I've been going to this clinic for about 5 months now and have been very happy with the care I've received. One of the most important things to me with veterinary care is communication. I've been very happy with the level of Responsiveness I've had from the clinic. They've been very patient with all my reward email worry wart emails and phone calls. Despite how busy the clinic is, and other clinics like, they've Maintained a high level of care for their customers. So far so good!

I am so impressed with Sherwood Family Pet Clinic. Dr. Woodside and all of the staff there earn my highest recommendation! Here's why: Starting with the staff who work at the front desk, answer calls and more... they are so kind, thoughtful and helpful. I can't highlight this enough, these staff members should be celebrated for their client care skills. I have only had great experiences with all of them when I call with questions or to give Dr. Woodside an update. When they aren't sure about something, they will go out of their way to find an available veterinarian to ask the question to. Dr. Woodside is truly a breath of fresh air. I am really careful about who I trust my cat's care with and Dr. Woodside is incredibly thoughtful in her approach to feline care as well as how she shows up for me and I'm sure all of her other clients. My sweet senior cat suffers from feline hyperesthesia syndrome, she has tooth resorption issues so has to have a yearly dental and teeth extractions done often, and lastly, she is fearful and VERY cranky at her vet appointments. Dr. Woodside takes her time to explain everything to me. I have never felt rushed. She is really thorough with her notes and I appreciate it all immensely. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my Mitzi!

I needed my little buddy cat “Charlie”. To be looked at after starting to flick his head and right ear. I was worried it was an infected ear the beginning of one at least. I made an appointment thinking I I would probably get in a weeks time. I received an email the next morning saying that they could squeeze me in between appointments to look at him. If not they would have an appointment in a few days. I wanted to take what coukdcas soon as I could. I then responded to that email and they had a cancellation and could get me in forty five minutes or take the appointment in four days. I then said Charlie and will be right there! Turns out Charlie fid have beginnings of an ear infection in the right ear. They cleaned both ears out and gave me a game plan. For medication/ cleaning solution and pain pills for little Charlie. I am very appreciative and thankful for Sheerwwod Family Pet Clinics excellent and friendly service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We moved here in August and have seen Dr Woodside several times with my dogs. She’s very professional and takes time to explain things. I would highly recommend this pet clinic.

We feel so lucky we found this clinic when we brought home our pup two years ago. They have been phenomenal through so many medical adventures, from dental issues to her spay surgery to day-to-day needs. The staff are helpful, communicative, and really have gotten to know our dog. They care about her just like we do, and it shows. We’ve worked with a variety of doctors and techs in the last two years, and every one has been wonderful. Kayleigh is our dog’s time-tested favorite! Just today they worked us in between other patients, despite this being an extremely busy time. Can’t say enough good things about them!

I simply cannot express how much I appreciate Sherwood Family Pet Clinic, and Dr. Wustenberg in particular! My pup had been having unexpected waves of pain that came out of nowhere and had been causing us so much distress. We had to go to an emergency vet in Seattle and spend $1200 for no diagnosis. They could not identify what was wrong with Max, and told us to go to our primary vet. I was terrified about not knowing what was wrong with our fur baby, and everyone was SO kind. I had to drop max off for observation throughout the day, and Dr. Wustenberg called me with regular updates. I shared how we were financially stressed, and she broke out every associated cost and our options to make sure not only that Max was cared for, but we didn’t get hit with another massive bill. Longs story short, Max was passing kidney stones and we now have him on a prescription diet. He has not had a single episode since! Thank you Dr. Wustenberg and Sherwood Family Pet Clinic for all of the help understanding what was happening with our pup and the priceless peace of mind knowing that he is going to be OK! We are customers for life!

They are heartless. After quoting me nearly $1,000 and shaming me for my cat swallowing a rubber band, they band me from using their facility because I expressed that that seemed AWFULLY high. (And it was. Tigard did it for $200)

They're taking good care of my old kitties health. Dr. called later to check to check on "us" to see how we were doing and ask if I had more questions.

They run a tight ship- very organized! They were very kind to our kitten for his neuter surgery. The receptionist was thorough and knowledgeable. I appreciated getting a call from the doctor after surgery- nice personal touch!

Any vet that refuses to help an injured cat because it was a stray even though I was willing to pay the bill is not for me nor my pets. Other vets in Sherwood had no problem with helping this animal, I know the county laws and have reported pet to Bonnie Hayes who told me a local vet can look at the cat, I have also reported the cat found in multiple different area as well as all surrounding vets. There is no excuse for not helping an injured animal, using the 90 day rule is not a justification for your unwillness to help, I was even told you would not scan a cat for a chip.

We actually had a very traumatic experience, and I'm still leaving a 5 star review. That's because of the after care we received that was top notch and so appreciated. We have a small 6yo female Maltese who we were set to take along with us on a trip. We needed to get a CVI and new rabies vaccination. Long story short, our dog was one of the very rare ones that had an allergic reaction to the vaccines she got. We don't know which one since we actually got both a rabies vaccine and one for distemper/Parvo. Anyway, she actually suffered acute anaphylaxis. It was really scary, and after calling the clinic and explaining the symptoms, we were told to came back in straight away. My wife was very upset, but I knew that this was something that was rare and could not be foreseen, so not the clinic's fault. However, they took charge and coordinated care with the utmost compassion. We had to take her to a different hospital that facilitated overnight care, and Dr. Schlimgen handled everything so that the handoff and care was seamless. Our dog was treated well and fortunately pulled through none worse for the wear, and we were able to take her home the next morning. We observed her for the rest of the day and noticed that while she wasn't suffering from any more allergic reaction, she was not anywhere near her normal self (understandable to a point after the experience she went through). However, it got to the point where we became a little concerned. Though she ate and drank well, she was extremely lethargic, and was panting a lot, and her breaths were short and rapid. So we called up the clinic the next morning, and they offered to take another look at her. The symptoms she was showing were due to the medications that we had to keep her on over the course of the next several days. This time, she was seen by Dr. Merrill, because Dr. Schlimgen has surgeries scheduled throughout the day. Dr. Merrill knew about our situation, so it was nice that we did not have to rehash anything, and he was very thorough in his examination. He ended up recommending a slightly modified course of medication treatment, and as I write this, I can say that our dog seems to be feeling more "normal", with less of those symptoms. As I said before, it was a traumatic experience, but with the help of the great doctors and staff at Sherwood Family Pet Clinic, we were able to get through it with the least amount of stress. Oh, and final word, they provided all this after care without any additional cost. That showed me that they really take the duty of care and responsibility seriously, and that they truly empathize with their patients and their owners. I was a new customer, but will be a regular one going forward.

They always get us in so quickly! My dog had a horrible ear infection but hates men so I was thrilled when she only had to wait two days to be seen by our regular female vet. We switched to this office at the beginning of COVID and I have only spoken to Dr Sitton on the phone but she seems like a very kind and warm person. The techs are amazing. They are running in and out trying to keep up with employment shortage during this insanely hot summer. Somehow they manage to stay sweet and make me feel they really care about my little dog. Several times I have called early in the morning or late at night thinking I would leave a message but someone actually answers the phone!!! These people work so hard! So happy I have a non-corporate vet's office that I can trust.

I have two cats with skin allergies that flare up in a serious way. I have been taking my cats to the vet all during the pandemic. The method of staying in the car and having your pet brought in to the vet, and then later speaking to the vet on the phone is very challenging. But Sherwood Family Pet Clinic wins the award for excellent service all around. The assistants who answer the phone are so kind and knowledgeable. They are willing to go the extra mile for you and your pet. The doctors are great! They care, they take the time, they document, they examine, they study and they don't over-charge!....It is all evident when speaking with them. They have helped me and my cats so much and I am very grateful for all they have done for us. I highly recommend them. I am so grateful for the patience, understanding and skill the staff at Sherwood Family Pet Clinic gives their customers.

Sherwood Family Pet Clinic has taken a steep dive over the last few years. 2 weeks to get your dog in for a nail trim. I mean... Come on... Sounds like they need to hire more staff. Also appointment times are now RARELY honored. Your 1PM appointment quickly turns into a 1:30 appointment. This happens every time. They now charge you $20 if you leave during the appointment for a "kennel fee". Totally crazy especially given the certain times were in. Yeah, let me sit out in my car for 45 minutes for my already late appointment. You'll easily spend well over an hour here due to their tardiness on getting you in on time for your appointment. We now make the Drive to Bethany family pet clinic.

I finally feel I have a forever vet. First, the staff is wonderful and when one is stressed that is so important. Dr. Woodside was wonderful to me and my animal. This was my second visit with my cat and a very important component was careful conservative treatment. I did not end up having very expensive not necessary tests as I did with the last vet.

I have spent thousands of dollars. They always pair me with this doctor who knows absolutely nothing. Repeatedly she has told us she doesn't know why our cat itches himself. She said it's just him. He has to wear a cone for life. He just rips open, blood everywhere. My heart breaks for this cat . I feel like we got no where. Her last contact with us was a few months ago and she just said I don't know, good bye. I wouldn't recommend this clinic, money hungry for sure .

Always pleased with the care I get for my puppy. Staff is so thoughtful and helpful. Puppy had a bad cough Friday night. They squeezed us in Saturday afternoon. Left with great instructions, advice, and proper meds. Puppy slept well last night. He’s already on the mend.

I have recently established care here for my very fat 9 year old cat, Oliver, who I have had since he was a kitten. He had to have 7 teeth extracted, which was very difficult for me to accept. Dr. Schlimgen educated me on Oliver's condition in a way that was caring and understanding. I didn't feel judged for not catching it sooner and he took very amazing care of my fur baby. I'm so grateful to have found a Vet that I can trust. Thank you to Dr. Schlimgen and all the wonderful staff!

I took my dog Pickles to 2 other vets before coming to Sherwood. Both vets were unsure what was wrong with him and suggested surgery and charged a ton of money for labs to still not be able to conclude a thing. Here at Sherwood they helped out Pickles with his anal glands and address any concerns I had that the previous vets mentioned. The doctor was kind and said he was all fine that we should just keep an eye on him and we could call anytime we needed to. I appreciated their thoroughness in examining Pickles and how kind they were. It was definitely worth the drive to bring Pickles to the Sherwood Family Pet Clinic!

We brought Bella, a 9 month-old tabby home from the Oregon Humane Society on a Saturday. On Sunday, we noticed she had a sneeze or two and thought nothing of it. On Monday I set up an appointment at SFPC for the following week. I emailed a few days later them telling them of my concerns about her sneezing and breathing. They said I should come in right away, at noon. The staff were extremely accommodating and professional. Dr. Wustenberg saw Bella and prescribed her medication and told me Bella had an upper respiratory infection. I really like how they addressed my concerns. If you’re looking for a great pet clinic, this is the one to see. I highly recommend them. Bella is now on the mend.

We have taken both our dog and cat to Sherwood Pet Family Clinic since they were tiny. They have always been warm and welcoming! They take excellent care of pets and are very good with communication and transparency. We had previously taken our cat to have him put down and they were very empathetic. They let us have as much time as we needed to say goodbye and later sent us a card and a print of his paw. They are not the cheapest but their care is worth it!

Reliable caring attention for our big dog who cut his foot. Doc explained the process, why the care was recommended and asked if there were any questions or concerns. Options were provided and fees discussed. Our big guy is home and doing great!
