Love this vet clinic. I drive from Salem to Tualatin to bring my shihtzu here. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Lovely people here! They got us a room very quickly, and they were very sweet to my dog, even though he barked at them lol! He is very wary of new people, but they were all very calm and reassuring, so was asking them for pets in no time! They answered all my questions, and everything was done fast but not rushed, so it was definitely a very good experience! Thanks for being patient with Romeo, and for curing his sniffles :)

Typically it’s pretty good. Recently though, they’re under staffed and wait times are through the roof. If you bought the gold paw plan and try to come in on a Saturday, there is no guarantee anyone will actually be there to open the doors for you. You can’t even make an appointment to get your pet seen for the first time, which I think is ridiculous. First pet appointments should be a thing… since I’ve been trying to get them in for weeks now and can’t stick around for 3 hours to be seen.

I love that they text to update me on procedure. That with the fact that our "doc" is the best. Compassionate, honest, and loves our dog.

Love this place so much! The wait times can be long but that is to be expected at a walk-in clinic! Considering the wait times of most places right now, its actually the fastest around! And wow the staff is amazing. As someone who has worked retail most of my life, i know how stressful busy times can be, but they handle it so well and treat everyone with so much respect. Ive also never met more caring vets! And to top it off they have amazing prices. 1000/1000. Will come again.

I don't recommend this place. Called them and was asked to put me on hold briefly (LIAR!). Was on hold for 15 mins and then hung up on me. Called back and asked if they can put me on hold. I said NO. I only wanted to order 6 months of supply of simparica for my dogs. I can only order 6 months for my pit and 1 month for my terrier because they want to do an annual exam. Which he is doing good and very healthy.

Will always go to these guys for my pets medical needs. The group of medical staff here(vet's,tec's,assistance's, office staff,everyone) is amazing, hands down the best I've ever met. Are knowledgeable & compassionate. You can trust what they tell you is in the best interest of your pet. And they are very reasonable with their pricing too.

Long wait times, they have no order on who gets helped first meaning multiple people went ahead of us even though we called ahead and checked in before them. 2+ hours for a eye exam for kitten, only actually seen for about 10 minutes rest of the time waiting while being told just a few more minutes. Great place otherwise, staff is nice and treat animals with respect and care.

We’ve taken our babies here for years even though it’s an hour & a half away. Vet knows our babies by name and is really wonderful with them.

They are a walk in clinic. The wait times are looking but they do a great job.

We feel so welcomed, our first time having a puppy and they have been so helpful☺ Prices are affordable! ************* Update: 2 years after posting the above comment, I'm sorry to say but it was my last time my dogs go back to this place, as someone had previously mentioned; No order whatsoever, my dogs were there for a full check up and vaccines, they were there for about 3 hours and I ended up doing the nail trim only. As I overheard yes they are short staffed.... But at least have respect for the people that have been waiting 2 hours plus before passing people whom just checked in. I know it's a FCFS and emergencies first etc. But I found that A LOT checked in and checked out after us; one after another. Waited for about 30 minutes before someone was able to check my dogs out?

Even though we had to wait a long time for our appointment because we happened to get there at a very busy time, (it is a first come first serve emergency takes precedence no appointments office) the doctor was very straightforward and wonderful so we will definitely be going back there. Next time we'll be sure to call in and ask if it's busy before we just show up, lol! I love that there are pricing is posted right on their site and they are very transparent about everything that they do.

This is the best vet I have been to in a very long time, I took my dog here before he passed away and I was really impressed with the amount of empathy and kindness ❤️ Dr.Judy Reed is an angel and really helped my husband and I through the process of putting our sweet Ldog down. Highly recommended! Sometimes the wait can be a little long but it’s worth it for the quality of care and service you get. We still bring our cat here and they always remember our sweet dog and that’s a great feeling . Thank you Judy we appreciate you and your staff!????

So pleasant no matter how busy they were. It was nice to be able to walk in and get vaccines for my puppy, this took a huge load off my shoulders that I could get in same day. Prices were great and staff was pleasant too will definitely be back

Thank you for always being professional and polite. As of today I will only be going to this location and no longer a customer at the se mcglaughlin location! I give high praise to the employees and vets! They are extremely professional,polite. I have moved to the South East Portland area but I highly recommend commuting the extra time to go to this location without a doubt they are a class act hands down!! Thankyou for being so gracious!

Very busy, but very calm, professional and hard-working group. Took care of our emergency situation, called around to find an open overnight vet spot.

Great place to take pet and great prices only thing it gets so crowded ..wait line can take up to 2hrs...and waiting room not so big????????

Only place I take my pets since 2019, no matter if it's for vaccines, exams, or issues that come up. I love the first come, first served style as opposed to appointments, as well as the way they've adapted their intake for covid. Vets and techs have always been infinitely more compassionate, informative, and friendly than other vet offices I've been to in VA and OR. WVAH makes me feel like it's my pets first, not profit and that's what keeps me coming back. Sometimes it's pretty busy and we have had to wait an hour or two, but other than that we've waited as little as 15-30 minutes to be seen. For me, a small (or longer) wait is a fair trade off for getting my pets seen same-day without an appointment.

If I could give this place zero stars I totally would. This place is a freaking joke! Unfortunately having to deal with them since we adopted a pup from next door to them. Not going to go into details because it’s too much but just stay away from here. Been on hold for 25 minutes currently just to find out if my puppy got neutered since I haven’t heard anything since I dropped him off at 8 this morning and it’s almost time for them to close.
