Typical PetSmart, but really helpful staff and veterinary department.

Also has grooming, training, and vet services. Not all petsmarts have all of these services.

I just recently moved to gainesville after living in Sterling for 17 years. Today I had a grooming appointment today at 10:30am. My car ended up having issues starting up for whatever reason and I wasn’t able to get on the road until 10:35, I get to petsmart at 10:45ish, I ask the lady if they were still willing to take my dog in. I was not going to be upset if they told me they were going to since I was 15 minutes late. She told me to wait for the assigned groomer (Barbara) I chose to come back and we will see, which I had no problem with that. Once Barbara came back They asked her if she was still willing to take my dog. Barbara gave no response and tells them to print out the information. While she’s filling her part out she tells me “I called you to cancel your appointment” I was confused because I never received any phone call, I check my call history and nothing. So I ask if she remembers what phone number she called she responds with “whatever phone number is on there” in a rude way. I was already regretting the choice of taking my dog here. Once I filled out the paperwork Barbara pats my dog twice and doesn’t bother to check her for Matt’s or anything. I started to feel like she was not going to do her job well. As I handed her my dog, I was deciding whether I should just cancel and take my dog to the petsmart in sterling, since I was already comfortable with the groomers there. But I decided to hope for the best and hope that she would be kind with my dog. I came back two hours later and was told my dog was handed off to brandy who was so much nicer to me. I felt really relieved when I heard Barbara was not the one who worked on my dog. Overall, the situation could have been worse but I know that on my part I was late and should’ve called but I was in such a rush the thought of calling them flew past me. But Barbara could’ve just told me she wouldn’t take my dog since I was late and I wouldn’t have been upset.

If you want your furry baby to be treated with TLC ask for Rose! She is the BEST! If Rose leave the Gainesville location….we will have to relocate as well. Thank you, Boss’s Mother

Employee's friendly need more variety of of treats for puppies

I love this store they rarely are out of stock of items. Staff friendly, manager always very helpful when I don need help he seems to always be in the correct spot on salesfloor.

Everything needed for different types of pets. Groomers are kind and friendly and do a great job with a very active puppy!

It was great. They had exactly what we needed and checking out was great. Social distancing at checkout was nice to see.

I get crickets here for my gecko. They are very friendly and care about my pets. Will chose this location over the one closer to my house.

Wide variety - plenty of stock.. store was clean employees were helpful.

My new pup, Handsome (because he so handsome) walked in a little anxious have never being in a PetSmart before. PetSmart's organized but still daunting to a new dog Dad. Staff could tell right off the bat and one by one helped me pick essentials and fly gear for my pup; throwing so me gems of doggy knowledge my way at the same time. Handsome and I were laughing and wagging the entire time there and left feel more confident and excited about our life together ahead. Thanks to the staff for just being themselves and putting a good rub on my pup!

Great place for all your pet needs

Please do not take your dog here. My dog was limping when I picked her up and now has to be on medications due to having neck pain that is causing her to limp. Every time she tries to walk she yelps. My dog was in perfect health condition before entering the grooming facility. Consider another grooming facility before this one. Really disappointed with the way they handle this case. In the 6 years that my dog has been getting groomed this has NEVER happened. My dog is a sweet girl who has never caused any issues with groomers.

Clean and friendly. The lady at the cash register saw how much stuff I was purchasing and helped me find coupons to save!

I like the way they helped me out by being patient with me and so willing and let me make my choice they always give me good service thank you ????

Good spot for pet needs

That gave me so much false information about my fish I worked so hard to do what they said but then we found out it was so wrong. Now I cry every night about how much I miss them ????

Well staffed and very neat. Also very well stocked. I bought some African Cichlids and the employee who helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought 9 different ones and he told about each one.
