Thank you for taking good care of Harley and helping me to make a difficult decision. Everyone at the clinic was amazing and compassionate . I will miss my boy thank you for making his trip across the rainbow bridge the best it could be. He is pain free chasing hummingbirds.

We had to do the worst part of having a pet and put our dog to sleep. The team was compassionate and thoughtful. They made the process as easy as it can be and I can't recommend them enough!

It’s always tough when you need a place like the Emergency Veterinary clinic. I’ve been here with multiple dogs over the years. During this difficult time I have found the team to be compassionate, professional, and top notch. Covid protocols have changed all veterinary clinics but somehow this hospital has retained the personal service and empathy. They clearly explain what’s happening with your pet with patience and clarity. They lay out the costs and expectations. I highly recommend this hospital but sincerely hope you don’t have to go often. When you do go you will receive the best care. Thanks you to the team at this location.

We are so grateful for the entire team at EVCOT. After a very scary diagnosis of our cat Cheech, the team was incredibly helpful getting us resources on specialists for his surgery. The surgery ended up being performed at EVCOT due to the seriousness of his condition, and I could not be happier with the entire process. A scary situation was made better by the clear communication from the doctors and other staff. They were very upfront about the costs, and at his discharge they provided me with an incredible amount of information on his medication, recovery, and even timesheets detailing his care while staying in the hospital overnight.

Horrible customer service and barely considered an emergency vet. Took my cat in today at 6 in the morning and the very rude receptionist told us that they weren’t open yet to take clients even though they’re 24 hours. Just told us to call a primary care and hope we can get seen. Will never be going there again.

Literally the best experience I’ve EVER had at any vet. SUPER affordable given the treatment, and very kind!! Kept us updated the entire time they had our dog and gave us thorough after care instructions. Also made light of the situation which I appreciated because I came in very stressed. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Don't recommend bringing your pet here for anything too serious or urgent. We had a scare with our 4 year old dog not being able to hold food or water down and constantly vomiting for multiple days. Due to covid and this occurring over a holiday week, we couldn't see our normal vet. Took him to this emergency vet clinic on Friday. At first the service was great, but we had to bring him back the next day because he didn't improve. Saturday they kept him overnight and just did the same thing for 48 hours - IV of fluids, some meds, blood work, and xrays every few hours. No improvement and we asked for an ultrasound. Said they could possibly do it on Monday, but no guarantee because they squeeze in patients that stay at the clinic in between the sonographer's scheduled appointments. Doesn't make sense they don't have someone to run ultrasounds on hand at all time in an emergency clinic. We took him home Sunday night and brought him to Dove Lewis in Portland on Monday. Within 2 hours of checking him in, they had an ultrasound and in surgery. They confirmed another day to two, we would've lost our dog. Was hoping this clinic would have a little more urgency and a better escalation procedure. Or be up front and send us elsewhere for an ultrasound if they couldn't do it asap. Disappointed we wasted 3 days and over $2,000 at this place with no answers.

I called here after my dogs foot became super swollen after taking her for a walk. The clinic was busy so i wasn't able to take her in but the staff gave me directions on how to treat it at home. They were really helpful with the process.

We dog was having a long seizure and we were sure this was an end of life situation. The staff at EVCOT were very kind and professional and took amazing care of us and our dog in this stressful and emotional time. They took care of everything, making sure they only needed minimal info from us, called our regular vet and even sent us a condolence card. I would recommend them for any emergency services.

Our dog ate a vitamin that worried us. We called our local emergency vet, who was not helpful with answering any questions. They told us to call pet poison control. They wanted to charge us $60 to ask a question. I was told to call this location from a family member, and I am so thankful I did. Without hesitation, they asked for the brand and looked it up and spoke with the vet to confirm all was good. This will be where we will go for any emergencies, even if it is a bit further away!

We took our two babies. The quality care was excellent. The took care with understanding with a financial stress. I love my two cats and didn't want to have them go down. So they took care and the needs for us. We did lose one cat. But the other is doing great. Thank you.

Back in January 2020 we adopted our dog Finn. A day later he was sick with double pneumonia and our vet recommended hospitalization. EVOT was recommended to us so we took Finn here. They saved his life. Nearly two years later we are forever indebted to him because we love our little Finn. Our other dog Max also had an emergency with a tooth abscess and they took great care of him. I highly recommend them to any pet owner needing emergency care.

This place is horrible please please do not bring your pet here. I brought my puppy here and they held him for 6hrs to only check his vitals. They didn’t even check on what was wrong. Staff was rude and never updated me on anything. I had to continuously call for updates. When it came to checking him out they didn’t wanna take my full coverage insurance. & wouldn’t give my dog back unless I paid out of pocket, seriously ridiculous. ( didn’t get him back til 3am when I dropped him off at 9pm)

Very worried about our senior dog who had open sores and scabs all over him. I called several places which said no room. Then I called these folks they said they could see him. We were so relieved and traveled pretty far. We got there and found out no one inside. We called and the person asked again like we never called. She then said they would get vitals which would take 40 minutes. After an hour we called. She said we put him on the back burner and will get to him in soon. Then if they don't have a crate they will give him back because it will take another 4-6 hours for the vet to see him. I am very sympathetic to other people and their animals. I am sympathetic to thevet techs but when I see no care or concern for our dog or ourselves then I complain. Just be prepared.

Big thumbs up for the heroes that work at this facility. The hospital and emergency room staff are one awesome group of people among many. I gave them 10 out of 10 score on everything from being patient with me while I am in a panic over my dogs condition and giving a calm response and a caring hand to both me and my pet. I wanted to euthanize my old dog because of what I thought was a hopeless situation and without spending too much money I was able to keep him with me a little longer thanks to The great staff. I was quoted $95 plus minimal fee and had to wait three hours but ended up waiting six hours before I ended up leaving my pet with them overnight. The next morning I picked up my happy pet with minimal extra charges decide what I had approved total cost $175 including meds and overnight care. I was totally surprised to receive an hourly log sheet on the great care that they gave my little buddy Wilson the Westie , thank you sooooooo much ????????‍♂️

Our vet called this clinic and sent records for an emergency visit (our regular vet couldn’t see our dog on such short notice)- our vet told us “they have your records, they can see you”. We called the emergency vet clinic in Tualatin and told them we were on our way. The lady says “we are at capacity, we can’t see your pet”. Weird right? We called our regular vet back and they said- huh, strange, we just got off the phone with them and they can see your dog. I called emergency vet BACK and nicely explained the situation- maybe when you said you were “at capacity” you overlooked our records. The lady then, asks “well, do you have a referral”- I’m not sure of her technical definition of “referral” so I again explain the situation- our vet sent our pets records to you electronically and you confirmed with them that we can be seen. Pretty straightforward, one would think. But oh no, nurse gatekeeper MUST follow some protocol that only exists in her own mind and demands that I answer the question “Do you have a referral” with a straight yes or no. OK then, I say, “yes”, Then puts me on hold, comes back and says we can see you but it will be an 8 to 10 hour wait(?!??!!!). This was not what our vet told us. Incredibly unprofessional. Her tone was dripping with passive aggression as she told me this. Hey, I know you guys are busy- I get it- this is customer service 101 though. Maybe before telling someone that you are “at capacity” (which you aren’t) check to see if the caller is one of the people included in that calculation- ie “we are at capacity for walk ins, but your vet called, we have your records, and you are on the schedule- come on in”- Basic phone skills, basic customer service skills!!!!!

I spent 7 hrs waiting to be seen at emergency veterinary clinic of tualitin. I sat for 7 hrs in the heat watching owners dropping off and picking up their pets. I finally left after being told that there were still two dogs ahead of me. I do not know if they ever would have seen my dog. When I asked for a approximate time the woman said she could not tell me it was a HIPAA violation. I was not asking for diagnosis I was asking if they planned to see my dog. If they are not going to see your pet they should tell you. Do not go to emergency veterinary clinic of tualitin. you and your pet do not matter. Your pet will die waiting to be seen.

I can’t thank this emergency vet office enough. After calling various places they got my baby right in after having to drive 1.5 hours .The technicians and Veterinarians were awesome. And helped me trust them with Buddy. I felt secure leaving him in their hands, even though I was a nervous wreck. I can’t thank you enough for helping us get my baby stable. I appreciate you all! They were so professional and honest.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. They were quick in taking my dog back. They monitored him and took great care of him. There was a wait before he was actually examined, which I 100% expected. It just made me feel better that at least they were monitoring him. The staff was so friendly and informative too.

They are wonderful. Compassionate, and caring. The Vet spent so much time with my granddaughter explaining what was happening. I want to thank all of the staff, then I get a card from them expressing their condolences. Thank you.

I show up with a cat in a lot of pain at 7 in the morning and the “emergency” clinic can’t help me in an emergency because they’re at full capacity and I should have called to make an appointment essentially. They had no one in the parking kat or in the lobby, So if you’re actually in an emergency I don’t recommend going here to help your fur babies.

This place was amazing. My cat developed a UTI, hadn't eaten or drank water in a few days, and I was so scared she was going to get worse. Every other ER clinic wouldn't take her and had a 16 hour wait time, but this place did. They told me it would possibly be 12 hours before she was seen. The doctor was calling me just 6 hours later. They held her overnight for me, even let me go home and get some rest and pick her up in the morning. I can say she is already doing so much better. I'm so happy my baby cat is okay. Thank you, you helped my best friend.

When my cat suddenly stopped eating and drinking they were able to get her in quickly. They communicated options and costs clearly. I will use their services again if needed.

13YOF previously healthy K9: Acute weight loss, dark urine with increased consumption nearly equal to output, and the rest accumulating as ascites. A couple hours to check her out at ~6pm- vitals, history, ultrasound, and fluid draw were also done in that timeframe. In a private room, DrKay comfortingly informed us of suspected aliments and gave us a cost breakdown for more diagnostics ($1,000-2,500 with overnight stay) and respectfully included palliative care as an option. DrK gave us the room to discuss (I wish my dog could have been there for this conversation but completely understand them keeping her in back - most likely to not confusion her with the back and forth). We opted to do an additional blood panel and viral screen (as DrK confirmed fluid buildup would impede imaging and we know regardless the treatment would be similar). We were informed it would be 2-3 hours before she’d be ready to discharge and spot on at nearly 10pm DrK called us with results. From these we derived liver failure is the main complication an with a handful of medications to soothe the advanced processes we picked up my best friend. Their service was pleasantly direct and all included Under $500.

Our dog ingested a toxin - they were quick to say "get in the car and on your way and call back so we can get paperwork started via phone". I was able to walk our dog right in, received almost immediate updates on the treatment plan and that ultimately, she'd be fine. Great care, explicit detail on treatment, and overall plan as well as cost.

I called at about 1am, panicking that my cat might've been overheated from the 110+ heat (and us with no ac). I think it was Nicki who answered the phone. She was so calm and reassuring and patient with me. Her kindness was everything I needed in that moment to clear my head. Thank you so, so much for helping my cat and I.

Our puppy Chloe had a foot injury over the weekend when our regular vet was closed. We had all kinds of concerns around cost, quality of care, responsiveness, on top of the emotional toil of not knowing how severe her injury was. First, this place is one of the few open emergency sites so they were very busy. But they fit her in for a quick triage assessment and determined her vitals were stable and should stay that way. We mentioned our preference for her staying with us vs. sitting in a kennel and they were accommodating. We had a call back around 6-8 hours later to return for the full exam which went great. They were very reasonable with the services they recommended and took the least invasive path for care. Everything they did and recommended seemed perfectly appropriate. Our regular vet agreed during our followup appointment. In a nutshell, be patient, let them work as the professionals they are, but still advocate for the care that you feel is important. It was a winning formula for us.
