Our pup reunites with his littermate usually once a week here! Day care is his trigger word! Whenever its daycare day he is soo excited to follow me to the car and ever so excited to be dropped off there. He can't wait to get out of the car and bolt in. They provide photos of their daily activities, but at this price point I wish they would provide a short summary/report of their activities. I.E who their best friend is, if they napped, their activities. overall, we love this place!!!

My dog is always happy to come here. He’s a rescue so we have needed to really work on his socialization skills. Staff are friendly and they really like dogs. they’re flexible re drop off as you can drop off your dog without needing to schedule.

We absolutely LOVE Rex Dog Hotel & Spa!! Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and helpful. They take extra time to ensure dogs have a positive first experience and this really worked for Pixie. After two days Pixie wagged her tail as soon as we entered the shop and by day 4 she was pulling me to get into the space! They all know Pixie by sight and can tell me who she has played with and other fun things about her time there. We are so happy to have found a place where Pixie can come and have fun and be well cared for.

I really like the place but at least 2 bad experiences with the same rude secretary/ “Sunny” she was very disrespectful and even raised her voice to me when I asked why she couldn’t charged my credit card on file. Update: spoke with the owner today and he was very helpful. At the beginning he got the story wrong but he listen to me and after all he explained why he prefer that I pay on store with my card and I super understood. Like I mentioned before, my dogs love the place and I’m happy to help.

I've been taking my dog to Rex for years for both daycare and overnight stays. There's lots to love - large, clean facility with an outdoor space for the doggos, friendly staff, good location but the absolute best thing is their long hours and flexibility for daycare visits. It's incredibly easy to take my dog to Rex and it's clear that she adores them.

I would unfortunately NOT recommend this place. I was in town for work. The service was terrible, the manager was absolutely rude and made me never want to return in spite of the lovely surroundings. Waitlist or not, trust your intuition when people don't treat you with respect, service is everything.

I have been boarding my dogs at the Rex since 2010. My one dog has been coming here since then and knows where all the treats are hidden behind the front desk. The care and compassion shown to my furkids has been exemplary from day 1. When one of my dogs passed away in 2019 they shared my grief and then shared my joy when we were ready to adopt again in her memory. The Rex (& The Doghouse) is part of our family. I can’t imagine boarding (or daycare) my dogs anywhere else - they both run into the hotel as soon we get out of the car with a “see you later mum” attitude towards me. They truly love your pets!

We love bringing both our dogs, Maggie and Nova here . Nova has epilepsy and she can be very nervous in new situations - the team at The Rex have been so kind and patient with her, I feel so secure leaving the dogs with them! Both dogs love the water park and all the staff. Worth every penny!

The team at Rex is amazing. From day one, they have given me assurance that when I leave coco with them, she will not only be in good hands but come home happy. The fact that she runs to them each time says it all

My dog enjoyed his trial run and stay. Staffs were extremely friendly and the place was clean so I wasn't worried when I left my dog with them. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a place to leave your dog to play while you have a busy day

Our 12 month old pup attends REX once a week and she loves it! She's always excited to run in and comes back extremely tired from a full day of play. The staff at REX are all friendly and professional, we appreciate the care that they give our pup. The facility is always clean and smells great - we do wonder where all the dogs poop and pee because it's always spotless! Our favourite feature of the daycare is the daily album uploads they put up so we can see what our pup did throughout the day.

Rex is a great place for your dog -either day boarding or overnight. They screen all the dogs quite carefully before admitting them. Staff clearly like the dogs and and take great care of them when they are there. We wouldn't board our dog anywhere else.

Rex is awesome! I have two medium to large sized dogs that have been visiting Rex for over a year now. Both dogs run to the door, love the staff and are nice and chill when they come home. My dogs have some sensitive tummies and Rex is on the ball either calling me if something is off, or reporting all was good at end of day. They are watching over the pups individually to ensure each is happy, safe and healthy. The facility smells nice and is very clean. I’ve been to other daycares where my dogs smell funny coming home, but not from Rex. I’ve also boarded my pups there and didn’t worry one bit about them. Happy to recommend Rex to my friends and family!

Our Corgi puppy has been going to Rex since she was 4 months old and she LOVES it! The staff are friendly and caring, the facility is exceptionally clean and the rates are very reasonable. I especially appreciate the 10 visit passes and half-day option. If you're looking for a wonderful place for your pup to hangout with friends, burn off energy, all while being safe and well-cared for, Rex is the place!

Rex Dog Hotel has generalized breed restrictions based off « years of experience » that has disqualified my mastiff puppy even a meet and greet for their day care services. I seriously question the professionalism of establishments like these and their actual knowledge of dogs when they implement such rules. At least meet the dog before you say no, this is the most social pup who wouldn’t even bite into a pine cone and she can’t go to daycare?

My old girl loves the Rex! The staff are amazing and the facility is very clean. I definitely know she loves it there because she never stops wagging her tail and she runs right in. The Flickr photos are amazing also! Best daycare by far!! Thanks Rex team!

Don’t exclude breeds without meeting the dog

Rex is by far the best dog daycare in the City. The facility is very clean and our dog Daisy is always excited when we drop her off. We have been taking her there since she was a puppy and they even helped work on her separation anxiety. The staff is fantastic and always post photos throughout the day. Would definitely recommend Rex to anyone looking for a reputable and high quality facility for their dog!

Exceptional daycare!! We have two older dogs who have gone to daycare they're whole lives. Because it had been so long they had gotten kind of bored with it and basically just slept all day. Last year when we were forced (through closures) to find a new daycare we discovered the Rex. I can't say enough about this amazing place. Our dogs absolutely love going there. They jump around and get excited at the front desk when we arrive and the photos always show them playing and running with the other dogs in a wonderland of toys, beds and playgrounds. They come home exhausted and so happy. The staff are exceptional. Always happy to see the pups and know who they are and the special ways our dogs play and need care. They are easy to talk with and make appointments and it was such a simple transition getting them registered. I would, and do recommend the Rex to all of my coworkers and friends who have dogs. This place was a game changer for us and I'm so grateful to have found them.

The best and safest spot to take you dog for daycare or boarding. The staff is very caring and go the extra mile to keep the dogs happy. Plus they get to play outside. We have been taking our Labradoodle since she was a puppy and comes back tired and happy every time. Couldn’t be happier

Terrible service were not even able to make an appointment because "Rottweiler mixes are mean" ... he looks terrifying doesn't he :o

Our dog loves the Rex. Clean well thought out setup. Staff is amazing with our dog and from what I've seen, others as well. They really seem to love dogs, abs the dogs love them right back. We have also used boarding services in the past. First rate.

We honestly can’t say enough good things about the Rex! It’s obvious that the owners, Karen and Barrie, and the rest of the staff LOVE dogs. When I pull up to drop Pippa off in the morning, she can’t wait to get out of the car to see her friends – both two- and four-legged. It always gets my day off to a great start to see Pippa so happy, and when I pick her up, she is blissed-out tired from playing with the other pups. The facility is bright, clean and huge -- and the water park is the best! We have used the Rex’s boarding service on two occasions, and the same care and attention that goes into daycare extends to overnight stays. We highly recommend the Rex. 5+ stars!

This is the best day care for dogs we have ever found. Exceptional service, separate area for large dogs and small, indoor and outdoor spaces, and incredible places for overnight. Our dog Abbee, can't wait to go whenever we take her! Would highly recommend to all

We have been taking our doggo there since this summer once a week and he LOVES it there, especially the outdoor space and the water park! The staff there post pictures daily on Flickr and we always look forward to seeing what our doggo is up to when he spent his time there! The staff are friendly yet professional, and I highly recommend other pawrent to use their services!
