Amazing staff, and wonderful environment. Our dog Jersey loves going and we feel so comfortable knowing she is in amazing hands!

Unfortunately, my sweet boy Rudder won’t be returning to Dogtopia. He has enjoyed safe, fun play with his doggie pals for a year. But, yesterday when I picked him up after a day of play, I was told he’d been involved in an “altercation.” As Rudder was taken into the playroom, and was excited to see his friends, a 100+ pound Great Dane pinned him to the floor. “Since there was no injury”, I wasn’t contacted. It was further explained that the Dane would now have to be crated when dogs are entering the room - to avoid this aggressive behavior. Door aggression is grounds for dismissal of the aggressive dog. This was explained to me a year ago as part of the protocols to maintain a safe environment. So, why is this Dane being given a pass to continue coming? Sounds like money has become more important than safety. With this dynamic, I have lost confidence that my boy will have a safe play environment. Enjoy that money from the Great Dane family. You’ll lose Rudder visiting 1-2 days a week, and money for baths. We won’t be back. Let’s hope that 100+ pound dog doesn’t pin another playful pup. The bully on the playground outweighs all the dogs, and is allowed to stay after his act of aggression on my sweet boy.

everything has been fabulous - the team is great with the dogs - they keep them in line and keep the facility clean and are always there to help us out.

I will not take my puppy here any more, I can not believe they let him go 12+ hrs without eating, when I picked him up I asked if they fed him dinner, they said not yet that was at 6:30pm... when I came home and checked his bag, he didn't eat breakfast either, when I called Dogtopia to ask why he wasn't fed all day, a very very rude employee told me that my dog didn't want to eat all day.. which is weird because as soon as I came home he ate all of his food

Dogtopia is a safe, clean and fun place for my dog! Dogtopia is the only time my dog doesn’t mind being separated from me. He just loves it! The staff is simply great!

Brittany has been grooming my dog for a couple of years now. She does a wonderful job!

Brutus transferred from Manassas center and I'm so happy we did!! Brutus has made new friends, and is a better fit in Gainesville!

They take really great care of our pups. Always good dropping them off and knowing they are in good hands. Staff is kind a caring - super attentive to doggos/puppers individual needs.

My golden doodle had her "meet and greet" and her first day session at Dogtopia. She was a little nervous going into the meet and greet but the staff made her feel welcome and she has experience with other formal and informal dog play areas. I observed her watching how everything worked in her play area and joining in to meet new dogs. She was ready to go right in for her first full day session a few days later. Her tail was wagging and she put her paws up on the front desk to greet a staff member she met before. Not my favorite thing for her to do but it showed her enthusiasm to return. She had a great time and made several friends according to the lovely note the staff provided me at the end of the day.

Please be careful taking your dog here. They have had 10 recent known cases of kennel cough. After advising management I was told they are not going to send out a newsletter or post this information to make pet parents aware. This is completely irresponsible on their part as pet parents should have the choice if they want to KNOWINGLY exposure their dog to the illness. Yes my dog is vaccinated and still got sick from the 4 hours he was here. Dogtopia, please advise your customers of this outbreak, it’s the right thing to do!

The staff are friendly and my dog loves visiting his pet pals. This gives me peace of mind every time.

Love the convenience and care for our pup. We love that during boarding he isn't confined to a run. He gets max socialization with other dogs of all breeds and gets love and pet from humans. Not to mention, they are the only ones he let's cut his nails!

Don't take your dogs here for grooming. I had a scheduled grooming appointment for my 2 dogs. They wouldn't groom my dogs. The girl behind the front desk said the groomer went home. I asked to speak with the manager and was told that she will be out shortly. She never came out to speak with me. About 25 minutes went by and still no manager! Don't waste your time!

Dogtopia has outstanding customer service and you can really tell they love dogs and care for your fur baby. We love the fact we can utilize the video feed to see our furbaby when we’re away.

If I could leave NO stars I absolutely would. I took my dog there for the first time for a bath and nail trim. When I picked him up he was covered in fecal matter and his paws were bleeding and so were his nails. My poor baby was so anxious when I picked him up and he was in serious need of water. Never Again!

Hazel loves everyone there and gets very excited to spend the day playing in a safe environment with her fur friends.

Staff is always very polite and professional. Our pet is treated with love and cared for greatly.

They help my high strung sheltie stay safe and sane when being home might stress him out. The webcam access is reassuring, though picture quality and availability could be better. The events they offer occasionally are a nice bonus.

Our lil man, Hammer, has a blast when he goes to doggie daycare. He was slow to join in but on the second visit he was having a time of it. Thanks Kaitlyn!!

We’ve always had a great experience at Dogtopia Gainesville. They take great care of our pup and she loves seeing her furry friends!
