I had to go put my baby to sleep, they were so kind and I think we're just as heart broken as I was. They had to care of him for a week and a half the first time, I couldn't have asked for a better experience with that. They loved and took care of him like their own. It broke my heart to have to lay him to rest, but he's in a better place without pain. He not only touched my heart, but theirs as well. He will be greatly missed.

Unfortunately I have a sick elderly hound and was in need of a vet after moving back from Columbus. I called several vets in the area and couldn’t get an appointment. I then called Colonial (which I wish would’ve been my first dial)! Never have I felt so comfortable and seen my dog so comfortable while in their care. Dr. Justice and staff are hidden gems in this area! The compassionate care they gave my dog (AND ME) more than exceeded my expectations! Dr. Holly Justice will remain my Vet for the remainder of my life. She and her staff are a blessing to the furry community and us owners! If you haven’t checked them out, you’re missing out!

They've helped me let go of 2 of my babies. One had cancer and another had end stage liver disease. We've gone in on Saturdays and they've asked us to wait a bit. I have never minded because I know they are wanting to give us privacy and time. They use the two shot method. That's a sedative and then the last one. It's painless and they simply fall asleep. It happens very fast and they've always given me time and then given me a ink of their feet and a footprint casting. Every single person there has been nothing but compassionate and they are worth every single penny! I'm so sorry I cannot remember names but you've won a spot in my heart forever!!

Treated rudely by staff when having to put my dog to sleep. Bc of covid, she was taken from me at the door & was told an hour later that it was done & handed me the bill. No goodbye, no comforting her, no last hug. Cash or card? ????

I moved to this vet a couple years ago when my last vet ghosted me when I had an emergency with my cat. The people here are always very kind and knowledgeable. They have a live for animals that can be observed. Prices here are affordable, although payment plans are nonexistent without excellent credit. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a home vet.

Dr. Abbott is an amazing vet and very attentive. The office manager, Meghan, however could use a course in business management and etiquette, as well as care required for dogs. When you pay $1000+ for care, you don’t expect to pick up a dog covered in feces, urine, and vomit as well as a matted coat. I called the office and attempted to speak with her about this issue-and after assuring her I wanted no money off any bills or anything like that, she remained defensive and very rude. She was very dismissive, spoke over me and said there was nothing she could do to resolve the issue. She then complained about the hours that her staff had to work to care for our animals, when that is exactly what they were being paid to do. When you call daily to check on an animal and are told every time that they are doing well and fine, you assume just that. Dogs have accidents everyday but a doodle requires more upkeep, and any dog with long hair that repeatedly lays in their own mess will become matted. Keep in mind this is an animal who is completely house and crate trained and hasn’t had any accidents in over a year! Bathing today wasn’t the issue-it’s the prolonged exposure to feces and urine. Even just a heads up that he would need groomed when we picked him up would have sufficed. We were paying for bathing today but due to work schedules had to pick up early and assured the office staff the bathing wasn’t an issue. We most certainly won’t allow them to take care of our animals ever again, and I don’t recommend it for anyone else either. Our other dogs were fine and seemed happy when we picked them up, but this is absolutely unacceptable. I only called to alert her to the issue so it wouldn’t happen to another animal in the future-and even said that to her. I am only posting so someone doesn’t have the same issues in the future.

I really appreciate the effort Dr Jenkins put into me asking questions about importing a cat to Iceland. I an not even an existing patient and she took her time to understand the issue. I will defiantly go here in the future if I need to.

I arrived today at 4:49. This i know because I checked the clock when I pulled in. I called as instructed on the door. I go to get a cat "pill" for my mother's cat. She is 92 yrs old and feels that her cat needs a flea pill because it goes in and out of the house. As our dogs receive a pill for fleas. I'm usually not one for writing reviews but when the girl answered the phone, she opened the chart on the computer to the right account. We discussed what medication was needed and so forth. Then she says "We're closing you'll have to pick that up in the morning. " When literally it was behind the girls chair (or it was before the covid virus) all she had to do was turn around pick it up off a shelf maybe chart a few words in the computer plus because of covid carry it to my car and run my credit card. I live a bit if a distance from flatwoods and Conner in once
