Best vet we have found since moving to the Yakima area 1.5 years ago

They took extra care of my dog that was diagnosed with pancreatic infection which is very painful. They took the time to find the problem and resolved it with the right medication. During the process, they limited the pain, also.

We are not from this area, just visiting. Our 15 yr old lab suddenly collasped in late afternoon. I called several vets in the area but they were unable to see her. Terrace Heights Family Vet said bring your dog on in. (It was 4:30 pm & they close at 5)...the staff & vet stayed late to help us & take care of our lab. They were very caring and compassionate...I highly recommend Dr. Jay and his staff

We have been going here for a little under a year and love it. We have 2 cats who are scared of their own shadows most of the time, but love seeing not only Dr. Hays but the ladies who work upfront. They know us when we walk in and very obviously love and care for our animals like their own. Our male cat, Thad, has had 3 surgeries here and they have worked with our schedules for check ups and helped us understand what we need for him to be happy and healthy. We even have moved recently a bit farther away but love this vet clinic so much that we drive a little over an hour to go to vet appointments. If you want a place where they care and will help every way possible, then this is the place!

Dr. Mike is great and his staff are all very nice. It's obvious that they all love animals. We switched to them a few months ago and couldn't be happier. Thank you all for your wonderful care of our furbabies.

I just recently started taking our animals here my last appointment was with our dog bear for his teeth they are very professional they really really care about the animals they go over and beyond what they are supposed to do they are very kind very gentle with the animals they care so much I would not take my animals anywhere else I highly recommend this place

Dr. Hays saved my dog's life, Bruno, twice. He's absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend his affordable health care to everyone. Makes me proud to live in my part of town because of caring services like Dr. Hays'. He's a hometown doctor that makes you feel like family with a prestigious veterinarian education and experience you can trust background.

I recently switched vets for my 2 senior female dogs to terrace heights family vet. It is such a pleasure to have an appointment with caring and professional staff. One of my girls had reached her time on this earth a couple of weeks ago. My first dog ever to have from pup to senior. To say the least I was beside myself, but the team at this clinic was overwhelmingly patient, kind and caring. They explained everything and with compassion. We took our akita puppy there for all his shots & wellness needs. When he turned 1 yr old he was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis and needed specialized care. They were wonderful, referring us to WSU veterinarian hospital. They really care about your pet & what's best for them.

Unfortunately a best friend, big peice of our family was laid to rest. The family received amazing care and education that was well needed in such a fragile time. Not to mention we were not established there, called close to the end of the day and our needs were met.

Great place for your animals

Was in need of quick care for my cat but had no previous vet, they made accommodations and got us in within an hour, plus they were so good to him and handled him gently which is always appreciated. Feels good knowing I have somewhere to take him when he needs help!!

I’m new to this practice, but already very appreciative. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable, they even called a few days later to see how my cats were doing post-vaccinations. I knew they were going to be amazing when I adopted a kitten a few months ago and he had pneumonia. I was calling around looking for urgent appointments. Even though the staff here couldn’t fit me in, they referred me to another veterinary practice that had urgent spots, where my kitten was seen the next day. If that doesn’t show they care about your pets, I don’t know what does!

We have only been going to Terrace Heights Family Pet Clinic for a few months now with a cat with chronic asthma. Everyone there has been helpful, patience with questions and always ready to assist us in getting appointments. But today I wanted to write this review regarding our other cat, Wilbur, who we had to have euthanised due to kidney failure earlier this morning. I called right as they opened and told them he was not eating, drinking, and couldn't walk very good. They were able to get us in quickly. As the test results came back with bad news, the staff was patient in letting us decide what was best for our little one. Putting him to sleep was the kindest decision for him. The euthanising process was gentle, they gave us time to say good bye and handled Wilbur's remains with dignity. I really can't say enough about the respect and understanding we were shown during this difficult time. We left feeling comforted knowing that not only was our sweet cat no longer suffering, but that his end had been a dignified one. I would truly recommend them to anyone.

Dr May's and the staff have been nothing but great to both Leopold and the late Jaxx???????? ... I live on the west side of town, but will continue to drive across the way for their service.

Dr Hayes is thorough and consistent. He is also a good detective when you are trying to figure out what is wrong with your pet. I have a dog with several health issues and Dr Hayes has helped us get on track so she has a great quality of life. Dr Hayes listens to me and strives to understand my pet. His team is amazing too! I love this clinic.

My 6 month old Pomsky is very reactive and nervous and Dr. Ann and Dr Mike were very effective in helping him to feel comfortable. They practice a true pet fear avoidance clinic. They also gave me great input on his care and the follow up call from Dr Mike was great to help me fine tune the care. Highly recommend!!

I love this place. Every time my pups go, they are so friendly and eager to make them comfortable and take care of them.
