EDIT: I have spoken with Dan at positive approach and I do believe they care about their customers. It says a lot about a business when they reach out to try and correct a negative experience. Much appreciated. Had my dog groomed for the first time by Dana. The hair trim looked fine but how she communicated with me regarding my dog I found to be very disrespectful and condescending. I won't be coming here again

My dog Sadie (Collie- Great Pyrenees mix) adores Positive Approach dog day care and grooming. She starts whining about a block away and wiggles with joy as we get out of the car. She clearly loves the staff there and always seems to be having fun when we check the webcams. If a dog is harassing her (or she's harassing them), the staff gently separate them, which I've also seen on the webcams. She comes home tired and covered in slobber, which just tells me she had a great time. The groomers are fast, even with her coat, the cost is totally reasonable, and she loves them. I haven't used them for training in over 6 years bit what I learned from them when I took my old reactive dog in for classes was invaluable. Gave me the skills to do a lot of the training myself.

I am so thankful for Positive Approach, and most importantly, my dog loves to go to "School". I've used their training services and Doggie Daycare. I'm thankful to have a safe, happy place for my dog to attend when she can't go with me - gives me such peace of mind. The staff is attentive and kind and obviously loves dogs. Thank you so much!

Great place to board your dog or for them to stay and play for the day! They have several wifi cameras installed inside and outside so you can remotely check in on your pup, which is fun. They also don't discriminate between dog breeds which is a huge plus. The staff are super friendly and I always feel reassured that my dog is taken well care of.

First booking we had was a Meet & Greet that I had booked weeks in advance to coordinate with our holiday plans & make sure we had all her records from the vet. We had gotten an email confirmation & text reminder. But when we showed up, they said they had overbooked so we couldn't go in. So we rescheduled. No one even bothered to call us to say they had overbooked & needed to reschedule a few clients (& I'm baffled that they didn't even consider who booked when). After we FINALLY did the meet & greet, we booked before leaving, for a play day to help socialize our dog. My partner had to leave his job early and coordinate his work day around this. When he showed up they said they couldn't find record of the booking, but again we had an email confirmation. AGAIN we couldn't be seen. Rather he was told "oh I was too busy that I didn't have time to make calls". Both times they did NOT take the time to give us a call to inform us of the situation. Both times they refused to figure something out for our situation that could've been avoided if they had communicated with us. So I wonder if those email/text confirmations are even valid. What's the point of making deposit or booking well in advance if you won't even be seen due to them being overbooked?

I only hear about the treats and baby sitting BONNIE for the pets . Not much comments on training or only Abad comments and just no more on the training. That makes me wonder . You don't have to advertise. It's amazing how word of mouth gets the honest rates. It's very interesting.

I love Positive Approach! It's a great option if you need to board your reactive dogs or have dogs that just don't want to be in a day care setting. I've been taking my personal dogs here for years and they have always done a great job with them. I also have a 501(c)(3) dog rescue and board my rescue dogs here from time to time. The staff takes such great care of them and truly care about all the dogs that I've housed there. All of the staff is super friendly and Di, Dan and Dawn are amazing. I highly recommend the staff at Positive Approach!

Staff is always so professional. Prices seem fair to our family. Dogs always love going there. The webcams are a nice way to stay in touch and find a little sprinkle of happiness throughout the day when you can look at your dog running around happy. I will say that this place is animal friendly, human friendly, and military friendly. We are sad to be moving away in just over a month. This place and the people here will be missed!

I have only driven by and visited the website. Lots of good info. My pet loving friend said that she boards her dog there. If she trusts them, so do I.

UPDATE: They reached out and tried to remedy the situation, which is hard to do after the incident. But it was a great gesture by them to do so! We have used Positive Approach for almost a year now, for training classes, and daycare. I have been happy for the most part UNTIL last week. I took my dog in for daycare, I typically do once a week. When I went to pick him up, they said his ear had been bit and they applied “blood stop powder” and he’ll be fine. At the same time he shook, and it was like a horror film. I had blood splattered on my face, he did as well, and blood was dripping everywhere! On a positive note, the employees DID help me find a vet to take him to ASAP, they DID hold pressure and try to wrap for transport. What I am SUPER upset about is they didn’t even try to notify me as SOON as this happened (regardless of severity) and now a week later have not bothered to call us and ask his outcome. A week later, and HUNDREDS of dollars later, and MANY vet visits, he is STILL recovering.

Great dog daycare place! Whenever we have things to do during the day we bring our pup here. The people that work there are super friendly and our pup LOVES going. He gets super excited when he get out of the car and is always sad to leave when I come to get him. They also do dog boarding which we have done for a weekend and that was also good stuff. We haven’t done the dog grooming yet, but I’ve heard good things about that as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone reading, and I also tell other people about how great it is if they are looking for a dog daycare.

Really friendly staff at this place. Great place to leave your pet when you have to be gone for a while. Your pet is guaranteed to be well taken care of by the very competent staff.

Poor/no communication for initial training session. Front desk staff know little about training schedule or who is teaching.

This place is a great place to take your pet. They have tons of knowledge and patience. I took my dog who hasn't had a lot of experience with grooming and they took very good care of him. I will be bringing him back.

We used Positive Approach for boarding our dog for a three-day vacation and she was clearly well taken care of. We’ve used their services for grooming as well and she always comes out looking so lovely thanks to their talented groomer.

Recently i had to get boarding care for my 2 yr old dog. I was able to get care here. When i picked up my dog after a 2night, 3 day event my dog was happy, looked good and the staff were very caring and kind. I was nervous to leave my dog with Positive Approach yet in the end i worried for nothing. They took wonderful care of my dog.

Thank you for being so kind about my puppy, Memphis and for having a conversation with me. You and your co-owner are so very kind, and it is clear that the dogs are your top priority!

Very nice staff. Cool streaming option, but unfortunately my puppy got sick from being there. When we came to pick him up the staff tried to give me some other dogs bedding and chew toy. Didn't think much of it until we ended up with a vet bill around $900 to find out our pup has kennel cough.

Great customer service. I called to surprise my sister with more hours at her favorite creature's favorite place. The staff was so friendly and fun, I can see why the puppy loves it there.

The people here are great. They know their stuff, they care about my dog, and I've learned a lot from them. However, there are serious communication issues going on. For my training class, I was told that there would be a seminar for the first session. However, I was never notified that it was actually a Zoom meeting, so I showed up for no reason. None of my other classmates received this notification either. Then today, I showed up for class just to be told that there would be no classes for the holiday. This would be OK, except no one said anything! I was even told "see you next week"! I think these are easy fixes, but the lack of communication is frustrating and makes me trust this business less.

Our baby boy had so much fun here while we were out of town. Staff are friendly and the cameras to watch your pup are so great. They move around the little play furniture every day, and are fast to pick up potty messes.

Poor service, waited 15 minutes to buy a bag of dog food! They seem to be under staffed and about dog grooming.
