We got there near closing time, but we didn't have to wait long for our dog to get checked. Doctor was very informative about our dog's condition and keeping us updated.

People are very nice. Had my dog euthanized. Would have been a glowing 5 star review but afterwards I found that I had to pay an additional $140 because they didn't explain the cremation process and sent my dog to a funeral home instead of processing in house. Then when I called to ask about that I was told I was also charged a $55 exam fee. No exam happened. I brought my dog in to be put down and cremated for $135. I ended up paying almost $300. They did credit me the exam fee back though. I don't think they were being shady, I just think it was a mistake coupled with not explaining their services and prices very well. Again, though, very kind people. I would go back again.

Expensive, but good animal care, and very very slow, expect a long wait time

My first and only dealing with this place left a bad taste in my mouth, myself and my 31/2 month pup sit there Saturday for three hours, only to be turn away at noon, due to them closing, that shows me that they are only there for a paycheck, not to take care of our family members.

The staff at Cross Lanes Veterinary hospital are amazing, compassionate and kind. Sadly my best buddy was diagnosed with cancer last month. The whole team took great care of him and kept me updated constantly. They are wonderful.

My boy is getting old, many different ailments for which, I was taking him to another vet in S. Charleston but never had any positive outcomes. One trip here and my boy showed signs of his old self... Even though he is still declining in his health due to his age, it gives me solace knowing that his time remaining with me will be the best most comfortable we can give him! Thanks to the Dr.'s and staff in helping my best friend out living his golden years without pain and suffering! Words can't express my gratitude!!!

My girls and I had a wonderful experience at our first appointment at CLVH. The staff was very friendly and warm. We were seen quickly-hardly any wait time. They helped me to bring them in to an exam room and listened to all my thoughts and concerns and offered sound advice. I feel like we received excellent care! I’m so glad that they were recommended!!

We have taken our dog here for over six years, and aside from being on the more expensive side, we’ve been happy with the care he has received. However, the last two times we’ve called for sick visits, we’ve been told we have three options. (BTW, our dog’s issue was something they have treated him for many many times in the past.) We can wait 5-6 weeks for a sick visit appt., call off work and wait in the parking lot to hopefully be worked in between appointments at some point throughout the day (no guarantees though), or take him to the 24 hour emergency vet clinic. We’re very disappointed they appear to have become so busy they cannot provide a standard of care for their long time patients. And the employee on the phone didn’t even pretend to care or feign compassion for our pet. On a happier note, another vet in Charleston worked him in that same day. He was nearly septic and has made a full recovery.

Take good care of our pets. Been going there for almost 20 yrs.. If not for the care there I'd have went somewhere else.

Really excellent and competent group of folks here. I have both dog and cats as patients with CLVH. They are really pro-education as to pet health issues, and prevention.

We have a large furry crew and unfortunately we have emergency visits that come up and Cross Lanes Vet Clinic has always been there! You can tell they love what they do by the way they love and care for our fur babies!! Can never thank them enough for always being there!! This visit our little guy Rocky (in pic) had hurt his leg and they were wonderful!! And he is back to his little spunky self ❤️

They only wanted the best for our Minnie, even as a new patient to them. We were referred to OSU for extensive treatment, because it was her best option.

They have always taken great care of Max, this time Max was attacked by a deer, we called on our way to the hospital and he was quickly examined and cared for by staff. The staff and doctors are amazing and explain everything step by step and inform you what to expect. Like most pets, Max doesn’t like going to the doctor but they do everything possible to make it stress free for the animal.
