I walked into this store today, walked 2.4 miles after leaving my 10 hour job and found the section for 'small animals' fully stocked of everything other than hays and grasses. I use this location because it is the closest location that fits my schedule best, and they have been better than their local competitors at product availability and hours.. I flagged an employee after quickly discovering the store had nothing other than pellets and supplementary food that my guinea pigs need on a regular basis. I asked her when they would have hay back in stock and she told me(today being Wednesday) it would arrive tomorrow and would be restocked on Friday. I would have talked myself out of this review. I work in the restaurant industry, so i try to give other industries, businesses, cultures, and primarily their workers the benefit of the doubt... But walking into my apartment and hearing my guinea pigs immediately wheek and chirp at me, it immediately broke me. My 2 adult Guinea pigs do not understand that this location, whether it's due to supply issues or poor product ordering or whatever i can assume, They don't understand that they wont have hay, which is literally the primary part of their diet.. which wont be a product available for another... lets say 36 hours? That is, if my math is right, based on the employee i talked to estimate of arrival and stocking. So tomorrow i will be scraping together the bits of hay feed around their habitat(i have rotating fresh vegetables that i give them every day+pellet supplements) to attempt to keep them properly fed until Friday. A date that i hope is the last time i purchase something from this pet provider location.. I'm mostly just disappointed i have to turn to an online provider when a company and location I like, fails to provide me with a product I need to support the animals that depend on me. This is the one time you hear from me, at least, you don't have to hear from me again. I do however, have to hear from my best Cavvie boys. Thank you for your time.

They sold me a Syrian hamster they are kept alone because they dont get along with other male hamsters I noticed he had a small patch on his back it was ringworms so if they only get it from infected in closures that means they don’t clean the cages for the next single hamster that came not only that the sales person didn’t have a lot of knowledge on the animals

I believe the cashiers name is Rae Rae. He was very kind and noticeably new to working at Petsmart. His attitude was wonderful throughout trying to figure out how to ring up crickets. Keep it up. Your kindness doesn't go unnoticed.

Not too bad for pet supply. I'd recommend never buying fish from a PetSmart because they're often diseased with a low survival rate.

I went in this store today for help with fish supplies that I know nothing about - it is a fish tank at my job. I asked for help and this girl came. I was trying to explain to her some items I had that I needed and other items that I had boxes for in my hand I also needed. She was rude and condescending. The manager walked down the aisle and I asked if he had the filter I was looking for. He told me, "He had never seen anything like that before in his life and they didn't carry anything like that." I told him well it was purchased from the Petsmart in Forest Lakes. As a manager, he is setting a fine example for his employees. Potentially that is why they act the way they do - they see it all day!

Items were in the wrong spot and wasn't given the price it stated on the shelf. Other than that It was a perfect experience and got everything I needed.

This location is okay for supply needs, however, they greatly lack in employees that seem to care for animals. I’ve been in numerous times over the last couple of months and each time, there have been sick fish. Upon notifying an associate, her response was, “yes I know but they won’t do anything about it.” This evening while picking up dog food, I happened across a series of tanks with countless dead fish and fish that were near death. When I asked the general manager about the situation, he contributed the deaths to stress from shipment and stated he had yet to see any ich present in the tanks. His attitude was very “nonchalant” and clarified why there is such an issue.

Went to get fish and it took forever to get help from an employee. It was another employee there who addressed my questions after we chose fish in the cups for ourselves. Also wanted to get a cat one day and the employee acted as if she really didn’t want me to get the cat with all of these questions before the adoption process even took place and I really didn’t have the time that day so I didn’t because my ride was waiting on me. Kind of a bummer because my children and I really love animals and they were expecting a cat when I got home.
