the wrong diagnosis and wrong treatment. Vet was more worried about going home on time than taking care of our dog. Ended up having to put down our yellow lab because they handled everything so wrong. STAY AWAY!

The doctor and the veterinary nurses were super nice. They worked with us in term of cost and me and my fiancé Cheyanne will be happy to pay the rest of the amount of the bill they gave us. Our situation was pretty dire and they helped us. Though some people had bad experiences here, I must say we felt very welcome here as well as very happy with their service today.

My dog was very sick and the Dr. was able to rule out blockage and proceed with medical care. Was able to pick my dog up after 24 hours of observation. Sent home medicine and food for my dog to continue to get better. I'm thankful they were available to have my dog examined when needed after normal business hours! The staff and Dr was very nice and made sure I understood everything that happened and what needed to be done once home. Again thank you for your care of my dog!
