Me and my pups love this place

It’s with a heavy heart that I have to write this review after using this vet for my 2 fur babies for over a year and now I come to a huge problem with them. This miss diagnosed my 17week old puppy with a broken leg and told me that it could be a hair line fracture but Dr. Carpenter wasn’t sure and to keep her confined for 2 weeks and prescribed pain medication. However was told if wasn’t better to come back in 2 weeks. She never got better only worse as the days were going by and I called multiple times to get her in and was told that the doctor was out all week and to call back the next week. I call back the next week and the office staff refused to fit me into the schedule and told me to go somewhere else. I took my poor puppy to a local vet hospital and was told after several X-rays and intense examination that the leg was broken and needed surgery 2 weeks ago when I first took her to Middletown but now the puppy has to suffer with a not healed properly broken leg as it was too late to preform the surgery that was needed. I decided that I was taking my business else where and I needed my records from both my animals and the staff once again was disrespectful and rude and didn’t want to give me the records and I had to take time out of my busy day to go there and pick them up. This office and veterinary is a joke and I will not be going back nor will I refer anyone there.

Wonderful staff! They were the first to respond to my pup after being hit on the interstate. They stabilized him and sent him where he needed to go. Days later they called to check up on him. They truly care!! ????

All vets are pricey and this one is no different. The staff is very nice and it's not too difficult to get an appointment through the cancelation list.

All the staff were very kind to us on a very emotional day.

I had appt at 2:15 and was seen at 2:40. I understand appts can run over. My problem was that I arrived at 2:05 and another lady came at 2:15 for her 2:00 appt. She was seen before me and when I told the tech she said they go by appt t ime so you might as well be late!

They only place I take my animals.

Always a great environment. Everyone is so nice and knows exactly what is needed to make my animals feel better ????

They were great with our dog

They took good care of me and my pet. I have to add that I had to have both my dogs euthanized within months of each other and the staff were so nice and graciously made it a better experience for us as well

I’ve taken my pets to Middletown Animal for 40+ years and never had an issue. I will continue using them for every pet. ❤️ Them

They always do a great job

I moved to this area little over a year ago and I kept meaning to get a new vet. Unfortunately we don't realize how important our vets are until there needed. My lab biscuit got into a fight with another dog and had a bad cut on his hip. I called no kidding 10 mayb 15 different Vetanarians office all were full not once did anyone I talk to the Vet. to see if we could be fitted in until I called Middletown animal hospital. She asked if they could fit Biscuit in and they said they would b happy to. We got there and called to check in I expected to wait a long time since we didn't have an apt. But they came to get him in less than 15 minutes which is normal time when u do have an appointment they kept me updated the whole time . I Also expected to pay extra because it was an emergency visit but after 6 staples, office visit, 2 medication and rabies vaccine I was only charged 158 dollars. I need to add Biscuit normally wont let strangers to touch him but he went with vet tech happily dogs can tell if people are kind even when we can't. I will only use Middletown clinic from now on they went above and beyond for Biscuit I'm so grateful for them in our time of need. Thank you so much

Probably the best animal clinic in Fairmont.

My dog vader broke his leg and this so called vet Fraley supposedly set it after charging over 500 dollars then after two weeks said the splint wasn't working and took it off. Now my dogs leg is messed up looking.Something as simple as a fracture couldn't even be treated here ! Don't take your pet here!!!! The cheaper way is not the better way!!! Seriously don't take your pet here!!!

They have it arranged where they now walk to your vehicle to take your animal inside. We sit in our car and wait. Which is honestly a little better with weather permitting than everyone hoping out pets behave themselves while waiting inside.

The staff was very attentive to the extreme health needs of our dog. They did extensive testing, diagnosed her issues, and provided 2 meds that are helping. They also did a follow up phone call to check on our dog's health status. We still have our dog and we are hopeful for extended time with her. We were pleased with their professional help.

Great Vets, been going there for years. The first dog I took there lived 18 years. Had a cat and now have 2 more dogs. Always have gotten great care and service. Highly recommend to all!
