I’ve always taken my dog here and have been mostly happy but now we are 2 years later into the pandemic and still curbside service? Seriously will this ever end I don’t see why vaccinated can’t go in with a mask at least we want to see what’s going on with our pups it just doesn’t feel the same and we still have to pay the same or more

Sorrento Animal Hospital has provided excellent care for our pets for many years now. I highly recommend them.

The worst vet clinic we’ve ever been to. The doctor wanted to euthanize our cat while he's not terminally ill. They were not responsive to our requests to refer our cat to a specialist. In my original review, I detailed how Sorrento treated us and our cat; however, the review was only visible for a day or so. Sorrento's medical director called my partner after she saw the review. The original review was removed within an hour. They flagged it in order to hide it? I don't know.

Our beloved family member passed away after struggling in pain for over two days following a routine dental cleaning procedure. She was only 6 years old and in perfect health prior to the procedure. A lack of adequate access to and timely follow up professional veterinary care, poor communication, and the actions of an unlicensed vet assistant created this hole in our family. We are traumatized and have a lack of confidence in the veterinary profession now. Your follow up response to my original posting (paragraph above) is insensitive and hurtful. None of your staff responded to my multiple requests for help over two business days as she grew weaker and weaker; not sure how someone could rationalize this as aiming to deliver a great experience. Services should not be provided without notifying people ahead of time that Sorrento will not provide access to adequate follow up care. Many local emergency vet hospitals are not accepting patients or the wait can be over 8-12 hours.

These are by FAR the kindest, most compassionate veterinarians and vet techs I've met in the Beaverton/Tigard area. I've trusted them with 2 cats over the last 15 years and have nothing but respect and appreciation for everything they've done in that time. I can say from my experience that Dr. Derose and Dr. Hille will treat your animals as if they were their own, and give you honest advice and help with your pets. Highly, highly recommended.

These guys were really great with my cat and told me about an option for her asthma my previous vet hadn't told me about that ended up being better for her health long term and saves me from having to take her in so often.

My puppy slam loves it here! I really appreciate the picture them took of him on his first visit here and how excited his favorite vet tech gets to see him! They also make vaccinations easy by offering him treats to distract him. Finally, 10/10 for having a phone number I can reach out to through texts! I normally work 8-5 now so it saves so much time to send out a text than trying to figure out when to call haha

Very knowledgeable. Took good care of my fur babies. The doctor there thoroughly explained what was wrong and what I can do to help my pets. They told me the prices of what is needed before they treated the animals and did not try to up sell I highly recommend them for all your pet's needs.

My Yorkie.. Ms. Dori is a patient there and Sorrento is amazing. I can get in to the clinic very quickly. Dr Hille is so kind and so nice. The whole staff is. From the Receptionist to the Techs and the Doctors. So glad I found them!!!

Finally found a vet that is handling the covid protocols well. I have a high energy dog and they were wonderful with her. Got the results of the test back fast and a call from the vet. I can understand why Dove Lewis Vet care recommends them.

The office staff is discourteous and unprofessional. I was appalled by their insolent attitude. After spending several hundred dollars, I still have not received or told x-ray results of my pet. I took my pet there since I was able to make an appointment one week sooner than my vet. But it was totally disappointing and regretful.

Caring people! Recent visit with my scardy cat. Appreciate the help and advice. Cost was acceptable.

I had taken my kitty Mia to Tualatin Emergency over the weekend knowing she was acting off and not swallowing well , sneezing and coughing. They didn't find anything after waiting in the parking lot 2 1/2 hours and sent me home with steroids for allergies. Sorrento was able to get Mia in and seen first thing the following week. The staff is super friendly and clearly love animals. Dr. DeRose called and took time and care to go over options for Mia and knowing she was in good hand decided to have her sedated and have Dr D take a better look in Mia's throat & nose. Lo and behold a long blade of grass was lodged up her nose and dangling down her throat. Sorrento truly cares and will take great care of your pet.

I have taken all my pets here. Sorrento has been great with my cats and even did surgery on one and saved her life! They are all about keeping pets healthy and you can trust them with your loved ones.

I've taken all of my animals here Dr. Derose is beyond amazing my bunny, mini macaw, and my yorkie all love him he has a special way with animals and I wont take them anywhere else becuase of it , these are amazing veterinarians they build a bond with your animal, they care so much for them. Amazing impeccable work always. Love you guys so much for always giving my little ones top special care.

I NEVER write reviews, I’m not the Karen type but I am extremely upset and irritated about this situation. Started coming to Sorrento over a year ago when no one could figure out why my cat was scratching himself to the point of scabbing and urinating everywhere. Dr. Smith was awesome! Almost immediately diagnosed the issue as a possible chicken allergy and put him on Prozac to help with his high anxiety. She worked with me at the beginning of the quarantine over the phone to figure out a treatment plan and was overall very helpful. Now, I’m not sure exactly when the service went downhill since I took my cats to VCA during quarantine for their other appointments, but took my boy back a few months because he was scratching again and he loves Doctor Smith. She worked with me to get him on the lowest dose of steroids possible to avoid any side effects HOWEVER, after several weeks, he hadn’t gotten better behaviorally like he normally does. I finally thought to read over the bottle only to see CHICKEN in big fat bold capital letters. Not to mention the last time I brought him in, I sat in the parking lot for over 45 minutes before (correctly) assuming they had completely forgotten I was there and my poor boy was sitting in a carrier alone for nearly an hour. I was offered $25 off the next visit. I was EXTREMELY understanding, maybe they were understaffed and they just forgot to communicate that I was here? Maybe he was actually waiting in a kennel or exam room? This establishment has gone ridiculously downhill over quarantine. I don’t know if they’ve just decided to stop communicating with each other and clients or if they decided to throw their computer system out the window for some godforsaken reason but if the DOG DAYCARE I work at can write down when a dog has a food allergy, a VET HOSPITAL should be able to do the same. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be dealing with anyone but Dr. Smith directly in the future if I ever feel comfortable bringing my animals back here.

They are great with animals, extremely knowledgeable, and very practical. They are very forthcoming and accurate with their cost estimates. We have had all positive experiences there with two pets.

We have two cats and a dog, and Sorrento has been such a blessing, caring for each of them.

Our visit to Sorrento Animal Hospital went great from start to finish. Dr. DeRose was amazing and very knowledgeable. Dr. DeRose did a thorough exam and addressed any and all questions and concerns I had regarding my old cat Momo’s health. The staff here were caring and dedicated professionals. Outstanding customer service !

Every person I interacted with was extremely professional and knowledgeable. You can really tell they care about animals. They were happy to discuss options to save money since I’m currently unemployed and my little five pound Yorkie had a leg injury that needed attention. My interactions have been so much more personal and sincere than other places I’ve been. Take your pet here and I promise you will not regret it!
