I'm always amazed at how good this clinic is! Not just the pricing, the staff, and the veterinarians; but the customers are also friendly. Always a pleasant experience even with the current Covid guidelines, this clinic goes above and beyond!

We have been going to Companion Animal Clinic in Gainesville since 2017. All three of my bulldogs love Dr. Kunze and Dr. Dove. Highly respected in the Bulldog community.

Love this practice! I drove 110 miles to use them because they offer reproductive services anlt a much more reasonable rate than I can get in the Richmond area. The staff and vets have been fantastic! I will continue making the drive for them for all non-emergency repro vet care. Thank you all so much!

Great people. Trust worthy. Sometimes they run late for appointments but that's likely due to the great care your animal receives. My Golden has been under their care for over 11 years.

I primality see Dr Natalia Kunze at this practice. The majority of. my visits deal with dog reproduction. I depend on Dr. Kunze's and Dr. Dove's excellent skills as reproductive specialists.

I brought my dog here for a fertility test because two commercial DNA health companies gave me results suggested she might be infertile. Drove over an hour to get there and waited in my car an hour after my appointment time only for Dr. Kunce to come out to my car and tell me to leave, handing me some print-out about going to some website to test my dog's dna to determine her genetic color. I explained that color had nothing to do with why I was there and she kept telling me to do other non-commercial tests before she would do anything. SHE was supposed to be the non-commercial test. It's absolutely absurd that she wouldn't even do an examination on my dog and kept telling me to get my dog's color tested. I can see my dog. I know what color she is. Also, I know how dog color genetics work. I have no idea what miscommunication occured before my appointment, but it's insane to me that my telling her I wanted to be seen was unheard. Eventually, she got visibly frustrated and offered to take my dog's blood to send off for tests, but still was not understanding that I wanted a full physical examination and imaging done to confirm or deny the **6** commercial tests I've already done, each leading to these same results. My dog potentially has an incredibly rare issue and I wanted that confirmed or debunked. Just because it's rare doesn't meant you should tell me to leave and try yet another commercial DNA brand.

It was o.k. I had to wait an hour outside.

Going to Companion Animal Clinic for 21 years now and as I move farther West I still go there. Only the best for my animals. Love everyone at Companion Animal Hospital! Wonderful team of people working together. Life would be very difficult without them.

Dr. Dove is a gentleman and a scholar. He treated my family with care and concern and he was generous sharing his knowledge.

They were very helpful with our first Frenchmen litter. Can’t wait to work with them again!

Slow , I had an appt . Was seen 50 minutes after the appointed time , still waiting on lab results that I was advised I'd here the results of. The next day. Ugh !!!!! Where's the customer service ,

She’s a gifted reproductive specialist, and surgeon. The entire staff is wonderful, and like family. It’s invaluable to have such trusted, quality, loving care for our beloved animals. Thank you for providing the best of care for my dogs.

Dr. Dove was highly recommended through French Bulldogs of Virginia. He could not have been nicer, and the staff is just as nice as well. I feel at ease scheduling my dog's surgery there.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Dove and Companion Animal Clinic in Gainsville Va. Took our French Bulldog there due to Brachycephalic issues and right from start I knew I was in the right place. Doctor came out and took his time asking us questions about his issues and answering ours. For first time felt like someone had our dogs best interest in mind and not about how much money they could make off of us. The hospitals near me wanted thousands to do the procedures. Im sure they would have told me he needed all three types but Dr. Dove felt he only needed the Nares and the price was VERY reasonable. Great people I could go on and on. Thanks to entire staff of Companion!

Funny when I see negative posts, then open their account most of these people post negative posts. Ok here goes 10 out of 10. This clinic is top notch and these Veterinarian's are hands down outstanding. The staff is superb. Its busy because they are committed. But they NEVER decline any emergency ever. If they are unable to see your animal then they will advise emergency services by case. This clinic is as actually 24x7 by a real answering service for you and the Doctors. We've been going on 20 plus years now. They treat you like family.

I called them at 8 this morning to see if I could speak to any doctor for my dog Jr. due to his diabetic condition. The receptionist Becky cut me off mid sentence and made it seem my issue wasnt a big deal. But told me they would call back. But never recieved one so i called them 30 mins before closing and told me that i should take my dog to another vet to get him examined and then hung up on me.

They're the best, trust them completely!

Called today just to inquire about information for our dog (general vaccine prices, etc) Receptionist was nasty. Sighed multiple times. Told me she has 20 people ahead of me and cannot answer my questions right now. I wish she would have said her name so I could further report her. Good luck!

We’ve been here a few times for progesterone testing since their one of the few that give “same day results”. Well their not same day or not during the time they say! After paying for the test Monday and waiting all day they tell me results won’t be in till Tuesday. After I paid FULL price! Then today I go for another and it’s almost 7pm and no call! I’ve been calling since 3 since that’s when their suppose to be available and NOTHING! Now their closed and the doctor still hasn’t called. Had to leave a message with the answering service! Don’t waste your time find another vet!

Dr. Dove takes the time to explain everything about my pets ailment, what options I have, long term prognosis, etc. They have very reasonable prices also. I was very happy with my experience there and will keep going back for veterinary needs.
