Jan's Dog Grooming Vancouver, Washington

It was our puppy’s first time going to the groomers . They were able to give a complete haircut and finished earlier than expected. Our puppy came out smelling nice and looking good. Will definitely be coming back . Also loved how this is a small mom and pop kind of groomers.

1-14-22 I would highly recommend them! Ive been very hesitant to take my dog to a groomer again because my dogs last experience was not a good one(my dog hide under the bed for a week) Not this time!!!! My dog was very matted related to being overdue and Jan's dog grooming did a fantastic job! I live in Troutdale and traveled to Vancouver for the appointment and I will do it again because my dog came back happy and looked amazing.

This place does such a great job on my 3 big dogs and they price is the best I have ever seen. We will be life long customers.

Ive been going to Jans for 5 yrs this. Is my 2nd baby that goes there for her Nails they grow so fast so we go monthly an it only cost $10.00 it takes about 5 min .I've never heard a cry from my baby ever while she is getting nails done .which makes me happy .So to the Ladies at Jans thank u very much kim an Mikey

I've been to several dog groomers in town and I absolutely love this one they work with my Chihuahuas anxiety and let me hold her while her nails are getting clipped and they even will come outside with us to clip my Chihuahuas nails if they are full in there as the sound of other dogs scare my chihuahua they are very sweet to her and make time even when they are very busy and still do a great job

Very impressed with the quality and skills at Jan’s grooming. Took my pup for her first grooming session and came back looking magnificent. I was a bit nervous as my pup isn’t the best at standing still for grooming even at home. Def coming back and would recommend. Easy people to work with too.

Went to Jan’s for the first time today and I am so pleased with my experience. I brought in my 12 year old chunky border collie, who I just recently took in for a family member, and they did an amazing job removing all the dead undercoat and giving his fur some much needed TLC. He came home smelling so good and he is so incredibly soft now, I literally can’t stop petting him. He is panting considerably less and is overall just so much more comfortable. This was his first time at the groomers and my first time taking a dog to the groomers, I couldn’t be happier with the service I received and will definitely be using Jan’s as my go to groomer. Super affordable and they got him in super fast even though I was a new client.

We have been taking our pups to Jan's since 2002. From the Cocker mix, Rottweiler, Akita, border collie to the beagles, Jan's is the only groomers I trust with my fur babies. They are always kind, take exceptional care and always provide excellent feedback on how my pups did. In addition, if they notice something off they let us know right away. One such incident saved my Fitzie. I honestly can not recommend them enough.

It was my first and last experience. They 100% ignored all my requests and cut her whatever they liked. They shaved her belly without asking me. Head is way shorter than body with a lot of uneven spots. It looks like a random careless cut. I don’t recommend this place to anyone with small dog.

Doesn't look like much passing by, but great people and my dog always looks wonderful. Love the new gated dog area.

Brought my dog here for the first time today. Friendly staff and my dog left looking super cute and happy! Best haircut she's had and she didn't seem stressed after like other place I've taken her to. Definitely found our new groomer!

I have a fiesty/sassy/abused rescue Persian. She won't let me brush her so off to the groomers we go. We went to Jared the Cat Groomer before and she bit him with no warning! Plus, he's quite spendy! Not a lot of places will groom cats so I was stoked when I found out Megan (the owner) of Jan's does cats. After a nice morning cocktail of gravy and gabapentin, off we went. Megan said she was an angel with no hissing or biting! The best part is the cost was significantly less! Thank you Megan and staff! Cya next year!

Best groomer in Vancouver Washington. Their prices are great too. I highly recommend them.

I took two of my dogs to the Jane’s groomers on August 30 for the first time and Megan who is the daughter of the original owner has been in charge for the last 15 years. I had questioned her about on all these reviews about these incidences of actual dogs getting cut and injured. And she explained to me that 90% of the complaints weren’t people who ever even been to her groomers. Megan was very helpful and spent at least 15 minutes on the phone with me trying to give me advice on how to get rid of my flea problem, is very very professional. I would absolutely take my beloved pets to her groomers anytime. So please don’t always believe what you read because the groomer that complaining allegedly cut animals has moved to another state and she’s never had an injury that required stitches. I give them five stars plus.Also the prices are very reasonable and the staff are very friendly and professional

update: $10 per nail trim now ???? Went for the first time and will definitely go again. It was my dog’s first time getting nails clipped. Unfortunately due to the new covid restrictions, I couldn’t go in the back and be in the room. $5 for quick nail trimming within 5 or so minutes. Super friendly lady

They took such great care of our Great Pyrenees, and were so detailed with her first grooming experience. Her haircut turned out perfect and it was reasonably priced. Will be returning again!

Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Very reasonable price is less than what I normally pay at Petco to have my miniature schnauzer groomed. Today I had her trimmed up bathed nails and teeth and she was in a great mood when I picked her up they were quick to let me know ahead of time about how long till should be done so I could head there if I wanted so she didn't have to sit around in the kennel. I will definitely be back they did a great job very pleased with my first experience there

I love this place they are great with Oshito and Bebe. Their patience with Bebe is amazing she's a Chihuahua and is feisty fiesty. Oshito has anxiety with loud noises so the grinder for the nails is a bit much for him. But the girls know how to make him at ease and get the job done.

They knew exactly what we needed, brought some pictures of how we wanted our dog groomed, couldn't be more happy, groomer was knowledgeable and had great puppy skills. Loved the work done.
