Great doctors and front office staff. I am relieved to have a doctor so accessible to home.

Roy Velardi seems to have taken a step back from this practice. We never get an appointment with him. Plus, I learned that a corporate overlord had purchased the practice. The last few visits have not been what they were in years past. Impersonal people at the desk. Techs that forget what I just told them before getting info into the medical record. The visit experience has degraded over the past couple of years. Unfortunately what, in my opinion, was a solid veterinary practice has just become a place I no longer want to take my dog. It was a difficult decision, but I've found an alternative practice. Too bad because Velardi has cared to two of my dogs for many years. I just can't go back though. The vibe feels gone.

More than 25 years of excellence. Dr Roy Velardi has been a calm force to help not just the pets whom we love so dearly. He addresses the people.Reasonable logical and cares for the human side of pet treatment..I recommend him.as the best you can find in Veterinary care. Seriously The Best.

There was a mixup with my time slot (so I recommend calling in to make an apt instead of online) and they still squeezed me in to quickly check my cat. They were apologetic about the situation and took great care of her. I’m definitely going to make this spot my cat’s home veterinarian clinic.

Very kind staff, clean place, it felt safe bringing my cat here and they took good care of him on short notice. I very much appreciated their bedside manner explaining about my cat needing end of life services and assuring me to do the right thing so he wouldn’t have to suffer any longer ????

Our dog is obedience trained, and friendly. I’ve never heard her scream (not yelp, not whine, but a blood curdling scream) until today. Thanks you, Dr. Roy V. You’ve scarred our dog for life. We could see through a crack in the door the vet staff shoving her down face first. HOW ABOUT TRYING “lay down”?!?! Front desk/ reception are exceptional. The veterinary staff are total a-holes, prejudiced and judgmental - ridiculous prices. Our pet gets checked every 2-3 months and is in perfect health, but they insisted any dogs coming from Texas must be disease ridden and we were “so lucky that she isn’t disease ridden”.

I have a rabbit with a growth protruding from her chest, very alarming in itself, the doctor explains that it's most likely cancer considering her bread. He said he'd give me three financial options for treatment and left the room. The technician returned with the three printed options but could answer no rabbit related questions so I requested to see the doctor. She said he would be right in. After 10 minutes I went to the lobby and asked the tech if she could please remind the doctor to return, my rabbit is agitated by now, and the the tech said he would be right in. I waited another 10 minutes and decided to pay my bill and leave, my rabbit has had enough. As I went to pay the doctor pops out from behind the receptionist with a big smile and I told him that I waited for 20 minutes for him to come back and he really had the nerve to tell me that it was a 30 minute appointment and that I was being rude. I am not kidding! I suppose by waiting for the doctor to return I used up my 30 minutes. Needless to say I will be spending more money and going to another clinic. So very sad for my rabbit.

Ok my dog did not die but I paid and they claimed that the after surgery checkup was included. My wife took the dog to them and they still charged her for the visit and made me pay. Why did they lie and tell me the after checkup visit would not cost me anything.

They are the best in the north west. A+ to the staff. Everyone I know will say the same thing. Lucky to have such a caring and loving animal hospital here in Vancouver

Great vet with great workers. They're extremely busy and each time I have to wait a couple weeks to bring my cat in. The prices aren't cheap but getting my cat back to normal is or his shots caught up is priceless. This is my go to veterinary.

Was so relieved to find a Vet that would see my chicken! They took great care of her and it was a relief to get answers and know that she was going to be ok. Clean facility, easy parking, nice people, reasonable pricing, will definitely come back if needed. Offered remote diagnostic help too if needed in the future which could be super helpful and convenient.

Our vet is very knowledgeable. It is very hard to find an Avian Veterinarian. Finding one who actually knows and appreciates exotic birds, their social, behavioral and dietary needs is rare. The staff creates a comfortable professional environment.

Refused to see my cat with a broken leg. Called me after I took her to Columbia River offering to do surgery (Columbia Rivef quoted me $6000 for surgery). 2 weeks later and they still hadn't looked at x-rays. Had to amputate in Gladstone. At least there's some good vets out there, not here though.

I did get the feeling that they do care about the furry patients they see. They called to see how my fur baby was doing a couple of times. I'm glad they were recommended to me by a friend as I was not happy at the last veterinary clinic.

We were established patients / customers. My dog had severe hot spot show up over the span of a day. That’s not something you can plan for. This vet was unable to get my dog in for an appt for 2 weeks. That’s not something you can wait that long for. The office opens at 7:30 AM. I called at 7:38 AM and apparently all the urgent care appts were already taken. The receptionist said there was nothing they could do. Unfortunately had to take our dog somewhere more reliable.

We have used the veterinary services of Vancouver Veterinary Hospital for over 45 years and have always received excellent care for our pets. They are very caring and treat our pets like one of the family. I highly recommend them and would not use any other veterinary service for my pets!

Very pleased with the care that my Buddy received. I signed up for the monthly health care plan as well. It's a great idea, it saves money and peace of mind, knowing my little guy is covered. Buddy had his teeth cleaned, they were really bad with plaque unfortunately. I am so surprised how clean and white they are now! Yay!!. He did lose one in the back, not too bad considering he's almost 8 years old AND a daschund. Now we're brushing on a regular basis lol I believe they really do care* for your pets here, I only wish I had taken my other boy here in January instead of Orchards..I believe he would still be alive today if I had???????? Thank you ALL so much????♥️

My African Grey saw Dr. Dawid and I was extremely pleased with the care my guy received. If you're a bird parent I would highly recommend Dr. Dawid and Vancouver Veterinary Hospital.

I waited two weeks to be seen at the hospital. Drove over two hours from different state to get my dog seen for an issue just because I thought these doctors might be more knowledgeable since they've treated him as a newborn. Drove through horrendous traffic and was 10 mins late to the appointment. I was greeted with a rude "YOUR LATE!" and was turned away and told to reschedule. I went back to my car and bawled my eyes out because of these peoples heartlessness. My dog needs help and they could care less! Now I have to wait 6 weeks to be seen by someone else...These people are heartless and don't care about your pets.
