First visit here for our puppers. He has a pretty bad periodontal disease (we got him like that). The dentist was very thorough in explaining future treatment. Will be our go-to place.

Really great customer service at Forever Pet Dental - for both humans and animals! They treated my pup well, answered my questions and even called the day after her procedure to make sure she was doing okay. Would definitely recommend and will be going back for her next dental cleaning!

I love this place! I was so nervous about getting my senior dog’s teeth cleaned but they did a GREAT job. The doctors are knowledgeable and the staff is super friendly. Early drop off and late pick up, but worth it!

We are beyond satisfied with this business. Our primary service is dental. Our dog has been seen for 5 years now. The staff is friendly, professional, organized, responsive and consistent. The doctors have been great and caring. We also had our dog seen for a medical issue when his normal veterinarian could not make room. I would highly recommend.

I was skeptical about having dental work done on my dog. I have never had dental work done on any dog in the past. My dogs breath started to get really bad so I took him in. The wait time was insane, but seems covid related. I dropped him off in the morning and picked him up in the early evening. They cut his nails and he has never let me come close to his raptor dewclaw. I have many scars from those bad boys so I'm very happy they took care of them. Overall a great experience and my pup seems to not have ptsd from the experience.

I am so happy I've found this clinic! I looked them up when I learned at our regular vet clinic, the cleaning alone would be anywhere between 400 and 1000$. Any extractions would be about the same cost on top of that.. At Forever Pet Detal, everyone from the front desk to the doctor was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They were also extremely transparent about the final cost with possible extractions. Our appointment was supposed to be in autumn, but they called me and offered an appointment in a few weeks, probably because someone cancelled. I will be taking my other two pets here for their dental care. I have already made an appointment for my other cat.

I brought my pack of three in for cleanings. As a dental hygienist for humans and a somewhat protective mother, I was very impressed with their care and work with my dogs. All of the techs were very friendly and loving towards my dogs. The techs seemed genuinely excited to meet them and love on them. The vet was caring, thorough, and provided information with options, so that I could decide which route I thought was best for the dogs as far as further treatment/extractions. I always appreciate being offered the facts so I can make my own choices when it comes to health. They give a detailed discharge report and the vet spent some time over the phone with me after the cleanings to go over each dog’s oral condition. They seem to have took their time with my dogs care and do honest work. Also, their rates were the best I could find in Oregon, so I’m not sure how you could beat their combo of high standards and price! We drove 100 miles up for the appt and will continue to do so as needed. 100/10 recommend Forever Pet Dental! Big thanks to the staff for your compassion towards my old love bugs!

Very caring techs and doctors, kept me informed throughout ...very satisfied.

I loved that they were so transparent about their prices. I loved that the vet spent a lot of time talking to me, explaing everything they were going to do to my cat and why it was necessary. Considering how deeply screwed up my poor cat's mouth was I felt the price was very reasonable. They made sure he was comfortable after his SEVEN extractions and gave him both an opioid pain shot and take home painkillers. They also called the next day to check on him. I was also very happy they didn't insist I have blood work done before the procedure.

Way more affordable for dental work and the staff all seem to be very caring and attentive!!

They may have given my 2 small dogs to much anesthesia. A day later my dogs are still not acting normal.

We have been taking our dogs to FPD for years and have always experienced loving care for our pets. They not only do quality dental work at reasonable rates, but they do it with care and compassion.

The Foreverpet team is phenomenal. They don’t scare you unnecessarily, they listen to your concerns, and they appropriately recommend treatment. I was very nervous to bring in my cat and have him undergo anesthesia, especially after feeling “ripped off” by VCA quotes on the same procedure. Dr. Dauphin spent a considerable amount of time explaining the necessity of each extraction and how she was going to minimize his pain. She is a true expert and a very compassionate and friendly person. The final bill was a fraction of my other quotes and I’m so relieved! Thank you Dr. Dauphin, looking forward to bringing my other cat to see you guys!

I have been using FPD now for about 5 years. I did a ton of research on dental work for my sheltie who was in need of some pretty serious dental help. The vets sat down with me in the office and spent a good amount of time helping me understand the process and that my boy was going to go through. I have stayed with FPD ever since do to their great fear-free handling of my sheltie but with my new border collie puppy too. The customer service is great and they always call back several times checking in on my dogs. If your looking for a new vet or dental help your in the right place.

I hardly write reviews but it's the second one I write for Forever Pet. They are all extremely professional and compassionate. Not pushing for unneeded services (unlike so many other vets in Portland) and just listening and doing what is best for your furry friend. My dog had a severe infection that started on a Friday night, her whole face was swollen. Saturday morning I left a voicemail knowing they were closed until Tuesday. I was thinking of going to the urgent care when I got a call back a few hours later from one of their vet who happened to check the voicemails! She was able to prescribe what was needed and my little one was feeling much better just after one day of meds. This was so incredibly nice. In Portland, before going to Forever Pet, our vet would bill us for phone conversations! Really go there and rest assure that you will not be billed crazy amounts and that they actually CARE. Thank you so much Forever Pet! Your team is amazing.

I've been going here for a few years now and plan on continuing to bring my pets here for the awesome care. They have the most affordable rates, which makes preventative health for my pets possible. Oral health is whole health, for both us and our pets! I lost my dog a couple of years ago, and Forever Pet Dental was really there for me in the process. From the compassion I received in the initial appointment when I found out that my dog had cancer, to a last-minute, "final visit" appointment (of course the worst day of my life where I had to call and delay the appointment two hours, and they graciously accommodated me), I would never go anywhere else. I received my dog's ashes in a beautiful (even looks hand-carved) wooden box, a huge step up from the tins I've always seen/received. The bill from that final visit could have been salt in the wound, but I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was to help my dog pass on peacefully. I unexpectedly received a tender card signed by all of the employees who loved having her behind the counter when she came to visit. All of that said, I always recommend this place to my friends and have no problem driving the extra 10-20 minutes across the bridge (yes, I am in PDX) to support this woman-owned business. They have really put in the extra care for my animals over and over again. Looking forward to continuing to working with this clinic well into the future.

Can’t praise Forever Pet Dental enough. So helpful, caring, professional, thorough, friendly. I really appreciate that I can get my dog’s annual vaccines (as well as the included thorough physical) as we’ll as other helpful add ons (e.g. clean ears, dremel/file nails after trim) taken care of at the same time. Their prices for the cleaning as well as optional labs are excellent. Thorough review of findings with the vet after the cleaning, answered all questions and was very helpful. I felt totally comfortable knowing he was in the best of hands and confident that I got my money’s worth. I hope they are proud of the wonderful work they do — the community is grateful!
