Over the Christmas weekend our cat became ill with pancreatitis. Very grateful we have Pet Emergency Service. Everyone there was friendly and helpful.

They wanted to charge me 500 dollars to remove my dogs toenail. The nail was barely hanging on and they just needed to pull it. 130 just to be seen, 40 bucks for what they call outpatient hospitalization (which is really the time they have the animal instead of you, because they won't let you wait with your pet), the bandage was 30 dollars (you can get this for 5 bucks at any pet store.) Thats just some of the bill, charge after charge. The response to clarfying questions about the bill was "we're a hospital." Took 2 hours, for a toenail. I know many will ask why not do it yourself or go elsewhere? Still would have been 130 dollars wasted. It is not open 24 hours, no appointments, and we had to wait in the car (it was 19 degrees out so we ran the car heat for 2hrs, weren't allowed to leave or there would be a 120 dollar fee). If the injury is minor, wait to see your regular vet or handle it yourself if possible. Too expensive and your pet will be without you mostly.

You guys call your self an emergency pet service yet you would not help me with my Chameleon. Could not see him and because of you my chameleon died! It should be you see any one's pet!

Saved my dogs life. My chihuahua over fed her babies. I woke up to her heavily breathing and her legs were stiff as a board. I thought she wasn't going to make it. I took her in and within 30 mins she was taken care of. Back to normal. She was low on calcium. Helped me out on the pricey bill. It was worth it tho. Thank u

Staff was great and took excellent care of my 4 legged family member. Price wasn't as outrageous as I had expected and there was hardly no wait.

About 3 years ago, I had to rush my 6 mo old puppy into Yakima Pet Emergency after finding her with a block of rat poison. They spent quite a long time feeding her activated charcoal and having her puke. They were honest and told me she probably won’t make it. But sure enough, they saved her life and we got our best friend back. As a result, Miley was very mistrusting of people after that and was very skittish. Because of this incident, I’m a full time dog trainer specializing in behavior modification. My goal was to help Miley feel more comfortable. But it turned out to be much more than that. So I owe Yakima Pet Emergency and the employees involved, a great debt. I would like to repay this debt in some way..I know you guys have a good samaritan program, I’m interested to hear more about how I can help.

I went into Yakima Pet Emergency scared as my puppy was vomiting and lethargic. All of the employees I talked to were extremely helpful and kind. They helped me feel relaxed over a scary situation. My puppy was given the care he needed and they sent us home with him feeling significantly better. Thank you! I definitely recommend taking an animal in need of emergency service here.

The most expensive in the state for mediocre service. When told a price for payment, they ALWAYS alter it and give you ridiculous reasons like "shift change responsibility". You seriously charge for shift change? I called every vet in Ellensburg and they claim its bogus, this clinic is intentionally ripping people off because they know theyre the only choice within 30 miles and its disgusting. Taking advantage of people and then playing on their feelings for their animals like, "dont you think they're worth it?" Is sinister and downright wrong. I'll drive the extra 30 miles from now on, avoid this place like the plague!

Very fast service. I was able to get my pet in and treated in a reasonable time frame. Glad to know they are here when needed.

Made rude comments that were very much opinionated and unnecessary. Had to wait hours and WAS EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. Will be going to Mid Columbia in Pasco next time for an emergency vet!

They had me drive down there 3 times to wait in line for my cat with a BROKEN leg to get seen just to have them tell my wait time went from 30 minutes / 1 hour to an upwards of 8 hours .. they knew she was in pain and watched her fall over crying unable to walk yet still did nothing for her because other animals took presidence in their words . Which in a sense i can get if it's an emergency but she wasn't even triaged or anything. By the time she saw her vet the leg was to far gone and needed to be amputated

During a visit to Packwood over the Memorial Day weekend my 10yo maltese was showing signs of distress/pain. I drove 1.5 hours to Pet Emergency Services of Yakima, and my little dog received the best care. Dr. White spent a considerable amount of time explaining the diagnosis as well as the follow up care. Bloodwork needed to be done and the results were so fast. Because of Covid-19 there was curbside service, they team was wonderful and pleasant even tho it was close to 2am. I never had the opportunity to thank Dr. White in person, so hear it is in a review! THANK YOU.

They were responsive which was nice. Over priced for services because they were the only emergency vet available.

Provided additional helpful information and directed us to a great vet who sees exotics on a regular basis.

I brought my dog Pepper in on a Saturday and for being an emergency hospital they got her in pretty quickly! Turns out my pup had an intestinal blockage, and they were so informative throughout the whole process from diagnostics to treatment. The Vets and the Vet techs were all amazing and so kind. Thankfully my pup passed whatever the blockage was over night and ended up not needing surgery. They called with every update of how she was doing and what steps they were going to take next to get her feeling 100% I never felt left in the dark about what was going on. Thank you to all of you guys for helping her!!
