Rose City Veterinary Hospital Portland, Washington

Our 11 year old, 5-lb Yorkie (Aivah) developed a small suspicious bump on her leg which other vets had historically ignored. We noticed it was bothering her pretty significantly and it turned out to be a mast cell tumor. Rose City took it seriously and got her in for surgery within a couple weeks. She is now recovering like a champ and they completed the procedure for quite a bit less than we were originally quoted, which was a pleasant surprise. We love Rose City!!

My cat was not eating and throwing up a lot. They got me in quickly and were very communicative about next steps, costs, and what I could do to help him get better.

I have been taking my dog to Rose City for years! I absolutely love this clinic. They get straight to the point with treatment and do not try to sell you unnecessary treatments or lab work. Dr. Perchick is phenomenal, also special shout-out to Candace in the back. She is always so pleasant to talk to, fast, and gets what you need done when you need it done. I just added a new addition to my fur family and I am planning on bringing him in to see Dr. Perchick as soon as possible! I recommend this place to ANYONE with pets in the Portland area!

Rose city vet shows so much care and compassion for my dog and cat! Their front desk attendants are super nice and always pick up the phone and the vet I had absolutely loved my dog & helped him through his kennel cough. I love this vet!!

As long as I am in Portland I will Only be taking my heart child (doggie) here. This vet has some of the nicest staff I've ever met, the lobby was super nice and clean and they have products that I would actually buy! Also I loved all funky seating choices. It was just a great energy and experience at that place - emergencies aside and everything - but I just loved this place and I was 100% comfortable that they would treat my doggie with the best care. Highly recommend!!!

The best vet my cats have ever had! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Craig Quirk and his team at Rose City Vet. They are true professionals who care deeply about your animals and you. Since leaving Portland, I have realized just how special they are as a practice. They're committed to improving outcomes by implementing best practices and new treatments, and they continuously improve their technologies and facilities to support a higher standard of care. If he wouldn't hate the trip, I would bring my cat to Portland for his veterinary care just to go to Rose City Vet.

Rose city vets and Dr. B are amazing. We are so grateful for their care. Our cat experienced a urethral plug and required an ED visit. They got us in afterward on short notice and fixed him up and he was back to his normal self 3 days later. They were attentive, professional and helped relieve his suffering in a compassionate way at a reasonable cost. We are very grateful to the practice and Dr. B’s care, she got our cat tuned up and healthy again!

Staff is friendly and helpful. Dr Beswick provides great care for my dog! Update written three years later: I've moved away from Portland, but I continue to schedule televet/telephone consultations - because in my new city, I haven't been able to find another vet who is as insightful, as patient, and as good at explaining concerns and cares. I believe Doctor Beswick is the most committed and capable vet who'll ever manage care (and wellness!) for my furbaby. I'll continue with televet appointments as long as I can. Thank you to the entire RCVH team!!

I'm always impressed with Rose City Vets. They really care about your pet's health. The staff is very friendly and I trust that they will be honest about what my dog needs.

In all the years I’ve been taking my animals to Rose city, I have absolutely no complaints. The thoughtful staff are always so happy to see my animals and they accommodate anything I need since I happen to be blind. My latest experience with my cat Zoe and her dental work— cleaning and extraction— was great. Everything went well and I cannot think of anything I would have had them do differently

We love Rose City! Our pups are well treated and we are able to get them in relatively easily. Good communications as well.

I liked this office it was really clean, happy, bright & zen. The staff was really friendly, helpful, and excellent. Our vet made it seem like it was so easy to handle my unhappy kitties and he was super insightful and thorough. Thank you guys!

I'll caveat this by saying I don't really have any place to compare this against - but that said I find all the staff here are pleasant and enthusiastic, professional and knowledgeable. So what more do you need?

Dr. Berger and staff take great care of our family. Our animals never fear the vet since they are always given lots of attention and treats. Rose City Vet uses numerous "calming" techniques for the animals and it is another way they show how much they care. I am happy to be able to go in to the clinic again. Asking clients to wear masks indoors is very comforting and I felt very safe due to this requirement.

RCVH has been taking care of our pets for over a decade. They are fantastic and caring. We moved to the deep East County and we will still bring our cats into town because we trust them!

This hospital is great. How they have adapted to covid is incredible and they have thought of everything to make their practice run smoother during such. Dr.Perchick and Becky were an amazing team for my cats first dental cleaning and did an excellent job throughout the whole process.
